Yes, this is yet another edition of I.D Analysis, where the faithful, cunning and awfully disturbing clones of Impzie will bring you the latest summary and thoughts in the Impzie’s Destructive way. The fact that they are all clones meant that they are unable to fathom lengthy writing, hence everything is in a concise, bit size fashion.

Move on, move on. The clones have decided that this article will be devoted to Happiness!, Yamato as well as Asatte Episode 8. Due to love, courage and honesty of the love in cute characters, they will move forth! (aka, time for summary + thoughts). The clones have also been temporarily discharged for duty for the review of Asatte Episode 8, due to Impz’s love for that episode.

————————————————–

1. Happiness! Episode 8

Episode summary

Everyone went over to the beach for some relaxation at the school clubhouse after Koyuki applied for the clubhouse using everyone’s names in the club to apply. Jun told Yuuma to treat Haruhi nicer due to the fact that he was hostile with her for being a magic user. They then went on the common beach games, with tons of fanservice to spare and Yuuma trying to improve relations with Haruhi. They then had a hunt to the top, with Jun giving Yuuma and Haruhi a wrong map so that they could have time together.

Ibuki was seen doing something suspicious as they arrived at the base of the waterfall. Haruhi decided to swim around but a log dropped down, with her trying to use magic. Yuuma shoved her to safety but scolded her that she did not need to use her magic. Eventually, everyone arrived and it was night time for dinner. Haruhi was seen practicing away from everyone. Ibuki’s weapon was there to get the wolves to attack Haruhi. Haruhi tried to avoid using her magic but eventually did so to save Yuuma. Yuuma then told her he did not hate magic and he only hated it when it’s abused. They then got together in a better friendship after this experience. Ibuki seemed to be convinced that Haruhi was the daughter of “that woman”.

Thoughts

Not much story as yet. However, the amount of fanservice is so gratifying that it is probably good for most fans. I am not impressed since the show has been relatively shifted from average to downright mediocre. I am rather disappointed, considering they have only 12 episodes (or 13?) to play with. At least, it seems that Ibuki has an agenda with Haruhi, calling her the child of “that woman”. So, what is going on? Please make Happiness! a happy trip for me at the end please.

————————————————–

2. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge Episode 8

Episode summary

Kyouhei suddenly suggested to have a steamboat as he ordered Sunako to prepare one for him. They then went to the market section, with everyone going haywire with the appearance of Kyouhei’s sparkling bisheness. All of them also gave them free food, since it was a great celebration that a scary gal like Sunako could find such a handsome boyfriend. Kyouhei also bought crabs and the likes, with Sunako’s money purse immediately turning empty. She was very sad over it. Eventually, the Kyouhei lovers came and turned it to a total riot, with all the ingredients toppled over, with no money for a Kotatsu.

The guys then worked at a restaurant, with Kyouhei bringing back some food for Sunako. Sunako also learned that Kyouhei had never experienced steamboat with a family at all and decided to make a Kotatsu with the carpenter. Kyouhei also got free gifts in the market since he attracted tons of fans to buy. Everyone was getting worried for the two of them, since it was winter and they did not get back yet. As they opened the door, both of them were facing downwards in the snow. All of them were impressed how Sunako was so multi-talented as Kyouhei was happy that they had a steamboat and Kotatsu. Sunako was also happy quietly that Kyouhei had his wish fulfilled.

Thoughts

Not much laughs in this episode. However, I like the little bit of story development between Kyouhei and Sunako, as well as a glimpse at the background of Kyouhei’s family. I cannot help but feel that Yamato can be so much better with another director in hand. Still, it is a decent show that is marginally average currently. I hope that I get more laughs and the fact that the SD Sunako is a bit lesser in this episode pleases me. They need to have more “cool” moments for her.

——————————————–

3. Asatte no Houkou Episode 8

Episode summary

Karada left the house as she went to first search for a flat to rent but found the price too expensive. She then went to a fastfood restaurant trying to eat and then to find work, but realized she needed a resume of sorts. She then hunted around with very little money and her naivety to find a job, but failed to find any. She was then approached by three gangsters, asking her for tea and the likes. She only barely escaped, only to hit a sleazy red light district, as she ran away once again. She then hid under a staircase in the heavy rain, lonely being alone.

