I agree whole heartedly, Remi-san. Ink-chan’s adventures bring joy to my life too.

Moetan has become like a necessary drug to relieve my rage when I watch School Days. It is so infectiously happy, cute, and bright compared to the oppressive fanservice, unimaginative uniforms, and stupidity of School Days. Even Nao-kun does not seem so annoying, then again he’s not a harem lead. That’s Ink-chan’s role. Remi x Ink-chan 4TW!

Terrified Ink-chan is so cute. I remember when I stayed up all night on the first night of camping. I have to say Remi-san is the most unassuming looking loli-con I have ever seen. Normally your loli-con is a doormat obsessed with washboards and small statures, like Saito in his nerfed form in ZnT II. Remi, however, can more innocently fondle Ink-chan and harass Sumi-chan. It doesn’t even look creepy it looks motherly… Even if guys did this sort stuff to shoutas we’d probably get arrested or elected president of Russia, I am looking at you Putin. Rina-san is no slouch either I liked the way she flattered Sumi-chan enough to snag a free vacation. Good to know that she is athletic and smart. As for Nao-kun, he must really like games since having two lolis vie for his affections and a free vacation with all woman Remi and the talented Rina should have garnered more enthusiasm but I guess not. Either that or he hides it real well.

All hail Remi-san queen of Loli-cons! No one would ever suspect…

Well okay one person suspects, but that’s not he point…Incidentally I am also curious at what machinations Remi-san is thinking about.

Despite being granted a free vacation Ink-chan and Nao-kun are still hammering away at english which is good since I advocate the do all work first before vactioning doctrine. Nao-kun tries to hide his “interest” in Ink-chan from Pastel Ink, but he has much to learn. Still he likes short people so Ink-chan has a chance! Conversely Ink-chan has a kissy face that is unsettlingly similar to the hated Makato Itou’s, but since she looks so adorable it doesn’t look nearly as grotesque. Pastel Ink also now shows Nao-kun how proficient she is in Crav MaDuck…

See Even Ink-chan knows that swinging a duck in random directions can ward off sexual assault. You paying attention School Days girls?!

The next day Ink-chan is late, but Sumi-chan is fashionably late. Turns out sleepy Sumi-chan is Ruriko-san’s puppet. Sumi-chan also dreams about being in Space War I in a perpetual struggle against Zentradi. There is only one word to describe Sumi-chan and her love of Macross, MOEEEEE! I love how Ruriko is able to pull the strings one her “master.” It’s a cool dynamic since serving is not a primary concern but keeping Sumi-chan in check can only help Sumi grow into a worthy Oujo-sama.

Uh, Sumi-chan your not piloting a VF-1 Valkyrie…and that’s not a flight suit.

So the gang has a lot of fun at the pool though I swear Remi-san got bigger, in a bad back breaking sort of way. Ink-chan being very conservative deciding to don bathing garb that made her look more like a kid than even the actual kid… Nao-kun simply slept while the rest of the gang were having fun. Dude must enjoy his sleep or he must have hidden cameras about…

Miho-san is a loli-con too, duh…

Things however turn out to be much more interesting in Sumi-chan villa. While Remi and Rina are cowering in fear after seeing a ghost, Ink and Sumi take a bath together. Turns out back in the day they were even lolier. Aa-Kun and Ka-kun try to spy on them but are found out. I hypothesize that Sumi has no real interest in Nao-kun, but is far more interested in Ink since she’s much more tsun-tsun around Ink. If there wre any bdoubts that this was not a loli-con show this is all the proof one needs. Now if you’ll excuse me for a bit I need to perform a ritual cleansing.

Ruriko-san is such a bad lair, even she has to admit that Tempera Sumi is kawaii…maybe she is a lolicon just like Remi-san.

The lights go out and strange things start to happen. Taking the initiative Tempera Sumi and Pastel Ink charge forth to save the day. The pervert in the trench coat helped a bit too. I like how Aa-kun tried to get paid for his help too bad he gets caught by Ink-chan. Yeah stealing is wrong, but hey not many can resist having a gold bullion in plain sight. Drunk Ruriko-san is a happy drunk perhaps the truth serum does work after all since she seems to like petting Sumi-chan. Hopefully drunk Ruriko is going to grace us with her presence in the near future. Not sure why the ghost went home with Ink-chan, but this isn’t a series where logic holds a lot of water. We know that Aa-kun was a handsome dude, but I wonder what the hack does Ka-kun look like, what if Ka-kun was a she and not a he?

