Hahahaha I can lol now, finally since I avoided this post while I was still watching LOGH.

Patrick and Reinhard being in the same category cements my devotion to both! Crusader, you just made my day.

We shall see if in the Movie Hime becomes a better combatant.

@Dark Messiah
Alto-hime's loyalty is beyond question, unlike some teenage pop sensations...

Maybe Ozma more skilled than hime but At last Hime has a better personality than ozma. He proves loyalty for defending frontier fleet and Hime is the man that Mr.Bilrer entrust his ideals not Ozma lee.
(Still Hoping kabuki hime though on MF the movie)

@Zentari
That it is...

@IKnight
By any means neccessary, indeed. Still one cannot argue with the results.

Mittenmeyer married his cousin IIRC. They were osanajimi, but I do believe they were related.

@kuromitsu
It's not much of an Oedipal complex if we look at it, Reuenthal did not wish to kill his father and rape his mum, rather he feared his mother and his father to an extent. I think IKnight is a bit closer to what Reuenthal really was a woman hating man, he did not get any maternal love, and hence was unable to love on his own account. The fact that he refers to women as a creature that was created to betray men seems to indicate more respect for his father who got cuckolded.

@schneider
What are you waiting for finish it NAO!

Chevauchee loosely translates to a "horse charge" but otherwise refers to a Hundred years War tactic of staging grand raids, such as those under taken by the Black Prince.

@animekritik
Mahan only works if the practitioner is 110%loyalty, however seeing as how you sympathize with Touya from White Album, I doubt you fully understand what it means to be loyal. It worded for Reinhard...

@maguskn
Nevertheless Alto-hime was not the best of the lot.

A bit OT, but I strongly suspect that Alto is in the end the equal of the veterans and Zentraedi, in term of combat abilities. After all, didn´t Ozma and Klan onee-sama trust him to finish off Grace?

Oh yes, Mittermeier with the yellow roses (bwahahaha), cake and no ring. With his father watching from behind the bushes. So. Damn. Cute.

Let me take these in turn:
1)Shock and Awe - never tried it, but if you can pull it off then go for it..
2)Guerre de course - excellent, but must be wary of germs etc..
3)Chevauchee - great but expensive, with all the ammo, gear and horses.
4)Mahan - mahanian doctrine doesn't work. There are no decisive dates, only decisive dumps.

Oooh a LOGH post. I'll check back on this once I've actually finished the show! Haven't reached the Kaiserin part yet.

Those were some epic screencaps, though I dunno what Chevauchee means.

@ IKnight

Mittermeyer did with roses while still in his uniform. I still DAWWWWWWW'ed.

I've never been a fan of Freud myself, but whatever works, I guess.

What about Mittermeyer's courtship? I can't remember the specifics, but wasn't it a childhood-friend deal?

Pathological? I'd call it Oedipal, myself. The guy had serious mother issues.

An interesting (and convincing) vindication for Mako-cakes there. I thought there was something pathological in Reuentahl's approach to women.