We then had the flashback where Karada realized she had a brother in USA, as well that she was not their real daughter. Still, her parents adored her but when they died, Hiro rushed back to her side. She knew that Hiro always avoided questions of his life in the US and after seeing the pictures of Shouko and Hiro, she understood what exactly she had stolen: his happiness. Hence, she decided to leave, only for the taxi driver to call Hiro up (she had dropped her resume). Hiro then saw Karada who was leaving on the train to another city. He tried to stop but the train door closed, with a mouthed sorry and thank you from a teary-eyed Karada.

Thoughts

This is a really magnificent episode. The song of Kasa playing in the background built a really melancholic mood to the whole flashback and it is painful to see the raw gushing of emotions. I came with a bout of tears after this episode, because the innocent Karada’s resolve to leave was….plain painful. I understand why she is doing it, but it is a really badly planned idea. Still, she is only 12, so who can’t blame her for thinking that way?

I am also very worried for her. If she was just a tad unluckier, she would have been raped or something without anyone knowing. Even though she has an adult body, she is but a child, fending off danger in a big city that she has never seen in her entire life. This is definitely way too dangerous already for a kid, and i fear for her safety. It is hard and probably someone stone-hearted to not sympathize with Karada. Sigh, this show is just darn good.

Lastly, the next week’s preview seems to be about Karada’s friend. Honestly, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO KARADA. I could care less about anyone already.

Time for I.D.A (Impzie’s Destructive analysis) once again!

All right, this will suffice for a quick thought and roll for Sumomomo momomo~, Asatte no Houkou and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. To add, I cannot believe how I forgot all about Kiniro no Chord. I only realize I forgot about this anime yesterday and caught up with it. I will not blog the previous six entries but I will go straight with episode 7. It might also be an active entry (aka standalone) if I can afford the time.

Onwards, my good clones! Summarize and review!

1. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge Episode 7

Summary

Episode 7 deals with a new gangster that is hunting down Kyouhei to become the strongest person in the school. He came to school to mess up, only to fall in love with Sunako (nice choice, gangsta). Eventually, in an attempt to get Sunako, he sent his two lackeys to observe Sunako, only to see her sunbathing her dolls and the likes. They then escaped, only to tag along Hiro. Sunako gave chase, only to be trapped by the gangsters as they held Hiro captive.

The rest of the gang less Kyouhei decided to help but was captured. Kyouhei saved the day but as they pinned Sunako down, Kyouhei was unable to fight back. The inevitable came as Sunako went on berserk mode seeing her precious Kyouhei bashed up for her as she went for a triple flip suplex on the gangster.

Thoughts

Interesting episode that is much better than episode 5 and 6 at least in the laugh section. I find that the theme of each episode is very standard. They get into a situation, they messed up, Kyouhei saves the day, Sunako saves Kyouhei. I am not complaining since I laughed, but it feels almost like a good premise wasted.

———————————————–

2. Asatte no Houkou Episode 7

Summary

It is Hiro’s 28th birthday as Hiro forgot about it once again. Shouko reminisced about how he always forgot his birthday and she had in fact tried to make a roast chicken that turned to a charcoal chicken instead. She then threw it away, inviting him for a treat outside but always disappointed. Karada then suggested that they would make a cake for him as they went out, buying a recipe book and then the ingredients for the cake. As they finally got everything, they went to Shouko’s apartment, as Shouko unpacked some of her goods, as well as some books that she could bring back to Hiro’s house.

They then went on to bake the cake, with Shouko being completely unhelpful in doing the chores. Eventually, it was done, with some improvising from Karada, as they waited for Hiro to be back. At night, Hiro went out to buy cigarettes, as Shouko tagged along. Karada, being alone, finally saw the picture of Hiro and Shouko together stacked in one of the books that Shouko brought from her house. The next day, Karada was not around.

Thoughts

I do not understand why Karada left. Did she feel bad that she’s imposing and the reason why Hiro and Shouko broke up? Anyway, this episode continues on slowly but it definitely does wonders because of the idyllic style of story telling. I am really enjoying this series and the only reason why I am not making a full entry for this is because there are a lot of people blogging this and I will like to reserve my time to anime less touched. Still, this is understandably one of the best series out there right now. You can’t go wrong watching this.

—————————————–

3. Sumomomo momomo~ Episode 7

Summary

They finally got the truth out from the Tiger guy that there was a war going on. As Koushi’s father explained, there were two factions in the north and south. In order to stop the infighting, they paired up Momoko and Koushi to relieve any conflict. However, there were resentment in the camps as they sent assassins to attack them, in order to start a new war. Koushi was then more sympathetic and was blushing when he was with Momoko alone. He then convinced himself that he should simply concentrate on his work and not bother about this.

