Oh man, talk about hyperbole. Cornelia massacred with the best of ‘em in her days as “the Britannian Witch”. She so did not look out for the little people. She looked down on Numbers.

Oh, and accusing Suzaku of murdering Euphie? Bald-faced lie. Heck, Lelouch was forced to kill her after his Geass accidentally went off on her. and he was NOT happy about having to do so.

@cerebus23 There’s simply no factual indication one way or the other whether Lelouch told Suzaku about what happened with Euphie. They did become best friends again over the one month period in between Charles’ and Marianne’s death in the World of C and their takeover of the Britannian throne, so it’s possible Suzaku knew.

cornelia might be a great warrior but she is not all that bright, and when it comes to the “little people” she has no problem killing little people en mass, had 0 love for the 11s. and hated any show of weakness towards the numbers in general.

but i guess she draws the line at FLEAing half the planet. numbers or not.

i think she could have been used better, but her prejudice and devotion to the royal line made her blind, plus she knew zero/lulu killed yuffie and that was as much or more unforgivable to her as it was to susaku, so allying to zero was probalby last on her list of possibilities no matter if he was trying to destroy geass or whatever it made not a spits difference in hell to her since she believes he murdered yuffie, not only that she believes he intenionally and coldly ruined her legacy and memory by purposely programming yuffie to massacre the 11s.

and not like lalouch has done anything to dispel those notions or try to make any excuse for any action or accidents that have happened along the path. he never even explained what really happened to sazaku after they join forces.

@ Mytilene i wondered what that aside meant at the end of the episode, but i think thats a pretty good take on what exactly it meant and why he had a change of heart. it was just ironic that so many got that about lulu somehow, but his bff just refused to even think that way or try to understand his friend.

and maid x knew who zero was when they pulled that little stunt to leave japan as zeros, he took his mask off in front of her and gave her a nod, she was totally kick ass and her and orange just seem to understand zero/lulus goals better than most and were fiercly loyal

since the beginning of this anime i never could guess what would happen next i always thought that lelouch will become the villain.but in the end his goal was just the same to give peace and end the war and in order to do that he had sacrificed so many things in his life..i hope there will be another season..hehe.Hail to Lelouch Lamperouge!!!

I.totally.called it. Nunally was out of range!;)

Although, you have to wonder about Ms. Roymeyer- if I’m not mistaken, she was with Nunally. And what’s with Sayoko showing up all wounded? It seems a bit over-the-top…

On another note, these are Lloyd’s budgets:
95% goes to Lancelot Albion
4% goes to repairs for Lancelot
1% goes to paint that will hopefully mask the fact that Shitsu is getting a hand-me-down…

Oh Maid X Orange will definitely happen, i mean not only are they both extremely loyal, but they’re both cyborgs…. how else do you explain that maid hat staying on her head after jumping down a cliff, fighting orange-kun head on, and getting hit by a nuke :3

@Midlos: Agreed. Though I am bummed that we don’t get to see Empress Cornelia, her manner of death was quite heroic. More heroic, if less dramatic, than if she goes out in a KF fighting Britannia.

At least Nonette’s still alive. Funny how I always latch on to these minor characters (Darlton, Guilford, Monica et cetera)

Yeah, see, that’s what I thought would have happened; I just don’t understand why it sounds like Shneizel’s taking credit for it. In my sub it reads as

Kanon: Is Anya okay? You said to restore her memories, but…

I don’t know if anyone else has a different translation. :/ But if it was just the dissappearance of Marianne, what the heck does Shniezel have to do with it, anyway? Does anyone outside of Lulu, Suzaku, and C.C. even know what happened in the World of C? Anya was left outside… Eeh, maybe it’s just a weird translation. Maybe the “memories” he means is her little record-keeper gizmo. So maybe they just gave that back to her… I have no clue. ^^;

Edit: Oh- I just rewatched Ep. 21 and in it Charlie admits to using his memo-wipe Geass on Anya. :3 So yeah, she was definitely Geassed. Doesn’t dispute the “because they’re dead she got her memories” theory back, though. Just that it’s Chuck’s Geass, not Marianne’s.

Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but my interpretation of ‘Why Suzaku Decided To Play For Lelouch’s Team’ is based on that little self-monologue right before he defects.

Suzaku: Perhaps. At the very least, Euphy never said Lelouch was Zero. Neither did Shirley. So, I…

I interpred this as Suzaku going, “Wait. So Lelouch is the ‘bad guy’, but Euphy (whom I obviously hold in high regard, or haven’t you been paying attention?) and Shirley (who was an innocent and had ample reason to hate Zero) both chose to withold his identity and allow him to continue his antics. So maybe Zero isn’t the ‘bad guy’?”

Alternatively, he’s not that intuitive and he’s just asking himself “WWED? Oh, well, protect Zero, apparently. Sounds like a plan! ”
