Since April just won’t come fast enough, I’ve decided to start my own feature or two here so that I have something to blog until the new season rolls around. I also figured that I’d need something to fill the gaps in April while I wait for all the shows I’m interested in to come out. With that in mind, I’ve created the “Friday Ramble”.

The basic premise of the FR (as I’ll be referring to it out of laziness) is pretty straightforward. While browsing around the site, I noticed that there are some shows I watch (some of them quite popular) that were either never blogged, or have been dropped by their previous authors. Now, I don’t intend to pick these up and blog them seriously, but it wouldn’t hurt to drop a quick summary/opinion and a couple of screens for them would it? I didn’t think so.

So, in short, the FR is a bulk blog on a few ongoing series, and maybe a few series that I missed but have been checking out recently. Quick, to the point, but just enough to show you that I (kinda) care. This week, read on for: BLEACH, NARUTO, ROSARIO + VAMPIRE, and D.GRAY-MAN!

Bleach 164: Grimmjow Pees a Little

Obligatory Summary: Renji and Mr. Quincy continue their battle against Szayel. Renji goes all kamikaze to keep him distracted while Ishida does some crazy pentagram Quincy nonsense, suprising Szayel and causing him immense amounts of damage. Like usual, the heroes get cocky thinking they’ve won, but when the smoke clears, Szayel is still alive. Szayel then proceeds to chow down on one of his subordinates like he’s a good Subway sandwich, but instead of losing ten pounds, his wounds fully recover from all damage sustained up until this point. If I were him, I know there’d be a cocky “What now, bitch!?” running through my head. After he’s had his fill and recombed his hair, Szayel tells Renji and Ishida that he’s going to go change his clothes because it’d be embarrassing to fight in his torn up attire.

Meanwhile, Grimmjow brings Inoue to where Ulquiorra left Ichigo either dead or pretty damn close to it. Nel crawls out of the rubble of the fight and starts whining. Grimmjow hears my plea and tells Nel to STFU or he’ll blow her into tiny kibbles ‘n’ bits. Inoue has been direct by Grimmjow to use her powers to heal Ichigo because he wants him at 100% so he can kick Ichigo’s ass, and that he wants it done before Ulquiorra finds out what’s up. Right as he utters the words, Arrancar numero 4 shows up and Grimmjow shits his pants.

Afterthoughts: The animation this episode was great (see pic #5 above), and the battle between Renshida and Szayel was pretty intense. Inoue and Ichigo meet face to face again finally, and next week looks like it’ll start the showdown between Ichigo and Grimmjow. I’m loving this arc, but word is they’ll be going into a filler arc sometime next month. Anyone else think Inoue in the whole “I’m a captive” getup (see pic #3 above) is hawt? 4/5

Naruto Shippuuden 50: More of the usual

Episode Overview: Run run run run run run run. Everyone gets tired and takes a nap. Sai draws pictures in his book, homoeroticism is all over the place. Snake-man shows up to stop Sai from hitting on Naruto. Naruto gets mad and tells Sai to go find Sasuke while he “distracts” Snake-man. Lengthy flashback #1. Tree-guy and Sakura arrive to help Naruto distract the Snake-man. Intent on the destruction of emotionless clowns, Snake-man runs off after Sai. Sai finds Sasuke sleeping…oh yes, you know what happens next. Shake well and pour on top of lots of staring.

So here’s a list of things I didn’t see coming this week:

Running…since when do characters in Naruto run? And for that long?

Naruto struggling to stand after he trips. I’m mean, I know he probably can’t read or spell, but he should at least be able to pick himself up off the ground without help.

Sakura saying something involving the words “But” and “Sasuke”. ie: “But <strike>I wish Sasuke was my lover!</strike> we have to find Sasuke right away!”

Sai deciding that even though they were desperately trying to find Sasuke before Orochimaru appears, now would be a good time to get out his coloring book. Stay in the lines Sai! You wouldn’t want to disappoint the 0 people who love you!

