Lolicon heaven and Idyllic life greatness: Asatte no Houkou is the best of two worlds.

Asatte no Houkou is in no doubt one of the best slice of life series in the anime world of 2006. However, is it a lolicon heavenly keep with the extremely lovable characters or a series that speaks volumes about how a slice of life series should be done?
Both are applicable, to a great degree.
5 commentsI.D Analysis - Happiness, Yamato and Asatte Episode 8

Yes, this is yet another edition of I.D Analysis, where the faithful, cunning and awfully disturbing clones of Impzie will bring you the latest summary and thoughts in the Impzie’s Destructive way. The fact that they are all clones meant that they are unable to fathom lengthy writing, hence everything is in a concise, bit size fashion.
Move on, move on. The clones have decided that this article will be devoted to Happiness!, Yamato as well as Asatte Episode 8. Due to love, courage and honesty of the love in cute characters, they will move forth! (aka, time for summary + thoughts). The clones have also been temporarily discharged for duty for the review of Asatte Episode 8, due to Impz’s love for that episode.

Time for I.D.A (Impzie’s Destructive analysis) once again!
All right, this will suffice for a quick thought and roll for Sumomomo momomo~, Asatte no Houkou and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. To add, I cannot believe how I forgot all about Kiniro no Chord. I only realize I forgot about this anime yesterday and caught up with it. I will not blog the previous six entries but I will go straight with episode 7. It might also be an active entry (aka standalone) if I can afford the time.
Onwards, my good clones! Summarize and review!

Note: We will have a new blogger coming soon by the name of Reslez…..EXCITEMENT!!!!!

Hmm, is is just me but Shouko is getting cuter and cuter as the episodes run by. I do not know but this screenshot really makes the sleeping Shouko look so darn cute.
Eh….Ok, i will talk more about a certain disturbing thought that I have later. I swear that it has gone through all your heads as well, but it only hit me completely now.

Don’t you want to help her?
Shouko is really cute. It’s almost disturbing how this Shouko-centric episode is so funny. I found myself in stitches in some of the scenes, even though Asatte should not be a show where I am laughing so hard. Still, there has been a sense of development in this episode, as we see how the three people are trying to change their lives to adjust for their new selves.

Awww, why did you make the lolicious Karada cry like that?
Sigh, Karada is really cute big time now. At least the resolution for episode 4 was a nice one, and I really enjoyed this episode a lot, much more so than Episode 3. Even though the quality of the animation dipped slightly (Hiro and Karada had funny-looking faces in some of the screenshots), the nice emotional feel-good factor was there and that made my day.
A brief summary and my thoughts continued….
Episode 4 Rating: A-

Shoukou is reviving her childhood. Still, she is hell cute in kid form.
The third episode deals with Shoukou and how she is adapting to the whole situation of turning into a kid. We see less of Karada this episode as it is a Shoukou-centric section, with flashbacks and memories of Hiro and the likes. In a way, we realize a bit more about the relationship of the two and I guess it’s understable why the two people did the things they did.
It was just that….it’s sad.
