So while CB gloats over the capture of Revival it seems that Anew simply can’t shoot straight at point blank and misses Lasse’s face and gets him in the stomach instead. This was terribly disappointing as Anew could have at least shot him in the crotch for shits and giggles. It is still unknown why Anew did not shoot Feldt, but had she indeed loved Lyle you can be sure that Feldt would have been shot in the face, or because Anew is the one squeezing the trigger the stomach. Somarie tries to get a double kill but Jihad-kun tires to pull a kill steal while Lyle gets in the way like a newb during a team death match. Lyle proves how criminal he is by saving desu Yellow from a most well deserved fate. Revival some how mistook the O-Raiser for the Gundam 00, but jacks it anyway after pwning Ian who could not handle a rifle to save his old ass. Saji stood around being useless while for some strange reason Revival did not up his kill count by offing Ian and Saji…

Once inside the O-Raiser Revival is aghast at the prospect of having to pilot the thing using the Windows ME OS. Red Haro saves the day as Revival gets trapped in the O-Raiser which is forced to dock. Revival clearly for got that he had a gun and could have easily killed off the docked Red Haro, but for some strange reason he only remembered when blasting the controls. Lyle is too focused on Anew to notice that he had a clear shot at Revival, so the light purple twins make off, while Lyle fumes that Revival-nii san could sync his thoughts with his imouto Anew. As Lyle weeps over getting dumped Jihad-kun wanting to become a bigger dick starts mocking that loser Lyle over his rejection. Haptism realizes that he better start putting Plan B into motion as Soma is winning the battle over the Marie occupier. Turns out, Plan B is to start making love to Lasse’s comatose body so that Haptism could stay in the running for the HathawayxQuess Award for shitty Gundam couple. Ribbons gives Louise a gift and acknowledges that Louise is going to get what Wang could not and gets to be one of the first humans to undergo the transformation and so far she has received the Mucanoid, Larraman’s Organ, Omophagea, Occulobe, Secondary Heart, Biscopea, Oolitic Kidney, Preomnor, Haemastamen, Multi-ling, Lyman’s Ear, Sus-an Membrane, Bechter’s Gland, Ossmodula, Neuroglottis, Catalepsean Node, and Progenoids, though Louise still has yet to receive the Black Carapce. She also gets a new Mobile Armor Regnant which Revival has high hopes for as he missies Katie and Patrick to the point he starts to take on some of their traits.

Louise gets off to a good start almost raping Haptism twice and almost gets a kill on Tieria, and Somarie. Anew and Lyle go at it though since this is a weak sauce fight there isn’t any real dmage to speak of until Lyle goes Trans-Am and tries to tear off Anew’s Gadessa Custom in just to prove that the old serial rapist was still in him. Anew starts going Japanese school girl on us with her rape equals love thing after almost getting raped, but Ribbons brings it to a grinding halt as he was tired of the Lyle fantasy. Jihad-kun kill steals again, and kills off Anew after Lyle did all the hard work of beating her up and groping her. After the battle for some reason Car and Revival did not feel like beating the crap out of Ptolemy when it was undefended and left with Louise. Lyle starts a blanket party for Jihad-kun for kill stealing as the rest of the crew lines up to beat the crap out of that little traitor. Jihad-kun starts hearing Marina’s songs as he has suffered from long term GN Pixie dust abuse.

So it seems that Eej allowed some one to kareoke and we all had to LISTEN TO HIS SONG, well played though it was awful…should have gone with something from DMC so that Krauser II would come back. Well it seems that Anew could not shoot straight and neither could Nena, here was a chance to kill off a good number of the extras, but Sunrise sissied out in the end. Revival could have shot Ian and Saji after desu Yellow escaped, but no… Poor Revival could have had beaten out Andrei in the rankings, but I guess Sunrise cannot stand to see Saji shot like a snake. For a relationship they never really developed they tried awfully hard to make their audience care and be sad about all this. Unfortunately as they did not care to show this whirlwind romance of four months I did not care enough to give a damn. It also doesn’t help that Lyle was that lecherous when he made starting mouthing off about making Anew his woman and having his way with her… tearing off parts at the chest area and all that didn’t exactly have me cheering for Lyle. It just didn’t sit right with me, though Ribbons saved the day and Anew’s honor. After all we all know Lyle only got action in his GN powered mental hentai game.
WTF?! What is this? I see why Prince Ali kicked you out…I guess Sunrise really has no idea how to shoot. Though I have seen captured vids of terrorists shooting AK-47s like that…

