@Helling: Check out episode #11 for a Madara marathon. Well, Nyanko-sensei to be precise. I’m not so sure we’ll be seeing another of those in season one. Maybe in season two. @Cherubium: I wonder myself now that you mention it. It was a funny shot! Yes, and Hinoe is awesome, I wish she had come along earlier in the series to give Takashi some trouble. Speaking of Hinoe, she would be the perfect defense against Mr. Fabulous’s hench(wo)men. Hell, he ought to call in Misuzu, too, while he’s at it.

i saw that ep and was wondering why you left out the screenshot when Nyako-sensei was getting shocked from touching the mark.

Hinoe is funny especially when she finds out that Nastume doesn’t have any breasts. Hahaha complete freak out. Though she does envoke sympathy when she hears Reiko died a long time ago and comments that why she hates getting attached to people. Funny yet sombre at the same time.

@Omi: Yea, somehow I found the shadow much more disturbing than the main blob. It kind of reminds of something that I can’t quite put my finger on…

@frog212: I did the same thing and may have found the very same picture. From what I read, it was a fluke (the frog had already eaten the spider and got caught in the aftermath!) But actually, several species of spider do eat frogs (such as tarantulas). I guess it CAN happen.

In reference to your 3rd picture, I decided to google if a frog could get caught in a spider’s web and I saw a picture of a frog that was caught in one. The picture freaked me out and now I’m afraid of frogs.

The worse thing about the shadow was that it didn’t move while being seen by someone at all until the last few minutes of the episode. Every time Natsume wasn’t around the damn thing I expected it to just come out of nowhere and attack him. It was edge-of-the-seat creepy; a silent, deadly force that at the time Natsume had no defence against.

I don’t know why, but when Nastume was caught by the shadow, his facial expression was similar to “omg I’m getting raped!”
