My Alto-hime will not die in a VF-171EX, no hime’s VF-25 will never allow that to happen. Brera might be self destruct but considering that Grace is in charge I doubt Brera-nii will have what it takes. No, it will be a shared victory for Klein onee-chan and her imouto-hime, Alto-hime. I am sure a tag team of the blue haired alliance vs. Brera would be some what more to you liking. Still I want to seem more Klan onee-chan and imouto-hime dogfights. XD

Ranka had zero development this time around and now she has little chance to grow to point where she can challenge Sheryl’s awesome-ness I nearly fell out of my chair when Sheryl leaped onto stage Basara style. It’s pretty much Sheryl = Basara and Ranka = Minmei, in terms of cool Basara > Minmei. Since every one saw Ranka sing a love song while her bugs were slaughtering them Ranka can never go back and I doubt she will ever be forgiven. I am surprised that Alto-hime’s death in her arms did not snap her out of of it. Clearly Ranka was trying to crush my Alto-hime. I am sure that Alto-hime will not die in such a manner no hime will return to Sheryl and they will be happy together for the rest of their lives. As for Ranka, she can live alone with her bugs as only some of Quarter would forgive her assuming they didn’t lose any one with those two islands Ranka just blew up. Ranka is a lost cause now, she deserves no end that makes her in any way happy after what she pulled.

If he’s dead, he’s in heaven with his okaasan, who he adored. So, both of them are happy (and dead). Certainly happier than most of the survivors at the moment area.

If he’s not dead, I’ll guess at a Macross Zero ending where he’s heading off into the wild black yonder. Personally, I’m hoping Brera doesn’t lose – it’d be too cliche. Now, if he wants to indulge in cliches, why not self-destruct if he can?

Still, I find it odd that Ranka doesn’t seem to care all that much about Alto and company despite wanting to create a peace accord between them and Frontier, and seems to see nothing wrong with going along with Brera’s suggestion which basically is ‘boost Vajra forces to kill humans’. I guess we’re not going to see that major growing-up that was required after all. Even if she ’snaps out’ of this passiveness, it’s too late for heavens know how many people, and we’re not going to see too happy an ending for her, and maybe not for Alto.

Yes grace was really amazing once again using Brera to toy with Ranka and beat Alto-hime and Klein onee-chan. Using Ai Oboeteimasu ka was down right criminal and awesome tat the same time, now Ranka will never be forgiven by the people of Frontier, even if they spare her she will have to leave. Leon is going to die real soon, though Grace is just unkillable.

Not sure if Ranka is the anti-Lacus, but Sheryl is certainly the anti-Minmei, and Ranka is basically evil Minmei…

Trust me Alto-hime is not dead, no Brera will lose before Pilot-hime takes out Ranka Sharon Apple cosplay with a fold bomb. I always said my Alto-hime had it in hime, just look at my kabuki-hime all ready to kill Ranka to save Frontier… Hime is so grown up now. XD

Talk about irony – using the song from DYRL (Ai Oboeteimasu ka) which was ‘from the Protoculture’ against Frontier… although having Luca kiss Nanase was a little on the creepy side.

My Alto-hime is no Ozma, hime will pull a Gamlin. Ranka proved tonce gain her inferiority and did exactley what Leon said she would Ranka is now a traitor and everyone saw it. Ranka became Sharon Apple while Grace became an evil Myung, Grace was awesome though, terminator and all. Ranka tried to kill my Alto-hime, now I can never forgive her…she even used Ai Oboeteimasuka. I believed in her, but this is the final treachery that I will tolerate from Ranka. Ranka did not even try to resist. A tool to the end I am afraid… Supposing that was a real confession as translated at Macross World Forums and anime suki then it was the most yakk deculture confession ever! XD Oh my god Alto-hime does look deculture while wearing Sheryl’s earring, supposing that the translation is right you don’t meet a woman like that every day…

Kawamori played that real well, yakk deculture indeed at the whole earring thing. Hell every coiple got together at this point even Luca and Nanase… Still if nothing else Klein onee-chan was awesome, good to see that animation is now up to par again.
