World Destruction Ep 4: There are two types of humans (WDC members are much smarter this time round)

Kirie philosophy time!!!

This is the episode that you won’t see our destroyers being shown another (sick) wanted poster.

This is the episode that you won’t see our destroyers getting into too much trouble (Except the part Kirie broke a branch of the sakura tree)

This is also the episode that you will definitely see our destroyers wearing animal ears. (Bunny ears go-go!)

We get to see the different side of what the destroyers do when they reached Springland, where the entire year is spring throughout and beastmen are populated with, so to try to adapt Kirie and Morte has to disguise themselves as beastmen to adapt to their surroundings.

Animation is so much better than the previous episode (Along with smooth running animation and art) and getting a little serious on the plot now, though there are some funny moments throughout this week’s episode. The subs are much clearer now, thanks to dear subbers that are picking up the series. But there are some sad elements beneath the story related to beautiful Sakura trees (Sob, sob)

HOT!! Probably all male bloggers at THAT (With the exception of Impz and Crusader) will have blood drooling out of their noses and drown in their own blood pool.

So disguising as beastmen travelers, Kirie and Morte have to wear fake cat and rabbit ears just to aviod bloodshed and destruction for this episode (Hopefully not). I wonder why Toppi, being a member of the World Destruction Committee, not disguise into another beastman even though he’s already one. So there was this legend of the sakura trees told by a passerby, and it turns out to be heavy-hearted. The sakura trees will bloom beautifully, sucking out the blood of beastman for full bloom. Kirie is observant that they did not get to see any trees in the town, but they soon found the only tree standing just outside the town.

Wow, Naja sounds as if they are going to an amusement park to have FUN! (Too bad Ri A is not enjoying it, want to seek out bloodshed…must…kill…)

Meanwhile, back at the World Salvation Committee ship, our two salvation members are catching up with the destroyers in Springland (Where Naja makes it sound they are going to have FUN!). The lyrics of this song originated from the FUN song from Spongebob, but I changed the words a little to suit the storyline.

Naja: F is for friends, we save the world together
U is for you and me! ME! (With stupid grin)
N is for Anywhere and anywhere at all we have fun at the amusement park~ (KUMA!)

Ri A: F is for fire, we get to kill humans
U is for Uranium…GUNS! (Talk about Nuclear bombs)
N is for no Destruction Committee, ’cause we are going to save the world!!! (With evil laugh at the end)

Hey, Destruct Code. Tell me what’s going to happen to me tomorrow. Am I going to pass my Accounts test?

So the boss of this town decide to cut all the sakura trees and there will be only one of them outside the peaceful beastmen populated port. Guess what happens? Kirie discovered petals flying away and found the sakura tree standing glamorously, till Kirie accidentally broke one of the branches and that is when trouble began to brew. Soon, everyone avoid him and Toppi who seem them as outcasts of the place now, beastmen running away from the cursed fellows.

Lucky, no sick wanted posters this time. We are fugitives, actually…

Talk about unlucky. Luck is not out side from the beginning, Morte. You know that, after you’ve gambled our money away back at that casino ship.

Not as innocent as he looks, beware. Never judge a beastman what animal they are. Falling into the pit of DOOM is already bad enough.

The funny parts are not enough to make me laugh at this time, so let’s get on to picture-telling, shall we? Wait…I seem to have another song in my mind.

Kirie: F is for fun we get to do idiotic things together…
U is for the three of us…YEAH! Let’s destroy the world!
N is for never be separated as we will end this worthless world! (With me around, I will create more destruction than ever, since I have the power to do that!)

Morte: F is for facade there’s no use saving this ugly world
U is for Manchester United…SOCCER!
N is for nothing will be wasted if we get to destroy the world! (And save everyone else)

Some supernatural forces and being worked in this hill…beware

Toppi and Agan: F is for females we get to throw them in somewhere alone (And die of starvation)
U is for the two of us… (To the rise of manhood!)
N is for never believe what Morte say we will print money and we’ll be the richest men in the world, KUMA!~

Ok, enough of the song. We’ll continue it before I complete writing this post with all 6 destroyers of the world will sing together. BTW, Toppi and Agan were drinking booze at Springland’s bar while singing this.

