I’ve watched this show since it first aired in the U.S. recently, and although I didn’t like her at first, I hope Cornelia isn’t another one of the casualties in Lelouch’s crusade.

Mmm… Here’s something interesting to note. Lelouch had his red Geass eye as he fell from the Sword of Akasha in his Shinkirou, but he didn’t have it when he returned to the Thought Elevator. Likewise, CC lost her forehead mark, and all her memories too.

My feeling is that Lelouch might have lost his Geass, but did he gain immortality? It’s a possibility, but I wouldn’t like that. Then again… if he gained the Code and somehow, CC managed to survive, does that mean he could give her Geass too? Interesting twist indeed. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. ;D

I believe that Lelouch’s geass is a reflection of his own despair at being powerless all his life. Subject to the winds of fate basically, and thus his desire to control his own destiny was made manifest, as was indicated in the first episodes of both seasons I think.

He has a lot of pent up anger to vent on his father, to make him suffer the way he did for so long. I don’t think Lelouch wishes to control people as much as he wants to command them, like a king or a great leader. His geass perfectly complements his natural charisma and intelligence.

Here’s something that *no one* has considered yet.

If Charles now possesses V.V.’s code and immortality, can he enter into Contracts with others like C.C. and V.V.? If so, is he going to give Schneizel or Suzaku a Geass to counter Lelouch? Maybe now that he knows Lelouch is Zero again, he’ll use Nunnally as his trump card by giving HER a Geass? Or Maybe Charles will screw us all and give Cornelia/Guinivere a Geass?

Things to think about as Geass heads towards the final episode.

No, not really. I’m very happy with this episode for one reason, it put my mind at rest abot a dew things. One as you /cannot/ lie to your geass. It /will/ reflect your actual goals. “No idea how old I am anymore” C.C. couldn’t escape that, no matter what she thought at the time her hearts desire wasn’t to die, it was to be loved, same as it always had been.

Charles wanted to alter what people believed to what he thought the “truth” was, away from what he was convinced they been fooled into believing what it was. Nietzchian-derived Social Darwinist.

The Geass power obtained reflects what you want deep in your heart. Before he wants /anything/ else, Lelouch wants to utterly control people. For Haruhi-sama’s sake, mull that one over. This is Peoples Revolution party secretariat type brain damage, and he /had it when we first met him/.

Now watch him go and “save” Nunnally. Bets on his concept of a “saved” Nunally being the self-actualized person confident with her power and her desires that we’ve met once she’s been removed from Lelouch? Or somebody that he has absolute control over every aspect of?

Watch him create a new world order. Bets on it having actual, real, independance and self-determination? Or will it be set up so that he can access it to do whatever he wants it to do or thinks it should be doing?

He didn’t even want to kill his father, he wanted to rub his nose in it. Make the old man humble himself in front of him and say he was sorry and Lelouch was the one who displayed virtue in his reaction to his mothers death. Intimate control of his actions.

That is one crazy ass nun for sure. It is interesting to note how the geass affected C.C., changing her from a desperate slave to a spoiled girl who is showered with attention. If you compare Lelouch to that, he has not had such a significant change in his personality. He has the same goals he always had even before the geass, and his attitude about them hasn’t changed. He might have gained some confidence, but that’s about it.

I am not sure I agree with this, though, I believe the Geass changed Lelouch quite a bit, including his goals.

Dam I don´t like CC in Chii mode, I luv the original CC… I liked the spoiled CC, the voice of Meilin Li… Ihope he gets her memories because I like CC, I want to know what happened in that year with Kallen… there´s and audio drama, but damn my japanese its just level 2…
I hope Kallen gets rescued soon, Lucciano is visiting her, why? and she is smirking?? there´s a speculation that says he might be the one who killed her brother and knows her, which I doubt, but who knows, they surprise us every chap I guess…
Where´s crusader I loved his argument with Halcycon about last chap, I learned so much, Calawain was dancing with so many posts in the chap review…

Eclipse is nice in the fact that they do use Xvid.
@Halcyon – Go for the .avi. Assuming you have a low end PC you can only run that… assuming you don’t have a craptacular PC then I have no idea. Have you tried using different MKV splitters?

Anyway. This episode just brought back lots of stuff. Episode 15 always has to be like this, a kinda recap episode for any anime really.

Kallen’s boobs got bigger in that little time she spent in her airtight shopping window, modeling that dress.
And CC… is undressing so like was she exploited when she was all loli? Well now that she’s like in her former mind do you think she’s gonna be all surprised that she has.. curves now? like she was all cutey back then and now she’s just hawt. But not immortal so I’m like wtf right now.

I can always come up with a drunken rant too if you want…
OK now I’m scared. Do you have to edit your post when Tsuruya says so or is that just a limiter thingy

EDIT: You know V.V. mentioned that Lelouch was a cursed prince but was that real? Like everyone around him is getting screwed over.
And think about Shirley’s mom. The dad died and her daughter died. So now she’s going to go to Charles, get geass, and open a can of whup ass on Lelou.
Then again, she could just kill herself. >>
You know speaking of which is Charles gonna give people geass now? Like… a tall dude in a wig giving out Geass… just doesn’t work graphically.