Naruto to use two new attacks: Shadow Clones and Rasengan…oh wait…

This wasn’t the worst Naruto episode I’ve ever seen by far, but let’s face it, it’s still Naruto. Why do I watch it? I love making fun of it…and when they do have an actual battle going, it’s pretty entertaining. 2/5

Rosario + Vampire 09 & 10: It finally gets pretty badass

I was looking around to see if some of these shows already had bloggers, and I noticed that Calawain was blogging R+V, but dropped it around episode 4. I can’t blame him for that, the only thing that kept me from dropping it was the fact that I couldn’t get enough of “Moka-san…Tsukune…Moka-san…Tsukune…Moka-san…Tsukune…Kappachu!” So I’ve sat it out through the formulaic episodes hoping that maybe, just maybe, the show will go somewhere. Enter episode 9…

If you dropped this show, or don’t know whether or not watch it…at least go watch episodes 9 and 10. Holy crap they were badass. The group takes a summer trip to the human world and encounters a crazy witch. Amongst the beach scenes and camping scenes, there’s a TON of action, everyone gets their moment to shine, and Moka doesn’t just 1-shot everything with a kick. The production value is insane, and…seriously, I was NOT expecting anything remotely on this level from this anime. 5/5

GO WATCH NOW! Warning: if you don’t appreciate made crazy action sequences or panty-shots, don’t waste your time.

D.Gray-Man 74: Lenalee is tasty

I’ll admit, there was a point in time where I dropped D.Gray-man…episode 25. How’d I make it this far? A combination of episode summaries and IRC downloads. I skipped episodes 26-51, reading the episode summaries from various sites so I wouldn’t be totally lost, then picked the show back up at episode 52, where the real action started to kick in. 52+ is like watching a whole new anime. Everyone powers up, the plot actually gets pretty serious, and people start dying left and right.

Right now, there’s a massive showdown going on between The Earl/Noah and the remaining exorcists in Edo (Tokyo). Allen has achieved 100% compatibility with his Innocence and finally arrived in Edo to throw down against the Earl. At long last, we get to see Allen actually do something in his Crowned Clown King form, and we no longer have to worry about Lavi trying to mack on Allen’s woman. Hah! 4/5

Wow, it’s amazing how long first posts take. Especially something like this where there are so many different ways to do things and so many different ideas to sort through. I know this post is long, but it’s made with the idea that you’ll only read the segments you’re interested in. If you read it all, that’s your fault.

Please, give any feedback you can. What you liked/didn’t like, which image style you liked best, etc. The Friday Ramble is an ongoing experiment, so expect constant change…it’s my way of working out new ideas for the regular posts I’ll be doing come Spring.

I know that Christmas’ over, but Santa Cross is watching…

Note to readers: I will not be posting this week because of school work on Wednesday and Thursday and it’s also that Japan is not going to show D.Gray Man either due to the New Year’s Celebration programmes they have there. So bear with it and currently no pictures for Episode 64 for DGM because it’s not subbed yet. (Watch it on TV in my country, they have it and completely subbed.). And a happy New Year to all people around the world, goodbye 2007, hello 2008.

And moving on to Episode 61, Allen gets back to training with Fou for a while before showing the other Exorcists moving to Edo. Then it moves on to Lenalee thinking through all the struggles she had gone through and losing Allen and Suman on her way (Don’t worry, no full naked bodies and fanservice). After that, she asked Anita for something to tie her hair with and she passed Lenalee what her mother left behind before she died: Two golden hair clips. More of Anita’s past on how she get to know and love Cross until the fight begins when a Level 3 Akuma attacked Lavi (Who was deep in thought at the deck.) And the fight begins, Lavi gets injured a lot, not much answers are given by that Level 3 and Lenalee takes over the show…

I think Lenalee looks cuter with her hair untied, and we won’t be seeing the hair of hers for long at Episode 63-34 anymore…enzymes and proteins…

I’m too young to die!!!