Man…he broke one part of the tree. Might as well apologize to everyone in Springland but it will be too late by then…you’re jinxed now.

You’re already dead. Why bother coming here again when you’re a ghost now? (But I know that you love your lover dearly.)

This is going to be one messy problem. You’re scaring everyone away, except for Agan, who happens to be just beside you.

After scaring (almost) the whole town away by the made-up curse, Agan just happens to be in town, for those who do not believe in coincidence, well, sometimes in real life these things happen. I happen to be meeting one of my juniors in my school almost in all school events between last and this week, so it could also happen to anyone else too. But more bad luck is stirring on Kirie.

What coincidence! We meet again! (And don’t forget to print some money)

One way to scare all your opponents away during battles.

And it is also the time where too many unfortunate things happen to our destroyers, but the myth is made up, so it’s not true anymore, yeah! But Kirie and Toppi are trying to make it happen to everyone else in town, especially the World Salvation Committee…hmm~

OW! I hurt myself!

Oops, I cut the roots of the tree. More bad luck.

Let’s rename this episode ‘The Series of Unfortunate Events in Springland’

You’re quite the sadist, Kirie-kun. Trying to kill your best friend Toppi, eh?

Kirie needs to re-write his plans. He didn’t know what trouble he will be causing later on, his plans will be ruined and without Morte’s help, all they could do is run, run and more sprinting. Should consider taking Toppi into the Beijing Olympics next week…he could achieve the world record for 100m, 200m and all over track-and-field events to come.

Kirie’s even deadlier than Light/Kira’s Death Note. Mamo-kun~

Oh, shit. Wrong person, wrong time. Wait till Ri A turns into Dragon mode, and all of you will be dead meat.

Dragongirl, Dragongirl, she’s the girl who will save the world. She will dismantle the destroyers who are trying to destroy the world, and one day she will join them. Dragongirl, Dragongirl, she will always be by your side.

So meanwhile while the other two men are running away from Dragongirl, Morte paid a visit to Jade’s house and discovered that he can’t be possibly living in this ruined shack. She finds a photo with him and his lover (Which the war takes place 90 years ago), with Jade’s bracelet lying on the floor. She soon discovers that the Jade she and her fellow destroyers present was his spirit.

At the same time, Kirie and Toppi are still on the run as Ri A, who cannot even fly or swim to catch up with her enemies. But unfortunate for the both of them, Naja came out of thin air, riding on a motor boat, hopping Ri A into the boat. (Such modern technology, why does Kirie and Toppi choose a manual boat beforehand?). So planning to pretend to drown, that is the only thing that succeeded.

If there’s a girl (Probably Morte) drowning in the middle of the river, screaming for help, what would you do?

The frogman and his servants came to see the most exciting part of the plan, but accidentally stepped on the branch of the sakura tree. That spells trouble…

You’re in for a big, big trouble, Mr. Frogman…

So Kirie’s plan succeed this time round, and not to forget they drown themselves to make it look as if they are really unlucky in breaking the sakura tree branch. The truth is eventually revealed, and it was time for everyone to go. But meeting upon an old lady, she happens to have the same bracelet as the late Jade had on. What sad love story…

This love story takes place 90 years ago, so don’t go screaming if you meet a ghost next time, Kirie.

How old is this woman anyway? 100+? But it was still sad…If only Kirie and Morte be like this the story would be so different.

And not to forget, the last FUN song by all 6 World Destruction Committee Members (Alongside with Naja and Ri A.):

All: F is for frights we scare down the entire planet
U is for everlasting unity, yeah!
N is for ninnies, so we can wipe out the world in less than 1 second (With the Destruct Code + Kirie’s Destructive Powers)!!!

This episode actually was not exactly what I would expect from World Destruction. They actually talked about a ghost and his unwavering love for his girl. Although the medium by which they portrayed the plot was not exactly the best, it’s always fun and games around Kirie and Toppi. WDC is such a childish show but I like it anyways.

P.s. Morte was always cute…the buny ears just made her x10 cuter (I had a life vest on so I wouldn’t drown in my own blood)

I felt it would have been better if they hadn’t made him a ghost and had made the ending of the story more ambiguous; placing the old women at the end just feels a bit typical, though I was glad they didn’t show a drwan out reunion scene.
