Yoshino can hold quite the grudge…

Well lelangir was busy this week and seeing as how it’s Super Bowl Sunday this weekend I might as well fly solo on this one until next time. The quest for a new soeur for Yumi and Yoshino continues with a tea party that in the end result few concrete results. Yoshino seems to be very particular while Yumi is in no shortage of aspirants. Too bad Touko was a no show. The girl who claimed either one of them will have sufficed was seen off while Yumi is clearly the favorite amongst the first years. Sadly few if any had much of a work ethic and even Sachicko was stirred to anger. The underwhelming showing of the first years was indeed lackluster, hair problems, getting autographs, and running away from washing dishes.

Don’t worry your best friend will be there shortly…

It’s certainly shaping up to be quite the year for Touma, for the past four eps it seems that Touma has applied for adoption by Haruka. Given the quality of her brothers I cannot say I blame her, with an oppressor like Natsuki who is by all accounts exceptionally thick Touma’s headbutt is probably more effective against Kana in snack defense, I already have a job suggestion for Touma, I hear Terry Tate needs some help in his office linebacker business and Touma is already a promising candidate. Quite how the other Minami family came to the conclusion that Touma was getting more lady-like under the care of Haruka and her sisters is for now a mystery. I just loved how Kana lost her nerve when Akria was thanking her as the truth is quite different. Kana thinks that reverse psychology might work, but quickly changes her plans and resolves to make Touma a gentleman. The great thing is that Touma could probably do it for a while until she could no longer feign flatness. If kana put her mind to it I am sure she could make Touma into a reverse trap for life, but I for one am against gender reassignment, as manliness is 99% attitude 1% balls of a physical sort.

It’s simply amazing how even now while Rina had been exonerated at the end of every episode that people dare call her a man stealer. I say again just because Touya thinks that he has a shot doesn’t mean she is giving him one. This pro-Yuki sentiment is galling as this fifth column has come to spread more malicious lies as Kabitzin decided to join their ranks in defaming the good name of Rina Ogata. Rina has put Yuki first and this is the thanks she gets. I blame Touya for all this, because the stupid fuck is having delusions about Rina liking him. Nothing could be more false, as Rina only wants Yuki to be happy.

Some of you may be watching this kdrama remake of a jdrama remake of a tdrama adaptation of an anime adaptation of a manga (OK it’s probably just an adaptation of the manga, but it’s way more fun to say that way). To be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of the manga; I dropped it pretty quickly and only know the basic outline of the plot. The thing that made me watch this version is simple: my undying affection for Koo Hye Sun. Sure, Pure 19 was sweet and all, but it’s her wide range of absolutely adorable facial expressions that endears her to me. With visions of her in my mind, I plunged into the first episode of Boys Over Flowers.

What I found was a new kind of rage inside myself.