Fucking Windows ME! Take this!
Louise is on the fast track to greatness she can either be a great failure like Stellar or be as Great and Terrible as Anavel Gato in her new Mobile Armor, since they seem to want try and make the Saji thing work her mobile armor at least has a longer life expectancy. Once again though we get no explanation for why Care and Revival did not kick the shit out of Ptolemy, so they pulled another plot hole on us like they did when Prince Ali let Jihad-kun and Princess Poverty escape… Ribbons is doing the right thing, but still keeps Prince Ali on the bench. This was a great one for comedy as these superior Innovators could not achieve what the Great Prince Ali already has. Revival got lost and had to steal O-Raiser instead, and could not even get away with it. Katie and Patrick are probably well into their honeymoon by now and quite how Nena missed is beyond me, but really Ribbons is more than enough villain and we don’t need Wang anymore. With five eps to go there are a lot of things that can go wrong. If they seriously wanted us to care about Lyle and Anew then I fear what BS they plan on unleashing with Marie and Haptism, and the same goes for the much dreaded reunion of Saji and Louise and the increasingly likely Marina and Jihad-kun. It was derivative and over done for something they never bothered to develop and use a time skip on, Gundam 0080 did it better because they didn’t let the two say good bye and one never realized what she had done. The lack of a real good bye probably would have added a bit more tragedy to it, but Lyle was able to say good bye and we got something bittersweet instead, and by that I mean bitter than Anew is gone, but sweet in that she died pure.
Poor Revival is losing so many of his friends, first he missed out on following Katie and Patrick when they eloped and now he’s trying to fill in for them by trying to keep an eye on Louise and trying to teach Andrei the art of romance. Though I did love how he weaseled his way out of his interrogation. I hope that since Revival is going soft and not being a total dick to every one that he gets to see his beloved Katie again, though Patrick might take the opportunity to losrd it over him. Well I suppose at least one of the non-Ribbons Innovators is getting more development though I am not sure what to call Louise just yet. I hope Ribbons saves this show from the depredations of that kill stealing Jihad-kun in a Nu Gundam 00. Next time Bob shows up and he better Trans-GARham and kick serious terrorist ass.
Leaderboard wise it seems that Jihad-kun has started to kill steal from his teammates and almost became a team killer when he shot Lyle. Anew and Nena drop back down in the rankings as none of thier kills were any good. Revival could have shot up this time, but alas he failed to kill Ian and Saji. Louise is starting to come into her own now as she took on 3 guys by herself. Let’s hope that real soon there will be some more frags to be had now that only five eps are left.

I don’t why I like Anew even though her relationship got barely any development. >_;But is it really necessary to kill Anew? This show is utter crap. Lyle is a little bitch and when someone steps up to do the job he should have done 10 minutes ago, he punches the guy? I seriously hope Lyle ends up like his brother. Setsuna even told the douchebag he was going to take the shot. If Lyle goes rogue the next episode(as seen in the preview with the gun), I hope someone throws him out an airlock.
This season is on par with Seed and the only thing saving it from Destiny levels is the nonuse of reused footage. I mean the fact alone that Anew was too stupid to steal the 00, which was his whole mission, shows the insane amount of stupidity among the Innovators. CB is no better, first they don’t use Anew as a hostage? Then they keep getting pwned by the Innovators who keep getting pwned by 00. I would just like either CB or the Innovators to get some kills against each other without 00 screwing up a good fight. I mean there are only four good mechs in this show it seems, Ribbon’s godly mech(we know he has one), Ali’s mech, Mr. Bushido’s mech, and 00. Oh btw the stupidity with the BENDING energy beam is so high that someone deserves to be slapped. I can’t help but feel this whole show would have been much better if they had ripped the Innovators part out and just made it CB vs A-Laws as this whole thing is just ridiculous. Yes the Lyle speech to Revival was very rapist like and I was just laughing my ass off the whole time.