At school, he was leaving school with Sanae. When Momoko asked him to go home together and that she would protect him, he called her a nuisance and left with Sanae. They then met up with some bullies and Sanae was punched on the face while defending him. He then picked himself up as he remembered how annoyed he was to be a coward and powerless. He fought the bullies but lost badly. Still, he felt good. As he reached home with wounds and the likes, Momoko was very worried and wanted to put some dressing on his wounds but eventually withdrew because she remembered how Koushi called her a nuisance. Koushi felt bad as he called her back to help her, with their relationship developing of sorts.

Thoughts

This episode has slightly less laughter but there is some good character development. I admit that I find Momoko slightly annoying at the start but she has gained my favor to be the proper pairing. She is the only one that stayed with Koushi all the way, never complaining even though she is abused so badly. Sanae is more like someone that Koushi wanted to talk to normally but it seems more like a crush. Inoha, even though I love her, is not possible because she feels more like a imouto. She’s still darn sexy though.

———————————–

4. Kiniro No Corda Episode 7

Summary

Hino was still disturbed after the close proximity encounter with Hihata, as she was unable to concentrate with her violin practice. However, she was taken away by the teacher to do some grocery shopping with Shimizu and Fuyuumi. At the house, Tsukimori completely messed up with heating food using a microwave and Ryou had to do some fried rice for them. Hihata also accidently drunk Hino’s drink. When they got back, Hihata tried to explain it but eventually flee the scene as we know a bit about Tsukimori’s mother being famous. At night, Hino was practicing her violin and Hino joined in to play a beautiful duet.

As they returned home, they had the second test with the theme being “trust”. The reporter was chasing Tsukimori all around the place, asking him for quotes as well as the news that his mother was going to listen to his recital in the concorde. He avoided the reporter various times. Hino was practicing in one of the rooms and was about to leave when Tsukimori suddenly charged in, covering her mouth in order to escape from the reporter. He then chased her away as she felt herself blushing and her heart rapidly beating. She then realized that his hand was cool to the touch and it seemed that he was with a fever. As she wanted to get help, he held her hand as he fell asleep, with his body lying toward her.

Thoughts

This is pretty interesting to say the very least. It seems that Tsukimori suffers from an inferiority complex toward his parents due to the pressure created by his talented elders. It is quite nice to see some weakness in him, rather than simply the harsh and cool person that he is. It is always nice to see Hino’s various strange face expressions too and I am wondering what kind of music she will play next. Fun, fun, fun!

————————————-

That’s it for the fastfood I.D.A review!

Do comment if you want this to be a regular feature for series that are less blogged. I will be doing this for Kiniro No chord…ermm something of that title ~_~

Halloween on October 31th. Did you celebrate it? I did not and I did not get anything about this episode, except that I know just a little bit about Trick or Treat. That’s about it. Sunako seems to love it a lot, the festival and the likes.

Sadly, I did not like this episode much.

Ehhh, why? This episode is not very laughable by any means. It just seems to be the first episode in this series that has caused me to go like “…Huh?” when it happens. I mean, I definitely have my share of laughs for this series, but I hope that next episode will bring back the laughs. Sigh.

————————————-

Episode summary

Sunako was dreaming about her freaky friends when she saw a pumpkin shaped figure in her dreams, asking her how she could forget about him. She was in fact sick for one week, down with a cold, as the four bishies are in trouble. The house was in a bad mess without Sunako, with litter, rubbish and unwashed utensils everywhere. As Sunako somewhat looked down as she came out of her room one day, they asked her what was going on and whether she could start doing housework. She asked about the date and it was past November as she ran back sad, as though she had missed something important in October.

Everyone was questioning what October had as they thought it was her birthday. However, it seemed not to be even though they made a fuzz out with a birthday celebration of sorts. She continued to be down as the bishies picked themselves up and tried to do the housework. Yuki screwed up the washing machine, Takanaga screwed up packing things, I can’t remember what Ran did and Kyouhei failed to wash the toilet effectively.

They were then complaining as they have not washed their clothes for ages and even the toilet had algae. With that, they went to school with their smelly clothes. Noi wanted to hug Takanaga but was denied as he coldly told her to move aside. She then ran away sad. As they returned home, Noi visited, asking why Takanaga rejected her so coldly. She then got the news about them and Sunako totally on the low and unable to deal with the housework.

She then embarks on the attempt of cleaning up the place, even though she was as equally bad as the bishies. As she continued to work well quietly while the bishies looked at, Sunako came out and asked why she was doing this and working so hard. Noi simply said that it was because she really loved Takanaga and wanted to please him as much as she could so that he would not leave her. Sunako then felt bad that she was not doing her work but Noi said Sunako was very admirable since she was so capable at doing this work when she could not.

