That’s assuming there’s a long supply line and that Tytania doesn’t have enough force to protect its supply lines AND crush Fan Hulic forces with overwhelming superiority.Anyway, for now there’s not enough information to discuss it in details.

Juslan could be a main character given his place in the promo material on the Tytania side of things. We shall see if that will be the case though.

Right now the absence of a parade of admirals means it will probably be less about large scale fleet maneuvers and having meetings take up whole eps. Right now the absence of strike craft means that battles turn out slightly different, and sicne technology progression it might become a factor since in LOGH technology on both sides remained rather static.

Even with a delaying actions losing that many ships is still going to hurt, especially since the rest of the Tytania Fleet is still out there and still vastly out number Fan Hulic. giving up territory and preserving the fleet is still important since ships are about the only way to fight back given Tytania’s political clout. Long supply lines are always a danger and I imagine if Fan Hulic was leading the Tytanian fleet by the nose and streching out their supply lines that he could have delivered something similar to von Manstein’s back hand blow to the Russians after the loss of the German 6th Army at the Third Battle of Kharkov.

I recommend going in three episodes deep before writing it off that is usually the point where you can tell where things are heading.

However! I doubt it’ll be too similar to LoGH, Tanaka Yoshiki seems to be the sort of guy who likes to do write lots of different things and I don’t think he’d write Tytania as a repeat of LoGh. I’ve never read his works, sadly, and don’t have any real Tytania spoilers, though. Someone compared Jouslan more to Yang than Reinhard, so maybe this time Yang will win. Well, the philosophick half of Yang, anyway.

The other half is busy blowing bubblegum on a command deck on the other side of the battle lines.

Macross had its sexy Valkyries, but here its about massive numbers of expendable Capital ships, ship heroics are not as likely given how even the flagships are liable to be destroyed if the commander is sloppy.

Yep there’s no other way to say happy birthday than offing someone at the party. It sure took some audacity to pull that one off.

Hopefully bad animation won’t be that much of a gripe as time goes on I am use to QUALITY but Tytania deserves better and hopefully the space battles will be lovely. There is a lot of potential here and I hope they use it.

It’s very much in teh vein of LOGH and hopefully it won’t get too modern even if the female cast is greatly outnumbered by the males. Since there are no bridge bunnies its a bit easier to focus on the commanders than their surroundings.

LOGH 2 this is not but right now the Tytania seem a lot more overtly bad ass than Reinhard who had to ply by some rules. In contrast Ajman writes them himself it seems.

The focus seems more to be aboput polics and war than romance, that said it is very niche. Ajman so far has been pretty bad ass, it takes some balls to kill the Chancellor on the emperor’s birthday in front of everyone, and then excuse yourself.
