Well Casshern is one of the best animes there is! And Kuroshitsuji is by far the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. I pity the characters, they do absolutely nothing, god, everything that happens there you’ve already seen in another anime. Sebastian reminds me of Soubi, and Ciel of a bratty Ritsuka (this, from Loveless). Everything in that anime is so cliché.

I feel pity for you not being able to enjoy the true potential that Casshern Sins has… Just because it’s not your typical actionbased anime doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Kuroshitsuji and Hyakko were both shit shows from last season compared to the class that Casshern Sins has.

Now, I’m obviously late to comment on this, I respect your opinion completely, and I want you to know I mean no offense in any way. I agree with your final verdict on Casshern SINS as fans of old school anime will like it! I do like it, and quite a bit. I recognize that the show is highly style-over-substance and the episodic nature would deter many from continuing on with the show. I found though, that it was quite intriguing, the open plot. This would also be frustrating to many, I am sure.

The point of this comment though is that there are a lot of people giving silly, hateful messages about an opinion. I cannot understand this! One cannot change another’s opinion by giving angry vibes! The only way to change an opinion is to give retrospective facts, after whatever the person has negative thoughts about has continued further. I’m at episode nine (ten will be released later today, I believe) and the show does start making sense. The formula of the episodes is generally: a fight, a new character and their story, that characters exit (death, leaving, et cetera), and a small bit of overall story building. I would recommend you track down episodes eight and nine to see what is, so far, the series’ best. Hopefully those will change your opinion, at least slightly, since they have the best stories, and are where the mood changes.

Hopefully this gets read, and maybe I will attempt to join the team one day and write my own ideas on the series. The site seems fairly open to new blood, so who knows.

EDIT: I just noticed that applications are closed. Oh well.

Okay i don’t care about those other shows but i seen Casshern Sins is a great show u must of not paid attention for a 1 sec in those 15 minutes u watch it cause it doesn’t say the word {assasin} in the whole freakin show , how can he be dead and if u listened every fuckin robot knows who casshern is. Animation is very good the plot makes total sense if u was watchin the show espeically. sense it tells u right after those 15 min u watch seriously watch more than half a episode before u start making up bullshit

My favorite show of the season is Hyakko so far. I don’t care about the plot – it is Michio Fukuda’s great storyboarding skill that makes the show very enjoyable to me As for the plot, I look forward to Tytania

@UBlade: Hahaha, you are not even being harsh though in terms of what you have described. You are being constructive in discussing what is it that you feel has been misrepresented in my review, rather than trying to insult me (which btw is useless since insulting someone to get your point through is stupidity in yourself). In addition, I generally laugh at insults because insulting someone’s opinion (no matter how stupid the opinion is) shows so bigoted and narrow-minded a person is, and is simply writing to boost their fragile weak ego. Criticize the words of the writer, not the writer itself. Criticize the actual act, not the mother of the culprit. That’s the mark of a true critic and the way for proper critique. As you can tell, Fin’s comments have shone some understanding about Casshern Sins, and I accepted wholeheartedly (though I am not changing my view about how I don’t like it).

Lol. You pointed out a typo that I got to remedy. It’s just semantics though. You can always get what I am trying to say, despite the poor usage of the word. I must be going @_@ at the time I am writing this, since writing a blog entry is strangely tougher than it looks (yes, it’s just words right? but hell, it can be troublesome). Honest mistake ^^

Kuro’s first episode is definitely very strong in presenting interesting characters with rather hidden sinister moments. Barring a major problem, I do not see it being problematic. You are right though. I guess I was really disgusted after watching Casshern Sins, so much so that the feeling of hatred goes into the writing of Kuro. On hindsight, I did spoil the review a little for Kuro. Oh well :<

Secondly, the thing i really had a problem with is that you continue to bash the show in your impression of kuroshitsuji..and not once but twice! Alright..i understand it’s not a show for you, but must you continue to say negative things about it in a review of another interesting series whose review was messed up because of it? The whole kuroshitsuji review was ruined overall because you kept mentioning casshern sins! And no…there’s been plenty of people who liked it who have NOT seen the old school original, so both older and newer fans can be impressed alike. Just thought you were a little unfair and messy here.

Anyway, enough about that..time to talk about the other shows. Even though kuroshitsuji’s first ep was good…it was nothing amazing (Except dark butler badassness which was awesome lol, i like the side characters too), the opening was catchy. Hyakko is something i won’t be watching right away..i’ll wait for the other characters to show up after seeing them in the opening (definitely some cute and interesting girls in there for sure lol).

Ok i won’t be as harsh as the others, but i do have some things i would like to say myself. First, this line here:

“Oh, the graphics is good during the fight scene”…..what the hell is that. “Graphics”? Are we talking about a game here? I find that’s it’s the noobs who are usually stupidly using terms wrongly…so why here from a so-called intelligent anime blogger? It should look something like this:

“Ah, the *Animation* is good during the fight scenes”. I mean seriously…i expected better from you dude.

There’s alot of points i agree with, and a few i disagree with, but still i really enjoyed the show & i wont have a go at Impz cus this is OPINION. I like how this attempt at an anime expert doesn’t even know AMURO RAY’s voice actor, and replies with a “@Leo7: I am not a fan of seiyuus to be honest. I apologize if I offended you but it makes me easier to criticize a seiyuu without knowing who he is. It gives less bias.”
Then in his kuroshitwhatever review you have: “In terms of characters, they really found the right seiyuu for the job. Sebastian sounds just downright nice and creepy at the same time, but do you really expect anything else from Daisuke Ono. Getting Maaya Sakamoto to do the voice of Ciel is great as well because she is a very versatile seiyuu that can fit into many roles without blinking an eye.”

Oh okay, you have an aweful taste and have to lie, contradictions gallore.

I’ve watched a lot of great animes- Gurren Lagann, Death Note, Macross(Movie), Ghost In the Shell…

Watching Casshern Sins really impressed me. The graphics were very beautiful and the drawing was unique to say the least. The fighting scenes were not important in the first episode- It’s basically an intro. to the story and character-

You can say all you want about Casshern, but how can you appreciate anime when you follow Code Geass and Macross Frontier?
