Only Mio is the one who initiates and doles out the physical punishment, not exactly the battered wife I am afraid. You baying for Ritsu’s murder by Mio basically reveals your intent, isolating Mio getting her chained up in jail…etc. It’s best to just agree to disagree it’s already over man, let it go.

The same way battered wives are moral cowards, I suppose. There is no question that Mio is non- confrontational/sacredly cat but the only way to stop Ritsu’s distractions is to tap her on the head. I would have preferred Mio use the cleaver Higurashi method myself.

Anyway, look at what happened when Mio tried to make another friend in her class. Ritsu got insecure, passive agressive, went all emo and got “sick” for attention. Mio is just too nice to end their relationship.

Ritsu is just a barnacle that latched on to the first beautiful yet vulnerable ship that passed by.

Sure whatever you say…Mio hates Ritsu so much that they play in the same band, create the same club, Mio even gives Ritsu her songs first, and they have been together since kindergarden… but believe what you want comrade. My sarcasm meter is just fine your yuri meter seems busted though…

Mio had already signed up for another club (and away from Ritsu) until that overbearing forehead tore her application up and made her join the K-ON club.

Mio is a nice and shy girl. That’s why she hasn’t dropped that insecure loser ages ago. Heck, Mio even had to change her personality to deal with Ritsu’s incessant attention seeking behavior. Did you notice that Ritsu is the only person that Mio raises her hand towards?

Not enough music (I’m amazed at how easy it is to make rock music… you just need to ??? !), not enough yuri I think it’s a rhythm problem, if I’m not mistaken they crammed 2 school years in 13 episodes, even for a light slice of life anime that’s pretty “bold” (bad some would say…).

Last episode felt pretty boring, I think I fell asleep.

This captures my sentiments pretty much perfectly. I enjoyed the series, and loved the characters, but unfortunately the music seemed more like an add-on, than something central to the show. I mean they could’ve been in any kind of club and the show probably would’ve worked out all the same.
