I just couldn’t get into this show and I tried very hard to give it a chance. I sat through the entire thing, barely and I can’t see myself devoting any extra time to this series.

The only thing this has in common with SnS is probably the OP. The rest of the series seems pretty boring and trite.

IMO, Kannagi is off to a way better start than To Aru Majutsu no Index.

To be honest, I adore her. She’s the “right” kind of tsundere ^_^ – and once you learn a bit more about her personality (see the manga I quoted), I find it easy to forgive her flaws, and rather be entertained by them.

@Skoll: Really? I feel that being a timid person, he should not have that much courage to transform almost immediately. Nonetheless, resentment and the hatred of being weak might be a compelling catalyst when this weak person turns strong immediately. Ya, your logic does make sense.

Another issue I have with the show is the fact that KoL tries too much to make it feel like it is another Gundam (making things look grand) without establishing any logic or foundation in the series. Jargons are thrown around like they are common place, facts are thrown at you so fast that you have no time to digest and most importantly, they make a likely fatal mistake of making such a grand episode without conjuring any sense of urgency or anticipation. I was a tad disappointed.

@Silver: I cannot wait to see more garness of Touma. It has been a while when a character is so GAR yet not annoying to me. Generally, shounen characters deviate from being completely wimpy to completely GAR (and stupid) without anything in between. Touma seems to be the exception.

@CR: Arrr. thanks for the clarification. The anime really never did it justice then. That would have been much easier to digest that a major event results in a change of character over the years. That is more acceptable.
