hmm i haven’t gotten around to watching these eps yet, good to know i practically missed nothing, needs moar edy and marina, oh and for them to speak more too, as opposed to just for one episode

on a completely different subject, crusader, what say you regarding the Anime adaption of Gundam Unicorn thats due to be out soon?

I gave up hope of the anime living up the game long ago. I can finally watch the anime as its own thing and not hate it for being so bat-shit crazy different from the game I love.

If you can divorce the anime from the game it ends up being alright. And yes, Alicia is really the only reason to keep watching this regardless.

If such is indeed the case it may as well be a fanfic…even if you wanted to do a different interpretation there is no need for “interesting” new characters, hell the cast is full as is and they weren’t that fleshed out to begin with…

Crusader: It gets better. Dig this, the OTHER manga (remember, I mentioned there are 2 made for Valkyria) features two original characters that get recruited into Squad 7. Granted they’re less self-inserts than viewpoint characters, but I though the point of making a tie-in comic was to feature, y’know, the main characters of the source material?

Calawain and Crusader: Snooping around a bit, it would surprise you both to find out that the anime is NOT directly based on the game, but on the MANGA of the game. Haven’t found the time to actually read the translations, but there are two, and it seems that the anime is actually taking most of its material from the one penned by Kito En — which apparently diverges WILDLY (understatement of the year) from the events of the game.

Huh, that should be the case as in japanese, the engineer’s first name in Selvaria’s DLC has always been Karl. So, it is not surprising that they play “similar” roles.

Otherwise, your flying tank idea is pure genius! Completely fits with Isara’s dream of one day flying with her brother… Wonder why the game does not go that way…