Sunako then simply gave her a pumpkin and left. Noi then realized that it was in fact Halloween that she had missed. She then told the people about it, and Takanaga took the initiative to start up a party for Sunako, bringing out all the morbid things that Sunako had. They then cleaned the place up as Sunako was invited to come for the dinner, dressed up in a witch costume. As she walked past the pumpkin lights, she felt the whole ambiance of the Halloween as they set up it perfectly for her.

She was finally happy, as she embraced herself into the environment, while her imaginary pumpkin friend told her that she had really wonderful friends. She agreed as she smiled of sorts. Takanaga and Noi also made up, as he kissed her to remind her that she would be the only person and that she mentioned how even if he did not bathe for one month, she would still love him. Yea, sappy stuff. Eventually, they were looking for her to cook something up but she hid in the coffin made, enjoying the “Trick or treat” with her figurines and all that freaky stuff.

This episode is really boring for me. I was half of a mind to stop watching it after 10 minutes and I do not know why. None of the jokes apply to me and it was pretty repetitive at the start, which bores me. The only thing is the Hiro talk right in front, which was extremely morbid and funny but that was about it.

I also thought the little relationship between Noi and Takanaga is rather sweet but still, it feels a little superficial of sorts. I do not know why I feel that way.

Really, I have no thoughts for this episode whatsoever. I want more laughter next episode please. I dislike to blog stuff when I have no thoughts whatsoever for it.

…

Why are there so many trap-sans in this season? Yuki is completely female, I tell you. Instead of being ghey now, I think he is way more suited to be a female. I mean, he looks cute in female gear and he simply looks rather ghey in male gear. So why not just wear female gear like the lovely and babelicious Jun in Happiness!

You might get a fandom greater than anything in the world!

Just to add: Sunako rocks in goth.

Episode 5 Rating: B-

Episode summary (in a digestive cookie style)

There was a famous photographer that was looking out for models for the photo shoot. As he could not find any, surfing the various magazines made him choose Sunako after her “red moon, i gonna pwn you gangster” picture. As Sunako arrived to the scene, she was excited with the gothic castles that were rumored to have spirits and the likes.

However, when she entered into the photo shoot, she went back to her boring self and the photographer was depressed as he could capture 0 good shots. They also freaked out when she started having all the cursing and spirit yearning. Creepy stuff as always.

Outside the castle, the bishies were worried for Sunako but Sunako ran out instead, trying to run away. The photographers then saw the glittering bishies and recruited them for the photo shoot. Kyouhei immediately ran away and hid inside an ancient clock. Yuki was particularly captured and dressed once again as a goth princess, much to his dismay. Yuki tried to run off but was held by the two bishies. He really had enough of this but Takahara said that he was very cute in the dress, hitting him where it hurts the most. As the other bishies had the photo shoot, they look all pretty as Sunako was happily playing around with the creepy rats and things in the castle.

They then took a break, as Yuki was commenting how he was so weak and unable to scold or resist any attempts to be dressing like a female. He wished that he could be like Kyouhei. Sunako said that she was just the same but Yuki mentioned that when it came to the crunch, she would be all majestic. She said that it was not the case. Then, Yuki was asked for another briefing and the photographer mentioned how ugly Sunako was and it was a mistake to get her due to her morbid behavior. Yuki was annoyed because the photographer never bothered to find out who Sunako was and judged someone as that without knowing anything.

With that, he took off his clothes and walked away, only for the photographer to insult Yuki as a person that was not a man or woman. Sunako then broke the camera, as they escaped, with Kyouhei injured while panicking after hearing “YOU HAVE TO PAY”. They then ran away.

Later on, they received an invitation for the gallery and also 50k. They then saw how the picture of their escape was taken while the aunt took the 50k as rent. Many of the people were looking for Sunako but they hid her since she was happily orgasming over ….deathly stuff in the gallery.

————————————–

Thoughts

Hah Hah. You know, I cannot help but laugh at Yuki’s helplessness in this episode. He is always the one that is victimized the most and in a way, he is kind of like Sunako. At least, for one, Sunako can rely on her OH MY GOSH, SPIRIT ATTACK super charged up mode to do all the evil things to others. Yuki is just helpless, since he does not have the guts like Kyouhei. He’s way too nice and I kind of sympathize with him quite a bit. That scene where he says “Mo Yada, Mo Yada” was so funny and sad at the same time. He’s always bullied and the bishies blushing at his beauty was also ridiculously dumb!