Something I don’t get is your undying love for the Innovators and Patrick, both are rather bothersome to me and the only thing Patrick has going for him is he is a comic relief. I guess I still can’t help but see him as the sleeze-ball player from season 1. But whatever makes Kati happy I guess.
As for the Innovators…well it would be a long list of reasons to say why I hate them, with the exception of Bring because him and mech reminded me of a Knight from the Dark Ages, but I guess the best thing to top it off is that there character designs are what stand out to me the most in aggravation. Sunrise was actually doing okay for once as far as how a character looked-with the exception of Michael, Soma, and Ribbons-but then they brought in the whole multi-haired colored cast /sigh.
At any rate some of the good points of this episode was that Setsuna actually goes through with his threats. Which is something I am proud of since Tiera and himself are the only two people who have the plot in mind, everyone else is fighting for their bed-buddies (excluding Soma and Louise who have yet to realize there feelings, in time I hope).
Speaking of yuri versus yaoi. What is with Sunrise? They throw out malelust subtext like candy in a good chunk of animes that they have made (the ones I have watched at least) but when it comes to yuri it’s a no-no?
Oh and where is our weekly yuri picture!? I look forward to those more than anything every week. You have to tell me where you find them because I scour and scour and alas no cigar.

I think the director is holding back the fact that Prince Ali is still warming the bench indicates that there will be no kills on the terrorists for some time. Hell Lasse escaped a bullet to the face and for some reason Revival did not feel like shooting up Ian and Saji, probably could have saved the series by killing Saji. Now…I am dreading the happy end for Saji.

So anyone know if bending an energy beam has even been seen in science fiction? The only one I can think of is the Halo universe but that is more curving the arc then just a flat out bend.

This episode piles even more stupid on an already huge pile. First of all, why didn’t Anew and Revival kill the any of the crew when they had the chance? I mean they’ve only been trying to do the same thing since the start of the season might as well do it now that they’re out of their god-mode mobile suits. Then again it seems that the only personal weapons that CB has onboard are Airsoft guns seeing as how Lyle only got his arm scratched. Yes, yes. Maybe that’s it. There’s also the fact that Revival couldn’t put two and two together and SHOOT THE DAMN HARO THAT’S LOCKING THE CONTROLS: “Mr. Revival you have suddenly lost all control over the 0-Raiser when that red floating ball placed plugged itself into a dock and announced “0-Raiser docking sequence initiated”. What should you do?”
Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the new UC series. I just pray they don’t turn it into another uber pwnage haxx0r Gundam series and stay loyal to the UC timeline’s “realism”.

Also don’t forget how Jesus Yamato managed to survive an explosion what seemed to be impossible to escape from. But he does and comes back more godly than ever. First off, Win ME is so bad there is no way that CB installed it on the 00 Raiser. It is far more likely that Win Vista was on there and the Innovators could not handle the UAC in attack/shield mode.
Secondly, I am almost sure that the end will be Setsuna casting his GNjutsu to break Ribbons Palpatine’s mental hold and free the Innovators. I figure Setsuna might die, but whatever. Then, the world will be united in a class action lawsuit against whoever made the fake solar engines that cause cancer.

