Well I guess waiting for the professor to compile all the data from every land is now the norm so in the mean time I guess more posting time. So this post has been incubating on my hard drive for sometime ever since True Tears ended but it has been expanded quite a bit since then.

As a military man I simply adore how shoujo shows have one thing that most other genres lack, doctrine. While there is many a mecha pilot and shounen brat that is ready and eager to charge forth into the fray, this to me is at best some piss poor doctrine and a serious lack there of at worst. In any case the typical shoujo Heroine displays far more tactical and strategic acumen at achieving her objectives so here is a breakdown of a few that I have come across, this list is by no means comprehensive and I hope that a few of you have some proposals of your own. Like war for the shoujo heroine there is no substitute for victory in her love life and in her struggles all is fair, though not all is right. To form a coherent doctrine she has to break things down into strategy (over all vision of how to achieve her goals), operational art (amassing the resources she needs where and when she needs them), and tactics (what she does in every date/meeting). It is no simple task and while there are preferred doctrines proper execution and the will to win remain key to a decisive victory.

Hauptmann Katsura has finally earned her rank and redeemed herself, sadly Sekai after mauling Itou was killed in action after being outfought by Hauptmann Katsura. Like any posthumous slayer of evil, Sekai will be awarded with the Anime Medal of Freedom. She would have gotten an Anime Medal of Honor had she not slept with the enemy. Even if she is dead I hope she is most grateful. Ironically enough Hauptmann translates to “head man” a most fitting title for Hauptmann Katsura if I do say so myself. So I have been crushed under the weight of my crusade against the hideous beast that is known as a fiscal year close out. Indeed it is more terrible than the Soviet Nuclear Dragon for it comes every year and can never truly be killed. One would think that the over abundance of money is a good thing, but this is the Federal Government of the United States any money that is not spent is lost through the mists of time never to be seen or heard from again. Suffice to say spending money like a madman doesn’t make for much free time away from a military workstation and filling out forms and signing mountains of documents. Damn I lament the fact that the studio has neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of Itou’s death. Where the heck is Admiral Raymond A. Spruance when you need him? We need a man who can be snap decisions that are the right decisions to ensure a most ignoble end to the life of Itou and his unborn monster.

I am so disappointed in Hauptmann Katsura. Like any Japanese anime twit when given a weapon she can barely comprehend how to use it. Now if she were a woman scorned from any where else heads would be rolling by now. I give up; the most promising bringer of retribution has failed, or at best has successfully deceived all of us in a single brilliant stroke. This is why these goddamn Jap doormats both in fiction and in reality (politicians mostly) think that simply saying sorry without an ounce of sincerity can cure all. You start by saying sorry and correct whatever it is you have fucked up. Saying sorry is not the be all end all of punishment. Death is, and I am still waiting for a head to roll…

Oh no the Red ring of Death! My 360 just died. Wait… whew it still works. Hopefully this is just a portent of DOOM!

I find that labeling this show as shounen romance, as some of my comrades have opted do, to be disturbing. Not that they are wrong. However, associating the word romance with School Days ought to be a crime. Romance was once far above the morass of bodice rippers that we in this degenerate age have come to see. Indeed in days that have long since faded into memory Romance was associated with the Song of Roland, and Beowulf. In days past romance had to be epic, but the only thing epic about School Days is the epic stupidity of the cast.

So fucking Kato is the next to fall. Good the bitch deserves Itou as a mate and with any luck they will be forever a couple until death do they part, and I do mean DEATH. Hopefully that day will thunder upon them while in flagrante delicto. I hope Taisuke does push Katsura over the edge with the truth and hopefully nothing but the truth.