Sunako really needs more screentime in the pretty mode. I know the SD mode is a projection of how she thinks of herself, but I think the pretty mode of Sunako is way better and cooler. That is where Sunako is in her element of comedy and seriouness rather than the SD mode. I do not know but maybe I am getting dried up by too much SD modes. Too many anime employed this and maybe I might be getting a little sick with the over exposure of it. I do not know.

Maybe.

However, the humor at various points of the show is still decent but I do realize that this episode did not make me laugh as much as it did. Maybe it is just that the jokes did not rub on me, which is a pity because Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (man, what a handful of words) is still one of the best comedy shows for this fall season.

I think it is just my mood today that is causing me to be less excited over this episode. Oh well, generally decent comedy.

Since there are various artwork parodies here, would any art junkie enlighten me what artworks they are?

Up to my very limited knowledge of artwork, I only know

1. Leonardo da Vinci – “Mona Lisa”
6. Edward Munch – “The Scream”

Tell me if you know please ? :O

Episode summary

The school festival was starting the next day, with Kyouhei excited as he wanted to win the 50k yen top prize for most popular stall. He had quit his last job as the man had touched his buttocks and he flared up by bashing the man up. However, when they asked what Sunako was doing, she only smiled gravely. As the day approached, Sunako brought her humans and skulls, making everyone chill at the sight of it. Kyouhei was in fact having a takoyaki stall, as all the girls started to swoon at him. However, three gangsters came over to mess up stuff, culminating into the gas tank exploding.

Kyouhei then walked around with black ash, hoping to find a place for some peace. He then noticed the horror house as he saw Sunako. Sunako told the “glittering being” to disappear but Kyouhei simply took a black cloth and covered himself to get some peace. He was feeling like how Sunako always wanted to get away.

The class in charge then came in with his girlfriend, only to be scared by Sunako and Kyouhei who was hiding under the black cloth. Kyouhei then grabbed the in-charge as he was angry how he pushed everything to Sunako. However, he said that he promised Sunako that the 50k would be hers if they got first.

Kyouhei was then inspired as he dragged everyone from everywhere in the school festival into the plan as they all dressed up in goth constumes, other than Yuki who was forced to cross-dress once again. They then went out to attract customers, who nosebleed seeing the beautiful bishies again. As the two girls entered, they were first scared by the “cursing sisters” and then Kyouhei who was lying down like a life size figurine.

Kyouhei then searched for Sunako who was in hiding as they were many people. He then tried to drag her out but she responded by saying that Kyouhei was stubborn for not wanting to do work and using this to earn money. They then had a fight until the bookcase was falling and one of the bottles containing some intestines fell. Kyouhei immediately rushed over to hug Sunako, trying to protect her from the falling glass. As Sunako got cut, he started to get closer and showed concern. With that, Sunako nose bleed once again and fainted.

As two new gals came in, they saw Sunako lying down in blood, with blood all over Kyouhei. They then started to fall in love as they also wanted to be bitten and suck dry by the “vampire”. As the end of the festival came, the presentation went on as the whole school gathered. They won unsurprisingly as they went up stage and Sunako hid under the stage due to too many people being around. The presenter then announced Kyouhei to be the winner of the “best man”.

The gangsters then came to disrupt once again, saying that Kyouhei was a violent man that destroyed the gas tank as the fangirls and guys got into a fight. The red gal then dragged Sunako up as Kyouhei sat down in a corner, with Sunako joining him. Sunako once again asked him why he did not bother to find odd jobs. He then mentioned that no matter what jobs he took, he was always sexually harrassed or sacked because people who fanboy him distracted and caused too much trouble in his work place.

One of the gangsters then came up to cause trouble but Sunako turned all spirit-like as she wielded a samurai sword and slashed the gangsta’s clothes away. She then disappeared in a flash. The presenter then came out to present 10k more for Yuki’s performance as a girl. With that, Kyouhei earned 70k as the rest did not want the money but he had to pay 70k for the gas explosion.

He did not earn any money. Sigh.

————————————–

Thoughts

The amount of laughs reduced in this episode. Well, it’s more that some of the jokes did not hit me that much compared to the previous episodes. Do not get me wrong though. This episode still rocks as the ending fighting scene against the gangster saved this episode completely.