The entire second season has a been complete letdown. I’m done now with this series. The innovators blow, ribbons is apparently a complete dumbass. And they killed of andrei THE FRICKING HERO OF THE SOVIET UNION! What was so wrong with the original cast that they had to replace them all with the useless innovators?! Ali’s gotten no screen time which is the biggest crime of all. Not to mention katie wasn’t allowed to use her intellect at all this season either.
You’d figure that the federation would rather use the guys that defeated the gundam previously rather then this crew of idiots…
None of the women can do anything properly, it’s sad. Anew can’t kill Lasse point blank, Nena can’t kill Wang when she’s lying prone, Marina can’t do anything, and Soma can’t kill desu. Such a shame, they are a disgrace to women everywhere.

because it is like the pass episode, they show a bit of result of
the battle and then shows the battle detail in the following
episode. Notice OO was in trans-am mode, it is more probable that
it had defeated both before snatching the kill from Lyle.
As the whole show shows, CB has more advanced technology than
A-Laws or innovators. It is normal that revival dont understand
the technology gap to operate the O raiser. And i guess it was
the original plan that revival steals the O raiser while anew
steals the 00, only that anew fail through interception by
setsuna, who knows straight where to go when all this happened.
Setsuna has a good aim that shot Lyle on his bullet proof vest
part(the thick chest part). If he was shot on the arm, he could
not have pilot Cherudim. Setsuna pilot in pain while he was shot
by Prince Ali. Neil’s death and intro of Lyle was in plan I
think, because Lyle actuallu was mentioned very early in season
one. And Neil is with Felt, so they need Lyle to like Anew, I
guess, tho Teira can do the job. I agree more people will die. I
guess all innovators will die except nena and teira and ribbons.
Gundam meisters wont die, Lasse will die eventually to show the
supremecy of setsuna changing and wont die. Someone need to do
the interaction with maybe, aliens. and Setsuna is the one.
Ribbons, Prince Ali and Bushido will appear in the ultimate
battle. But I have a feeling Bushido will change side, but will
still want a duel with setsuna. much like in gundam wing. There are plenty of examples in gundam seed. Katie
might be next. I’m still waiting for Allelujia’s to perform, I
think he is the best pilot when he is in serious mode and allowed
to perform. I think Trans-AM Allu is better than Trans-AM 00.

Indeed Prince Ali had to kick him out of the clan in the end, Jihad-kun just isn’t a team player, then again no one seems to show much team work in CB anyway, kill stealing, team killing, attempted team killing, there’s just no discipline.

Revival because of his love for Katie is a decent bloke, which is more than can be said of 90% of CB. Ribbons is voiced by the original pilot of the first Gundam in Mobile Suit Gundam (UC time line 0079).

Indeed only in UC do women ever seem to kick ass and take names, other wise in the more recent AU woman hating is much more pronounced they slapped Luna with Shin, nerfed Cagali, and in 00 only Katie seems to have half a brain and isn’t totally useless like Shirin and Princess Poverty.
Beam bending at this point is going to be a one time thing, I still wonder what happened to those anti- beam grenades they had… A consistent level of technology just ain’t here, remember when the Ahead was actually something?

Revival pulled it off of Ian who also could not shoot straight and stole his gun, Revive then failed to use said gun to kill Ian and Saji and give the Innovators a distinct tactical and strategic advantage.

The Gundam 00 is a great machine, only that it’s pilots suck ass and it would have been better in the hands of Prince Ali, Bushido Bob, or Ribbons. It’s like the Panther Tank, it’s a fine machine but teh first crop of crewmen were the guys Panzer unit commanders could not wait to get rid of… hence why Gundam 00 is performing like a Panther at Kursk, wandering around the battlefield like a lost puppy every time he hears Marina’s awful song.

All I heard and watched was blah, blah, blah, ooh that looks…, oh wait, more blah. They replaced Saji and Louise with Lyle and Anew which was just -_-
I think even without Anew, the future would still predict Lyle beating the crap out of Setsuna. This episode didn’t add or take away anything significant except if you’re a fan of Anew. Soma was emo. Louise needed more drugs. Marina was singing again. I hope Nena can bring something more appealing in the next episode. This wasn’t a bad episode, just not too much happened.
Highlight for me was Haro taking control instead of Revival. That was damn funny if you asked me. ^^
It’s funny how Setsuna committed to bringing Louise back to Saji, but on the other hand he just offered to kill Anew when the situation calls for it so that Lyle don’t have to it himself. I guess only one “retrieve my errant girlfriend please” mission at a time for our stoic hero.
By being defeated by a Haro, Revive has brought the ultimate shame to the Innovator name (if it wasn’t shamed enough already). Also funny that he managed to escape twice in this one episode. I guess Revive is trying to become the next Patrick lol.