Episode 62 is pretty much depressing where Lenalee starts fighting with the Level 3 Akuma in the middle of the sea. Lenalee and Miranda’s Innocence are being a bit useless because of the attack the Level 3 added but Lenalee’s case is much more serious than Miranda’s. Meanwhile with Lavi and the others the ship began to sink and most of the crew get killed and revived (And except 3 of them are still alive and kicking protected by Lavi, but we go on to that in Episode 64 in a while). Lenalee’s Innocence gets powerless and then she sinks down to the bottom of the sea and flashbacks were seen, probably in episode 40-50 (I’m not so sure, but then Allen’s still with the others). Allen’s left eye gets weird, moving on its own, it’s pretty creepy looking at the eye of his moving around randomly. Allen then realized that Lenalee and the others are at danger, but he can’t join them, because of obvious reasons if you watch episodes 59-61. Lenalee reminded herself not to give up/die and push her Innocence to the limit. Turning back to the ship, Lavi is being shot by an Akuma hiding behind the clouds and Krory rushes into the water to save him by sucking the Akuma blood that resides in Lavi. Lavi later got pretty afraid that he might turn into a vampire which also helps Krory get his energy back to fight (Win-win situation). They continued fighting but I won’t be going to the fights in detail but back with Lenalee, she put her Innocence into full avocation and then charges with the attack, creating an atomic bomb explosi-, I mean, explosion, a big explosion. The Level 3 dies, and the curse seal that resides in Lenalee and Miranda disappears, turning into red snow…

We won’t be seeing this hair this long again and the glare…Lenalee rocks!

It’s a win-win situation, Lavi. You’re NOT going to be turn into a vampire, trust me.

And then Krory gets exhausted after giving his blood to 3 Level 2 Akumas.

Half of Episode 63 is a rip off from the previous episode, and I’ll be going on to the other half. The fight is over but Lenalee is nowhere to be found after the explosion and Lavi insist on going out to the sea to find her, but everyone stops him from going anywhere probably it’s not safe for him to be stuck in the middle of the sea in case of any attacks from an Akuma or maybe going too far away might trigger his injuries from the fights. Miranda went on insisting that Lavi should stay and wait for any news but arguing back, Lavi calls the shots to find Lenalee, and paying the price of finding her will also trigger Lavi’s injuries back to him when he gets further. Timcampy left the crew lights later and Lavi found a Level 2 Akuma carrying a large crystal with much difficulty with Lenalee inside (With her long hair ripped off). At first Lavi does not trust the Akuma at first but after Tim came and landed on the Akuma, Lavi began to trust him. The Akuma continued his speech, telling him that he’s an Akuma modified by Cross and help the people at the ship by making it balance so that they would not die from the fights…

The Human Caterpillar

Presenting to you an atomic bomb explosi- I mean, explosion, a really big one.

I wonder why you didn’t call more modified Akumas to help you carry Lenalee. Things would be so much easier.

And as I was saying, I don’t have pictures of Episode 64 because it’s not subbed, but I know what’s going on. Lenalee was found by a Akuma that happens to be siding with Cross and at first sight to the other crew, they would wanna attack him but the misunderstanding was clear after that. Bookman wonders why Lenalee’s Innocence would want to protect the user as for the other cases of the Exorcists that were killed, their Innocence does not protect the user, thinking that her Innocence has a will of its own. Lenalee breaks free from the crystal and paying the price of putting her Innocence into full avocation, her legs are not working properly but she is still optimistic as before. The Akuma then told the other Exorcists that Cross is now investigating the case in Edo, but also told the Exorcists to head back if they are a nuisance to him. The Exorcists then said in awe that Cross is doing his job (And not fooling around with women).