You know Ink-chan its better to piss on people rather than be pissed on. (Yes this picture is so wrong yet funny at the same time kinda like Post Colonial Africa)

So I just completed my one weekend a month commitment and separated myself from my 360. I have no idea what conscript Impz is doing for his 1 week thing, but I had fun shooting 9mm pistol rounds at mental image of Makoto. At any rate I just got the sub of Moetan 2 so I guess its back to work while Impz is chilling in his air conditioned tent…

In the blackest of night stalks an evil creature that the loli-con duck barely senses, in fact such is his laxity that he sneezes all over Ink-chan in a rather disturbing way. Next morning Kuroi Sumi, or more affectionately known as Sumi-chan friend of Ink, is fast asleep on a school day. Seems Sumi-chan is not much of a morning person and is predisposed to wearing a cat suit for her jammies. Thankfully for Sumi-chan she has a loyal servant ever at her side the newest graduate of the Mad Dog Meido University, Ruriko-san.

I see you wish to have a rocket fight. Hey no melee!

Being the loyal awesome meido that she is Ruriko-san spares no opportunity to discipline her charge be it tossing her out of bed, stepping on her tail or just whacking her over the head. Ruriko is an advocate of tough love. Sumi-chan takes a detour on her way to school to Nao-kun’s house where she sees Ink-chan waiting at his door step after an abrupt stop that sends Sumi-chan to the floor (she does not believe in seat belts) she debarks and hides behind a phone pole.

Ink-chan being the luckless adorable thing that she is again fails to walk with Nao-kun to school. In class Sumi-chan proves that while she has an ahoge that is mood reactive she still has much to learn. It’s around this time that we see how deluded she is in her rivalry with Ink-chan; apparently Sumi-chan blames Ink-chan more than people blame America.

Tempera Sumi roll out! No cosplay after nine. I said NO COSPLAY AFTER NINE!

Ink is later called upon to save a man in need, however it turns out this incident was <strike>an Impz</strike> a trap. A really evil kitty starts firing SSMs at the loli-con duck and what he presumes is a preschooler. The loli-con duck invokes the power of imaginary support and sends kitty packing.

Sumi-chan who had witnessed Ink transforming is now flushed with victory tries to get her groove on with Nao-kun. Nao-kun like any unwitting attractor of attention tells Sumi-chan that he has no time for kids and needs to go get a new game, Dragon Quest Swords. Sumi-chan promptly blames <strike>America</strike> Ink-chan. However content that she now has Ink-chan’s secret she walks away rather self assured. Ink-chan wonders if there are any consequences for letting Sumi-chan know that she is indeed Pastel Ink, much to her relief there are none.

Ink-chan then goes off to tutor Nao-kun who swiftly tries to make a pass on her. Embarrassed and overwhelmed Ink-chan insists that he start studying. Meanwhile Sumi-chan goes on a victory parade and encounters the kitty that had attacked Pastel Ink. The two are kindred spirits so they cut a deal. Sumi-chan becomes a magical girl and the kitty gets labeled Ka-kun. Ka-kun is also a Loli-con as his nose bleeds while he watches Sumi-chan transform. Hence forth Sumi-chan will be saving people and blaming Ink-chan under the guise of Tempera Sumi.

Ruriko-san does not approve and smacks Tempera Sumi for a bit, saying that her cosplaying is disturbing the neighbors. While Sumi-chan is getting disciplined Ink finds out that she is basically earning points so that Aa-kun can go back home. However Ink-chan has a fatal weakness for cake and drops the matter.

These teenage lolis are a handful always fighting. It makes me so angry…

Impression: I like how Ink-chan is a bit more aware of how Aa-kun is always leering at her. While I lament the lack of subs for Mononoke, Moetan at least has proven to be one of the better bets this season for me. I hope Ruriko-san gets some more screen time as combat meido is a nice addition to break up the loli-con fodder. I pity her lot in life forever waiting on a child and her loli-con cat, at least she isn’t serving some worthless doormat. I like Sumi-chan’s mood sympathetic ahoge, makes her much less annoying, even endearing. Her life motto however needs to change; “don’t forget” lacks punch and staying power.

That being said while the lack of Kevlar in her out fit is deplorable I don’t have much against it. It seems that Sumi-chan’ opposition to Ink-chan is highlighted by the buttons on Ink-chan’s uniform and the zippers on Sumi-chan’s. It also shows in how Tempera Sumi has a red and black get up as opposed to Pastel Ink’s blue and white. Hopefully the fun continues in the best mahou shoujo parody in my recent memory. As for this Aa-kun and Ka-kun sub plot I hope its nothing even remotely serious, however I can rest assured since cats with anti-tank rockets is about as non-serious as you can get.

Don’t cry Ink-chan I haven’t forsaken you.