I really laughed big time when the red moon appeared, with Sunako turning all vengeful spirit lady waiting to kill the gangster. You know, the thing that I liked about this show is when Sunako transforms from her SD state to her “OMG, I GONNA PWN YOU FOR INSULTING GLITTERING THINGS” Sunako. The best thing was how she literally shone like a glittering figure and calling the gangster an idiot before going back to SD mode (hiding under the stage once again).

I was actually amused when both Kyouhei and Sunako went into tears at the end of the show, due to their losses. Kyouhei’s hard work to earn 70k disappeared in like an instant. Sigh, poor guy, he really has no luck when it came to money.

I really enjoy the transformation because Sunako is in fact a really “glittering being”, if only she bothered to look at herself in the mirror. I wish they would one day force her to face the mirror and she would nosebleed seeing herself. Then, I will laugh my head off at it.

There is something strangely amusing about always dressing Yuki in drag. I mean, he’s probably the cute bishie that everyone loves to tease and me too. In fact, I found it totally amusing how he was considered to be unscary. Sad if I was him. Anyway, next week seems to be some warming party or the likes. That will be pretty interesting to see Sunako in hot gear.

go go go!

Moe + Gothic + Traditional kimono + Sunako = Win

Sunako is now part of the glittering group. What if she sees herself in the mirror, will she nosebleed at herself and be the alternative basilisk or medusa? Instead of stoning herself, she would nosebleed and petrify altogether in a flowing motion.

Oh well, being so low self esteem makes her blind to her own beauty. I am seriously thinking that if she thinks she is ugly after looking at herself. I bet she never bothered to look at her own reflection when she turns all pretty. I think she will be scared of what she sees if she does. Hohohoh~ In essence, this episode is about Sunako being a lady, having a party to go to and causing mayhem eventually.

Anyway, just a brief summary and all that jazz.

Episode summary

We have Sunako cursing and wishing Kyouhei to be dead after the incident on the bed where she felt that she was going to die if Kyouhei was going to be around. Two burly men then came over to recruit Kyouhei to be a male host and tried to tempt him with lots of money but was rejected as they left. Sunako continued to wish for Kyouhei’s death as she thought of how to kill him while preparing dinner, either to poison him or stab him with a knife.

The fireworks came in the sky, as the aunt dropped in to ask for Sunako and told them that she would have a party on Sunday (5 days time) to celebrate Sunako being a virtuous lady. Sunako was actually cooking as the aunt left once again with a rocket up her helicopter to find her next love. At least for one, the aunt had not seen Sunako yet.

They then decided to make Sunako a lady but she refused to do it. Takenaga then used a extremely explicit and bloody video to tempt Sunako but they failed miserably to make her a graceful lady. Sunako wanted to leave but Kyouhei held on to her, before she said that they were all beautiful people and they did not understand. Kyouhei, in a moment of spite, said that she should not do anything and she’s the ugliest of the ugliest.

Sunako then dropped the book that chronicled the plan to kill Kyouhei as the three bishies turned white. Sunako then locked herself in the room for 3 days as the three guys opened the door. They saw her lying on the ground completely close to death as they forced Kyouhei to apologise as they locked him up with Sunako.

He then forced her to eat by threatening to kill her doll. After that, he said he would not apologise but he said that whoever called her ugly was just one guy and there were other guys who would feel differently. Sunako started to nosebleed as he went out and she swore to kill him because she would die soon if she did not kill him as she grabbed ropes to Kyouhei’s room. However, Kyouhei was ready for her as he was in a bathrobe and exposed her plan to kill him. After pressing himself close to Sunako, she turned into stone. However, the men earlier then captured Kyouhei and Sunako wanted to go immediately when she woke up as Kyouhei was her prey. Everyone realized what happened as they dressed up Sunako beautifully in a kimono to get into the “adult’s club” and they cross-dressed as well.

The crazy fangirls of the four bishies were also there at the scene but were rejected as they did not look “exceptional”. As they entered the room, everyone were saying how pretty they were and Sunako was acting like a fair lady, impressing the people over there with her graceful talk. Eventually, the lights dimmed as the host showed an unconscious Kyouhei waiting to be auctioned off. Sunako charged up as she kicked the host and removed her kimono to show a military uniform. She then took up her chainsaw and started some giant mayhem as they rescued Kyouhei away. As they ran off to a playground, Sunako started her death chant but Kyouhei simply gave her a kiss and told her thank you. She “died”.

The aunt then came back to realize what Sunako was as the host was in fact her “love” for that evening. She then said she would overlook it and the party was cancelled. However, she would want to see Sunako as a true lady by the time she came back next. Then, Sunako held a rose as they thought that she was finally aware of her good looks. She then turned the rose black as she continued to be her scary self.