Where everything has turned back to normal and the sun rises, Miranda has a bad fatigue after the fights and Lenalee sitting with her. The Akuma then uses its full speed to get to Edo ASAP and Lavi commented that Akumas could be useful at times. Lenalee (With crutches) pays a visit to Anita’s room and gave one of the two hair clips back to her and apologizing that she couldn’t save the other hair clip that fell deep under the sea. She used the clip and cliped it in Anita’s hair and calling all the Exorcists to go up to the deck. Reaching to the deck, the ships looks empty and only thee Exorcists and some of Anita’s crew were there. Anita then explained that the rest of the crew are celebrating downstairs, doing what they want before their lives end without regrets, some of them also added to the Exorcists not to give up fighting against the Akumas. All of them soon left with the Akuma, Lenalee asking Anita to go with them but saying her last words, Miranda’s Innocence ceases its actions and Anita, Mahoja and the rest staying at the crew turned into ashes, Anita’s other hair clip fell into the sea. Back to Allen and the rest in the Asian Branch, Allen’s connections of his Innocence began to improve and beware of Fou’s evil glare, Allen almost succeed but fail. Everything then goes back to Lenalee to the next episode…

Episode 61-64 thoughts:
After what everyone has gone through, I think episodes 61-64 of D.Gray Man does not waste much time to do things, unlike Dragonball Z and One Piece where the characters spend draggy filler episodes fighting tough enemies. The episodes also say a lot of words, as people say that actions speak louder than words. Most of it follows the manga and soon moving on to the Ark arc (The words sound the same.), it doesn’t get boring sticking to one thing for more than 5 episodes. One thing that make this anime sparks brightly is that even things are getting very serious, there are some funny moments, indicating the watchers not to get things too seriously. But the only thing that is lacking is on what’s happening in Tiedoll’s side. I haven’t been seeing him and his group for a while other than the omakes that happens frequently (Kanda mostly). But overall, it’s still good.

Have a happy New Year, and things won’t be the same again (That means I won’t be updating much due to school work and my procrastination.) Before I leave for the week, it;s good to show you omake pictures from Episode 61.

And this also means that Kanda is bad with cards and has a bad temper when he lose.

Sometimes I pity poor Bak dear….he seems to be a punching bag to Allen and Fou…

Sorry I haven’t been updating for some time now, it just that I’m busy with many things in school lately, mostly band practice. Wait till tomorrow and then things will resume to normal for me. I’ll be reviewing Vampire Knight Chapter 33 and more things later on in the blog.

Today’s episode wasn’t such a letdown, but the only thing that I’m disappointed in is that Lenalee and the others heading to Edo won’t be appearing in this episode, but they would be appearing in the next one.

More explaination of Equipment and Parasitic type Innocence is being explained, on the differences (Aside from the different amount of food between an Exorcist who has a Parasitic type weapon and a Equipment type weapon). Not to spoil the fun, I would let the people who has not watched the episode to watch it NOW. But for those who had, good for you. Bak’s crush on Lenalee is also showed but Allen didn’t go on asking him on the pictures, but more on that will come later in future episodes (In the manga, it’s already explained that Bak has a crush on Lenalee and keeping this a secret from Komui.) Poor thing that Allen was being called a weapon for once but anyway he’s still human. And that Hitler look-a-like inspector in the manga, how dare he called the Exorcists as sacrifices of God (a.k.a weapons, it could be coded out.) Allen had better learnt more about his Innocence ASAP, or else he could say goodbye to the world, the Black Order, everyone in the world and the Akuma will be taking over the world…..

Someone!!!! Get Nurse Wong to treat Bak’s injuries ASAP!!! Bak looked as if he’s going to faint from anemia and he’s damn scary!(Close eyes)

Plan B was going to plan as Fou came out of the invisible path and went chopping off Walker’s head. When Wong agree he sounded as if he needed to go to the washroom very badly and I almost laughed at that scene (Spit out bits of Mamee Noodle snacks), and I went ‘hahaha’ inside my head. Allen looked as if he has bangs on his right side (Allen’s right, viewers’ left) and I’ve heard people commenting in YouTube saying that he looked like Mario (Video game). I half-agreed with the part when the people commented on saying that he looked funny but I disagreed that he looked like Mario. Take a look at the picture (Below):

Don’t you think Allen looked funny here? And I don’t think he looked like Mario.