After waiting seemingly forever for the download to finish I finally got to see Moe-tan for the first time and not feel stupid. Suffice to say the Loli-con overtones in this show get heavy at times, but I assume that its all in good fun. In any case the show oozes cuteness all around if the characters were real I would probably hug them to death between my arms and my Interceptor Body Armor.

Some dude named Arcs is standing trial and pleads his innocence; however since he soon escapes he is obviously GUILTY. He soon gets kicked into a black hole by The King, who sneaks behind him and gives him a hash brown before giving him a polite kick.

While at this point I think I may be watching the wrong show we finally meet our heroine Nijihara Ink, an adorable high school kid whom puberty has long since forsaken. She has a bad habit of tripping and falling on her kawaii face, but she has a motto that everyone should aspire, “I won’t cry.” Preach it Ink-chan! She goes off to the house of her most favored suitor, Nao-kun, in an effort to walk with him on the way to school, she gets cold feet and ends up flat one her face while Nao-kun goes off on his merry way.

Ink finally gets to class and she begins talking to Nemi-chan and Mina-chan about her comedic morning. Seeing how Ink needs something to cheer her up they bring in Nao-kun and promptly leave the class. Ink-chan gets tongue tied, but being the good bloke that he is Nao-kun places a band aid one her wounds. The teacher come and we also so learn that Ink-chan is as smart as she is kawaiiiiiiii.

PE class starts and Ink-chan begins playing basket-dodge ball with Sumi-chan. Seems Sumi-chan has also been forsaken by puberty and doesn’t want to play nice with Ink-chan, must be repressed yuri feelings. After classes end Ink-chan is devastated with Nao-kun’s lack of motivation to got to higher education crushing her dreams of being more than friends in college. Taking matters into her own hands she goes off to a shrine to pray for Nao-kun’s test scores. Then out of the sky falls a duck that can talk! However it soon passes out and like any kind hearted otome Ink-chan brings it back to her room.

The creature finally comes to and reveals that it is or rather was Arcs <strike>the Lad.</strike> After being called Vanilla Ice and cooking magic like bacon, Arcs figures out his mandatory trial given to him by The King. Arc is going to do something special for Ink-chan, he’s going to make her a magical girl. Sadly Ink-is only allowed to use low level magic so she can’t grow up or bust out. After getting her magical interface and setting her voice command transformation sequence Ink transformes into a hero for great justice, Pastel Ink.

Arcs gets a mouth full of drool while looking on and Ink presses him about looking at her in an indecent way. Arcs, being a real loli-con, denies this and gets smitten for his insolence into the glass. When Pastel Ink decided to fly to Nao-kuns house, her flying device proves most deficient. The infernal wings attach in an area that is way lower than her lower back, but it flies just the same. Going faster than a speeding bullet she gives Nao-kun an aerial t-bag.

After introducing her self as Pastel Ink uber tutor Nao kicks her out. Pastel Ink turns on her lost puppy face and after two attempts gains entry. Nao-kun needs help in Engrish English and Ink-chan is more than able to help him. Given that Ink-chan is now magical Nao-kun seems to feel fuzzy around her, it must be love. this glorious moment however is brought to a swift end when Arcs finds Nao-kun’s p0rn stash. Poor Ink-chan becomes scarred for life sine Nao-kun is into some freaky stuff. Arcs continues with his unwarranted search and seizes an innocuous figurine. Nao-kun’s reaction reveals that there is indeed more than meets the eye. Ink-chan then inadvertently takes off its top.

Crushed and humiliated Nao-kun gives them the boot and even goes as far as tossing out Ink-chan’s new shoes. While Ink-chan has her bath interrupted by a perverted duck some new character shows up for one second.

Impression: Sorry it took so long but I had a kawaii overload…I think I am okay now. I guess its good that they didn’t lay one the engrish in high amounts, but the loli-con jokes were great. Even if Arcs the loli-con duck leers at Ink with impure thoughts I will continually have a sensory overload from her leg with thigh high and the other with loose sock combo. As for her mode of flight, I have heard of flying asses but she’s to genki for the Air Force.

Only the truly evil would have no desire to be part of this hug.

Still the exposure of the shoulders is something I find a bit odd though I am not complaining I guess its a more constructive place to conserve cloth as opposed to a really short skirt. I really like the OP which I assume is the ED for this episode it’s very kinetic. I hope they keep up the laughs and the cuteness. While I like her magical girl outfit I still have reservations about he use of spandex. Its not armor, all magical girl outfits should be made of kevlar, just a pet peeve of mine. Ink is so adorable even if she is in high school she’s one of the most respectable heroines in her age bracket. Don’t cry Ink-chan this black hearted Imperial Trooper is rooting for you.

Next time I assume that Sumi-chan is going to be inducted into the Mahou Shoujo Guild.