———————————-

Thoughts

I really wonder if she will ever be a perfect lady. Will be interesting to find out and I really like the crazy interactions between Kyouhei and Sunako. It is just super amusing whenever the two came as Sunako’s over reaction always make me laugh.

Other than that, there is nothing really much I like to mention. The graphical quality for this episode dipped quite a bit at the front part of the episode and got slightly better at the end. I hope they do not slack too much on the graphical side as they are always on the low scale and having it go down even more will hurt this show. I really like the slapstick humor and it doesn’t seem to run dry yet.

I still am a bit disappointed that the other three bishies are not fleshed out effectively in their character. Out of the four of them, Kyouhei is perhaps the one with the most distinctive character due to his interactions with Sunako. The other three just seemed to be completely similiar in character, except Takenaga who is a bit more mature. That did not say much still about the three and I hope that the remaining episodes at least give them more chances to develop their characters.

Why did they stay together? that question is also not answered. I mean, it does not look particularly like a hostel so why are they staying together, even if they are paying for the rent. Maybe I should not think so deeply about it but just curious. Anyway, nice episode nevertheless that gave me a good amount of laughter.

Next please!

Sunako is a queen. Hear that from me. She will be the cover model of the best female character in this fall season. *nod nod*

Man, people who hate this anime must have something really great on their hands. If the anime is a disgrace for the manga, I am so begging Joo to buy the darn manga when it ends. Seriously, I mean i found this “lame attempt” from a manga conversion to be totally and completely awesome in its slapstick treatment. The amount of laughs in this show is great and it is tough to really understand the hate for this series.

Episode summary

We have the bishies trying to get Sunako to improve herself for school tomorrow, but she was reluctant to do so. The bishies tried to figure out why she was so reluctant and one of the bishies then threatened to throw one of her life size figurines down. Sunako then said that it was because someone said that she was ugly and had rejected her. She also mentioned that she was in fact normal before and chased them out.

As she went to bathe, she realized that one of the bishies was inside and noticed her. She then dropped all her rubber ducklings and realized that she had shown her body to someone who glitters and started to bleed. The poor bishie had to rush out of the bath and seemed to have a slight cold. The next day, Sunako went along with the four bishies to school, with everyone thinking why she was following them.

Another bishoujo appeared to the scene and Sunako was nosebleeding and commenting about the interaction between glittering people. As she reached the class, everyone started to get interested how she looked like, as she was chased around. Eventually, she found herself in the storeroom, where she met the crazy fangirls and the Ganjuro girls. The Ganjuro girls then said that she covered her face because she was trying to lure others.

She was shocked but one of the bishies came in and saved her. However, one of the Ganjuro girls scratched him accidently as Sunako went on berserk mode and thrashed the hell out of them. She also cut off the bangs on her hair to reveal her face, being totally cool about it. The bishie seemed to fall sick as Sunako was asked to bring him home. The ganjuro girls also knew that Sunako was staying with them now. As the bishie gave all sorts of unreasonable requests with strawberries, she ran off and met the pretty girl. Sunako then noted that it was easy for the pretty girl to say nice things because she was pretty. The pretty girl said it was stupid of her and Sunako had no right to criticize her if she never made any effort to improve.

As Sunako went into the house, the bishies told her that it was possible for her to improve and showed a picture of the pretty girl in secondary school and the girl was very ugly. She left in a moment of shock and we realized that the picture was not of the pretty girl. Eventually, she went back to nursing the sick bishie who was still glittering in sickness. She finally lost her cool as she took out her death reaper, trying to kill him.

—————————–

Thoughts

Why Sunako rocks

1. She’s goth
2. She’s pretty if she bothers
3. She’s all morbid with her style
4. She’s funny with her chibi version
5. She has low self esteem. Low self esteem = moe~

So yea, the conclusion is that she rocks and she is the star. Actually, it is pretty obvious that she is the star for me since she is the only name I can remember from the whole show. I mean, other than appearances, most of the bishies seemed to be the same for me and they are there simply as a collective amusement. Maybe when they are more clear with their distinctions, I can give them their proper names. For now, they are simply known as bishies.

Nod nod.