But anyway, enough of that picture above as it made no differences in the storyline. Getting on to more training, Fou kept hack-and-slash Allen and I’m making this sound like a video game genre (For hack-and-slash), but it’s true. But after slashing Allen, we go on to the cafeteria, Lou, Rikei and Shifu encountered problems getting a seat since there are too many people in the Branch but eventually get seats with Allen as he went on eating his meal like a hungry ghost. Lou still went on with her ’strike’ and would be Lavi’s protege one day probably after the Earl and his army of Akuma are defeated. Lou still went on being lovey-dovey, stuck in her mind of hers. All that food Allen’s eating is making me RV go hungry (Noodles….dumplings…puffs…meatballs…can’t resist temptation!!!) and the three went on with the good food Jeryy cooked for the Black order, and I was shocked that Shifu/Rikei (Ok, I’m confused here, which is which?) is making everyone in the Branch who eats good food die quickly, and telling them that they’re days are numbered so when they die they would have no regrets in the Afterlife. (Sounds like a curse, but let’s move on with life.)

Ehem, maybe this sounds more like a curse than a blessing…(Gorging myself to eat good food)

Then after eating and doing some calculations at a research room, the threesome went sneaking out to the training room where Allen and Fou are training. They get to look at the both of them dual but almost got caught by Fou if the two guys haven’t stop Lou from shouting at Allen when he was in danger of getting his head sliced off. And after all that training for 10 hours (It’s not mentioned in the anime, but was mentioned in the manga), Fou went back to sleep and the threesome got punished by dear Bak. (RV’s head got knocked by Bak when calling him ‘dear’.)

Komui went on calling Bak ‘dear’ (Got snapped by Bak dear himself), General/Marshall (In the fansubs) Cloud and Winters are back at the HeadQuarters and was pretty disappointed that Cloud sounds more masculine than feminine, which I thought since she was a caring person, she should sound a little more femenine. It wasn’t what I thought of her to be like she’s stalking the Exorcists that defended her till they were killed. But not changing the storyline, more training with Allen and FOU!!! (Erg, I wish I could see something new, like what’s going to happen to Lenalee and the others but will be shown in the next episode)

Next episode, we’re going to see Lenalee and the others heading to Edo but before that, fighting against a Level 3 Akuma in the middle of the sea, and we’re going to see Lenalee’s beautiful hair being cut into some unkempt and short hair of hers for the rest of the series (Or not).

Omake: Allen is very happy that Kanda did not appear in the recent episodes of D.Gray Man, which leaves Kanda mad when Allen looked as if he was laughing at him. Winters and Cloud are having tea at the waiting corner (cliche, che!) so nothing special…Anyway, it’s time to shut off the computer.

Computer shut down countdown sequence in 5…4…3…2…1… (All systems shut down)

I’ve finished watching the episode, and I have seen something very interesting:

1. In this entire episode, Bak or who ever the person is kept saying God and this annoys me. I hope this show won’t turn out into some show which has a lot of debating issues on religion later on. But I’ll just leave it to the manga-ka to explain the story further in the manga.

2. Jeryy; I mean, he’s supposed to be in the Headquarters right? Why is he here in the Asia Branch (Unless he used some kind of teleporter, which is impossible in the timeline of D.Gray Man. It’s the 17th/18th century, man. Or he had some kind of superpower which makes him run fast to the Headquarters to the Asian Branch like the Flash, but I think that would be almost impossible. He’s not an Exorcist, so forget about him having superpowers.)

I was thinking if the Ark is available, but since the Ark hasn’t been show in the show yet, I leave that one out, too.

And let’s get on this week’s episode (Or not. I’m such a slow anime watcher):

Wong should rather be a male nurse than an assistant to Bak, don’t ‘cha think? And I don’t think Bak needs an assistant either. He’s okay all by himself.

The episode started when Allen realized that he’s still alive after badly beaten by a Noah and runs off before Wong comes to aid Allen in the bandages (Mumbling that he’s going to be in trouble if Bak finds out that he does not treat Allen on time). After entering the room, all he saw was a missing Allen and Fou who just woke up finding herself to find Allen with Wong.

Many new characters were introduce (For those who haven’t read the manga you would find this new but for the others who read it it’s not big deal to you. After all, (censored what am I was about to say), it looks like you have to read the manga by yourself if you have not. There were serious scenes, there were funny scenes and there were weird scenes (One of them is Jeryy. I wonder how he got there…).