Kinda mysterious since he still had to dock with 0 Raiser and both Revive and Care were already close to the ship. Somehow though, Louis did let the 3 people she caught escape unless Jihad-kun had something to do with it or they all retreated after he shot Revive and Care’s suit. They just forgot to call Anew.
Double Post. I think you’ll need to add the opposite of “honorary innovator” in Jihad-kuns notes in the leader-board after episode 22.
Also, is the pilot of that white Masurao Mr. Bushido Bob or someone else? Its color white and has a solid GN Blade (Spear?) rather than those two large Beam Sabers. If it is him, I guess thats his answer to Jihad-kun not fighting seriously last week.

Seriously, Anew charges at Lyle with a one-armed Gadessa holding a combat knife, and Setsuna has to shoot her in the cockpit to take her out. Shoot the arms, prick!
Ribbons reminds me of Emperor Palpatine with his Sith Mind Tricks.
Is it general consensus yet that the 00 series is getting nowhere? I don’t believe an actual ’story’ is told. Character development is near zero and the time fast-forwarding thing doesn’t help at all.
Also… who really cares about Lyle and Anew? Their relationship started like when?
I mean besides some good opening and closing songs this series has really offered me nothing…
One more thing: i would have loved to see the children snatch the gun from Shirin in the last episode when they were fleeing with Marina and say “WE DON’T WANNA DIE MARINA!!!”
If its one person that needs to be killed off in 00 its Marina. Being nice and peace-loving is good, but geezzz doesn’t she understand (i) there’s some genuinely freaky people out there and (ii) you can’t protect anything if you’re dead…
Really there’s too many negatives in the 00 series from what I see… for 50 episodes I would have thought its more than enough time for decent characterization but I’m wrong. Should the entire writing team be punished? YES. The story comes off as too pretentious especially with Ribbons momentarily spouts about the lame-less of humanity… give me a break… if you’re so great then get off your couch, go outside, and kill some main characters off… and take Marina out while you’re at it.

Well I agree with you for the most part however I do disagree with you with what this series offers. It has excellent animation, the voicing is good, and the fights are usually quite bad-ass. If they didn’t try to pull this series off like a Lelouch strategy plan and more of a FUCK strategy lets run in and kill sorta thing it would’ve been much better IMO. As for character development c’mon what about Saji at first he was a peace loving hippie but now he fights……..Well sure he makes someone else fight and he acts gay most of the time, but he did punch Setsuna that’s gotta count for something. Also by now you should be able to tell there’s always some peace lover in every gundam series it gives the fans someone to hate (I only watched SEED/DESTINY) and lemme tell you I hated Lacus Cline.
As for the 50 episode thing, get real man its Sunrise were talking about. You should have stopped expecting anything decent past episode 25.(second season)

My random thoughts:
I’m willing to bet Anew didn’t have any aimming issues. Instead, I bet Lasse tried to be a hero and get the gun away from Anew and got shot in the stomach for his efforts. Plus CB probably doesn’t stock ammo as good as what Ali buys so shooting him in the chest might not get all the way through that chest piece and it’s equipment.
I actually don’t really mind the whole Lyle/Anew thing. Obviously they wanted a Four/Stella character and accompanying death incident. I’ll cheerfully take “Oh the deep relationship developed in the course of a four month timeskip” of the Lyle/Anew relationship over “Despite having spent a grand total of less than 24 hours with each other, they magically developed a deep relationship.” of Camille/Four or Shinn/Stella.
While Ali apparently skipped teaching Setsuna to finish off defeated enemies in favor of teaching him to be a punching bag; he did apparently did teach Setsuna to shoot to kill, especially when an ally is in danger.
After watching this episode I can only conclude that Revive decided to join Team Patrick a while back.
I blame Ribbons for Anew and Revive not just attempting to kill the crew. Ribbons probably wants CB to be crushed by the A-Laws in a manor similar to the end of season 1. As such their mission was solely to steal the 00-Raiser for him (which would still vastly simplify things for the A-Laws).
This series stopped being serious the moment Grunty’s voice was heard. Not that it’s a direct connection, but the series has more stupid plot holes than R2. R2 was fabulous, the pacing was fast enough, and the mech action sadly surpasses that of gundam. I mean, the fact that any time Karen or Suzaku came out meant SHIT HAPPENS far surpasses the times a good battle happened in 00. I mean, Bob didn’t even get a good fight with his Stag Beetle. It was some ghetto shounen jump Bleach Ichigo attack. RAWRRR I CHARGE U.
There’s really nothing to look forward to besides wonder how they will screw up within the next 5 episodes. At least with R2 the last 5 episodes people actually somewhat believed hey how the hell are they gonna fit all this in before realizing they won’t explain half the magical crap of geass. 00, there’s just pixie dust and yeah.
Oh and I guess whether or not FujiKei lives. Chances are NO, but it’d be a landmark in his career for a action role to survive.