Anyway, this episode is slightly less on laughs, even though the ending saved it with hilarious craziness with Sunako turning into the cynical chibi mode. I really like Sunako because she is so morbid and so reluctant to even see her own face until it becomes silly. Many of her morbid ideas as well as the Sadako parodies when she was in the POWER RANGERS mode….Ermm, I mean when she kicked the ass out of those dark skinned girls was simply a classic. I laughed when she owned those girls with her crazy fighting. Man, low self esteem is so moeeee~

Slapstick humor rocks. It is making me really enjoy this show a lot. Even the strange bishie character design works for me. So long for episode 3!

BEST LAUGH INDUCING SHOW FOR EPISODE 1 UP TO DATE.

This might be the most LOL-inducing anime if they keep going at this. I kept laughing until I was shut up by my parents because the ridiculous dumbness and all the hilarious situations made me die from spontaeous bouts of insanity LOL-ing. I nearly died with my lungs at full use, trying to control and hold in my very loud laughter.

Oh man, the guist of the story is about a “ugly girl” that is supposed to stay over at her auntie’s house, where four pretty boys are staying. Before the ugly girl comes over, the aunt told the boys that if they can make her a respectable lady, the rent will be waived. This is probably the tale of changing her to a beautiful lady or something to that extent.

I was actually a bit reluctant to download the series, especially after a few bad reviews, saying that the anime completely butchered the manga. However, since I do not read the manga, I found the series to be possibly the best series for a good comedy. The show clearly does not take itself too seriously and I love it quite a bit actually.

Character

Characters are troublesome, so I will name them Red bishie, Black Bishie, Kiddie Bishie, Blond Bishie. It’s easy to tell the difference according to their hair. Nod, The Bishies are all the same to me.

>_>

<_<

Yes, I am not taking this show seriously. There is another morbid and ghostly girl called Sunako and she is the niece that they need to change her image. I probably do an episode summary later, but for now, this show rocks my socks off.

--------------------

Episode summary

A girl called Sunako was seen to be rejected as she was considered to be too ugly. After that, we see four bishies in a garden waiting for a girl. It seemed that they had a plan in which their landlord would waiver their rental fees if they were able to change her niece to a lady but would have to pay thrice the amount if they failed. As they saw a rustling of the leaves, they thought that it was a cat but kiddie bishie started to have sweatdrops when they realize there was a goth, ghostly woman that popped out.

It was Sunako. She was extremely scary and morbid, scaring the hell out of the bishies. She also feared beautiful people, as she would start to nosebleed and the likes and she seemed to have an extremely low self esteem. As she locked herself in her room, all of them were figuring what to do.

They then bought some food for her but she only grabbed it and closed the door once again. Blond bishie then got angry and screamed at her, scaring her quite a bit. The other bishies thought that she might have a fear of gals but she did not say the reason, simply locking them out as she tried to escape.

As she escaped out of the house, she was starting to be ostrachized as a ghost and was surrounded by others as she was chased and eventually fell. However, blond bishie got her from the masses and dragged her home, telling her that she did not have to leave home because he scolded her.

After that, the bishies were having trouble cooking, chopping their finger and burning the kitchen down. Sunako took a knife and was ready to murder them, as well as the fish but in fact, she was a good cook and the guys started to growl. After eating, they were glad as blond bishie tried to rape her…i mean see her face and see how ugly she was.

After dragging her all around, she knocked onto some flour as she turned and everyone saw her face. She actually looked very pretty. After wiping her face, the real state of her face was seen as her skin was completely dry, with her lips bleeding and the likes.

She then turned even more morbid and suspicious as the aunt called to ask about Sunako. The blond bishie said that everything was in progress until he saw her in a strange death reaper robe as the bishies gathered to figure out how to change her into the PERFECT LADY.

————————————–

Thoughts

This show is pure pwnage. I do not know why people in the manga hated it. They probably do, since I realize the series in which I have read the manga never seemed to be as bad in the anime. Still, I laughed my head off at this series for the most part. It is hideously insanely funny, with all the nosebleeds. Even the glitter for bishies become a parody of its own as it is made to look funny rather than annoying. Trust me, I am an anti-yaoi activist.

Nod nod.

Also, Sunako’s morbid behavior is just fricking amusing. She is like having all the creepy things in her room, making you think when she is normal and all, how she is. She is also stunningly pretty, and that is also why i wonder if she bothers with a goth image, she will look superb seriously. Wahahah, goth chick ftw @_@;;

The many LOL scenes, such as the pseudo “erotic rape” scene was classic, ejecting me into various bouts of crazy laughter. Man, this show is great stuff. For any one who wants a good comedy to laugh your head off and simply relax, go watch this.

It’s so laughable (not the plot) and the slapstick functions work flawlessly. Hohohoh`