Let’s start with the serious scene here, shall we? Allen runs away, trying to get out of the Branch until Bak comes in to give Allen a bit of hope to continue to serve the Black Order (Or the Black Religion. But I’ll stick to Black Order, ’cause it sounds nice to my ears.) in the supportive department but there is still hope for Allen to recover his left arm.

This must be the latest way to write to people who owe debts to loan sharks/creditors. I don’t see a path here, Allen. (But I know that it’s a path.)

At the above picture, no spoilers for those who have not read the manga yet. It’s a path, an invisible path.

And coming to the much less serious scenes, Fou finally kicked Bak’s ass and he deserves it. I have a suggestion, but after the Exorcists have defeated the Earl, and if Kanda hasn’t had a girlfriend or still alive, he and Fou should date. After all, they have some things in common. 1. They’re foul-mouth, 2. Both of them are short-tempered. While Kanda on his side is calm and does not talk much, Fou is agitated very easily and can talk as much as she could at Bak.

Fou, I don’t think you’ve learn some manners yourself, and scolding Allen and Bak is already enough. What, is Allen going to say good morning to you when you’re sleeping, that will make Allen wear a dunce cap if he does that, and by the way Fou, Allen’s not dead yet, he’s not having amnesia or infected with mad-cow disease. Besides adding Bookman into a future fighting game, why don’t we add Bak Chan into it too? He can kick anyone’s ass as he wants to anytime. I might suggesting a Chinese type of sword to him if he’s into the game or choosing a weapon.

Woo, I think Lou’s going to become Lavi’s protege soon enough. With her saying ’strike’ in this episode, it might be possible.

But I’m still supporting Allen X Lenalee, Allen X Lou might not be possible. And then after the check-up, Allen once again goes back into his never-say-die habit of eating a lot of food at once. I envy Allen, ’cause my mum back at home is now controlling my everyday diet and I cannot eat anything that is fatttening (I want hamburger and fried chicken….).

RV: Allen, can I swop dishes with you?

Allen: (Thought for a while and turn to RV) Maybe not.

RV: :’(( (NOOOOO!!!!!!!)

I’m hungry, people. A bowl of noodles is not enough for me (Really!) and I’m currently having a Grape Mentos right now. I wish I can have that omelette rice, cha-han, hamburger, curry rice, rice…..or chicken flavor soba at least (I’m not becoming Kanda obessed)

Once, I got lost in a shopping mall, but this time, I’m really lost in this Branch!!! HELP ME!!!!

Okay, so I lied about the part that I got lost at the Asian Branch. Someone else got lost (Impz, maybe, or Extrange [RV: That's for calling me a loli!!!], but probably Crusader) but that’s not the point. The next thing Allen is going to see is his scattered Innocence which looked like mist covering the room and also explains the mist is ACTUALLY protecting Allen while Fou was lost in the forest carrying Allen back into the AB (Asian Branch) to protect him from any more danger. But when Allen was about to recover his Innocence weapon back into his hand the hand turned back to mist and Allen had a hard time getting it right. But the next episode the AB staff have other plans…

Meanwhile back at the ship, Lenalee is still worried about Allen and it’s so typical of Allen not to give up at the last moment. All protagonists are alike, like Sora from KH, Lloyd of Tales of Symphonia, Karin from Kamichama Karin (I’m still waiting for the subs for episode 18 and further), Eva Wei/Molly from Oban Star Racers but with a slight twist (Watching it in free-to-air television channel. Not going to spoil the fun of knowing what’s next) and many more (Maybe with the exception of Cloud and Squall Leonheart from Final Fantasy VII and VIII respectively. Both of them are emo protagonists.)

Before I announce the preview of the next episode, take a look at today’s omake:

And Kanda should enter a soba-eating contest (Covered in episode 54’s omake no. 2)

Next episode, Bak and the others from the AB are revealing Plan B: Fou attacking Allen to recover his Innocence like what he did to Mana when he was protecting himself before becoming an Akuma (Or demon in the subs). Two of the Generals, Cloud and Winters are back at the Headquarters after the Exorcists protecting them were killed.