Any who on a more CG note I watch that for my daily helping of Orange-kun, After all an orange a day lets you jump out of a mecha suit and land on another to claim supreme victory for LOYALTY.
But for gundam actions scenes I do enjoy watching 00 like c’mon that GN pixie dust is trippy shit. However like I said I don’t really expect anything from this series anymore(I said this on last 00 ep) and its more or less closure reasons from here on out. Any one who watches it cause they love it……………good luck with that one, no seriously you’ll need it.

I mean, sure, you can say these things aren’t plot holes, just bad writing, and questionable directorial choices, but let’s stop using terminologies and let’s look at the big picture here: The damn show long lost it’s logic and consistency from S1, and the fights are FAR INFERIOR in choreograph while still being really lackluster in plot development. The show tries to pull an R2, but because of the lack of FABULOUS factors such as Lelouch’s voice as Zero, a world that has MAGIC, and people just bitching fighting a war while drinking out of their tea cups, it just all boils down to betting on when FujiKei kicks the bucket and if he will tack on a few more points on the scoreboard before he dies, because face it, even the ace fights have been lacking lately. Bob should be renamed Kurosaki Ichigo, because the only thing left is for him to send a shockwave from his damn sword, I mean, HE ALREADY HAS A MASK. THE GUY IS PRACTICALLY A VIZARD AND FIGHTS LIKE ONE judging from the first fight with 00-Raiser DUR DUR DUR.
But if we ignore all the perfectionist crap, it’s still a good show. Just not a GREAT show like it could have been since S1 took pains to set up the stage for an epic sequel and sacrificed a lot of aspects that could draw more viewers in.

Gundam has always been a balance of selling the model kits and conveying the director’s story/feelings/ideals/thoughts. It will never be a work of art, which is kind of sad, because Gundam is successful enough that it has become something of it’s own. It’s a recognized part of anime culture, sci-fi, and other things. Yet after cementing itself and having the resources, people just continue to use the brand just to make cash or try to give it a go with their own stories. Which is real dumb, because you can easily tell how good the storywriter is if you just TAKE AWAY THE GUNDAM ELEMENTS and put them in a normal war like scenario. So it SUCKS RIGHT? Pretty sure if Gundam 00 turned into the Wars of AD the only badass would be Ali because everyone would be forced to be using GUNS and STICKS and it wouldn’t be NEARLY AS COOL talking about some giant cliche.
I guess what I mean is, people have always used Gundam to carry their own work, which is fine because it’s a mutual relationship, but for god sakes, isn’t it about time we focused and gave back to the GUNDAM side of things? The MOBILE SUIT ACTION? The specs and techs? The WAR STRATEGIES that go BEYOND “I ACTIVATE MY TRAP CARD” every episode? I mean you know it’s bad when yugioh has more plot twists in action than 00 S2.
Whatever, I’m hella spoiled right now by HMK.
Sunrise needs to get their crap together, matter of fact I already knows who gonna die now in the next episode: Marina come on down your the next one to die, Sunrise this is the only way to save the whole series by killing off the weakest link.