Overview: Overall, this episode is not so bad. I’ve got nothing to say about it, I don’t judge things very well and well-informed with info. I hate the OP, but I like the ED. But I wonder how the anime is going to last, don’t want it to be like One Piece or Pokemon to go on forever. Pokemon already burst my brains, One Piece is never ending but I never watch it (My brother has been reading the manga for a while), I’m not a One Piece fan so stop clobbing at me if you are. I don’t like shows that are never ending, but I hope D.Gray Man won’t be one of them.

That’s must be it, Lenalee X Lavi, anyone? And I can see any second now one of them is going to fall off very soon… the pole’s look thin…

There are good news and bad news for the Exorcists in Asia. But first, the bad news (Or rather some good news now that Tim took Suman’s Innocence before he died.). Allen ‘died’, the ship’s rather torn and the Exorcists are now on the losing side now that Allen can’t fight for the time being. But then Tim lead Lenalee and Lavi to where Allen was ‘killed’ very badly and Lenalee’s becoming very emo now that she found out that Allen’s going to die anytime now and not able to join the others to fight the demons (Akuma). I know how the person feels like to hear that a close friend of ours is going to leave the world, it really hurts and I don’t blame Lenalee for being quiet. Lavi still insist of Lenalee to go on with life and doesn’t care about her feelings, but thanks to Grandpa Panda (a.k.a. Bookman), everything’s all Lavi’s fault.

I can see that X marks the spot, and Lenalee will always remember that Allen was this fat…

Lavi broke the window, Lavi get beaten up from Grandpa Panda, Lavi gets blamed at everything, Lavi get’s taunted by Mahoja, Lavi’s gonna pay all the damage…it’s all Lavi for this episode and don’t forget Miranda. Still clumpsy as ever, and for once I want to see a serious scene of Miranda, but failed as she slipped on the stairs after Lenalee found out that she has to say her final goodbye to Allen and fell into the sea (Must be very nervous after she used her Innocence to temporary ‘repair’ the ship.), and Lavi ended up saving her. (And I kind of like the new uniforms the Exorcists are wearing currently right after Miranda jumped into the sea out of nervousness)

You don’t need to get nervous, Miranda… (Falls into the sea) Sigh, Lavi, save her.

It surprised me that Miranda could stay awake for 10 days, since it takes 5 days to reach Edo and my guess is she must have drank too much coffee during her days at the Rewinding Town after she got fired from each job. If I were her I think I’ll fall into the sea deeper than her and even Lavi or the greatest underwater machine couldn’t save me back up to the surface. (And why she is one of my favourite character, she’s somehow like me, clumpsy) But I wonder if she can do some offence because her Time Record only rewinds time.

Sometimes you talk too much Lavi and I have came across with a contest to see who’s the most talkative chatterbox. Maybe you should sign up for it…

Then we hear Anita and Mahoja talking and hugging to each other (I hope this is not yuri, I hope…but it will never happen. No spoilers for those who haven’t read the manga.) and after Grandpa Panda has shown off his Panda Scratch move at Lavi, the next thing I see was Allen like a doll looking at the other side of the world with a black moon and only Lenalee was there covering her face, like as if she was weeping over everyone. Then Allen went back to reality, and found out that he’s still alive. The protaganist never dies, unless he’s going to end up like Spike from Cowboy Bebop and die just like that, and that’s the end of the show…

It looks like there’s more good news than bad news, which is good for most of us who are fans of Allen or D.Gray Man. Plus after the ED song ends and the preview of the next episode, you’ll see Miranda alone sitting on a plank-like thing and worrying about everyone. Guess she’ll never change… Seems that this episode follows (I think) exactly like the manga, Allen’s ‘death’, the arrival of Miranda and Allen ending up at the Asia Branch.

If another fighting game comes up, add Grandpa Panda in and he does really big and cool moves. Poor Lavi…got his head hit like that…
