World Destruction Ep 2- There are 2 paths for a world (And pity the bear)

Well, I just simply don’t care about the comments some of you wrote the other time. And of course I’m very upset about it, but I’ll settle some misunderstandings after I’m done with how the show goes. It’s getting late, and I have countless tests coming up for me. So this is going to take some time. I pity the poor bear, he just need a growth sprout and no one will belittle our little hero again. And I don’t mind if you really hate the genre of the show, and let’s not talk about it again or else I go blah blah blah…

Off with the (fake) cat ears, in with the end of the world and more beastmen appearing in the episode, as well as all the other heroes here. I really wish Agan had more screen time, but life still goes on. Kudos for Production I.G for showing this horrible (but epic) wanted poster of the ‘World Destruction Committee’ members. It seems even uglier than before and with Kirie and Toppi joining in, they could go as far as they can go to and commit seppuku and die without anyone knowing. And then the story ends here. No…just kidding…poor bear…fallen to the level of being a member of the World Destruction Committee. Ending up in Agan’s ship, they make deals with the guy and I just pity this teddy bear for this episode, he’s being ignored with Agan not knowing where he is until he told him to look down~kuma. (RV is starting to like him ending his sentence with ~kuma)

Dead….or Alive…. (With extras joining in with Morte)

So Agan leaves with his own ship, while the ‘World Destruction Committee’ members went on to the Pleasure ship, where wanted people like themselves can more freely and with hot chicks (Flashback at Code Geass R2 episode 1 with Kallen and her bunny suit) and an illegal casino. (Note to Agan: World Destruction Committee does not print money out of magic or whatsoever technology they had there.) So a beastgirl (lack for a better word) purposely trips on our heroes and steal Morte’s Destruct Code. without anyone realizing it.

No one prints money in this entire world. (Except the government, probably. I’m not into politics anyway)

Meanwhile we have Kirie and Toppi celebrating their ‘brotherhood’ and Morte went illegal gambling, winning in almost every round. Naja and Lia are introduced at the same time and at anytime Lia will kill every single person on the ship and enjoys her killing spree (Just be looking at her actions and taking her pistols each time.) So kids, never gamble in your entire lives or else all your possessions will be lost forever and Lady Luck will never return your calls again as this has happened to Morte when she’s up to a match against Naja. (And even use the can of can food as the Destruct Code.) I bet that Naja used the trick in 21, so instead of gambling, he’s counting cards. Cool, yeah? Otherwise he wouldn’t afford to get a 21/Blackjack in the first place.

With Toppi telling Kirie that there are two different types of women in the world, one type goes with staying alone and those who don’t and Morte happens to belong to the former choice~kuma. Getting the girl’s father out of the ship (Due to his bad gambling habits, you see, kids, never, EVER, EVER gamble in your entire lives, otherwise you’ll end up with debts piling up, declaring bankrupt after that.) And probably this is the 2nd time where Toppi have to give gold coins to ‘charity’ again, but I’m afraid not. Not going to be generous again, eh~kuma?

At the casino Morte is making losses as Naja comes in and ends up with no money. Using the can food as a Destruct Code, this is going to make a laughing stock among the World Salvation Committee if they accept her offer. Or they will follow Mozart’s footsteps, write an incomplete requiem and die of high fever.

Haha, tricked!

This is when Lia went into Killer Mode and starts shooting her babies out of her guns. So she went out of bullets, transforming herself into some kind of dragon, killing more people (But rest assured that no one is hurt or killed during the fight.) With the Destruct Code going from one person to another, this might as well pass as a Destruct Code pinball game. Finally it reaches into Kirie’s hands and just when the blond is going to crash into him she stopped (as if she knew him in the past). So our heroes escape, and the story ended when they escaped into another piece of land.

The other side of the story:

Thumbs down when we do not get to know what Morte’s life was like before the story starts, only showing a dead man and crying over her lover/brother, I don’t know.

Free of Charge? You see, we don’t print money…so you mind taking around the world for free?

I. AM. RIGHT. IN. FRONT. OF. YOU.

Insult no. 1

Insult no. 2: Boasting about yourself.

Insult no. 3: Leave the girl, we go on with life, to the rise of brotherhood!

I’M A DRAGON! FEAR ME!

Just by observing and analyzing at the preview of the next episode, the quality of the art seems to go down by my standards with some inconsistent parts (With Kirie looking a little different from the 1st 2 episodes). I hope this won’t keep up till then. But in anyways, not so much progression for this episode except with the bear insults (Petition to take Toppi as a pet, anyone?) and new characters. I’m turning in…writing this in the middle of the night…(grumble)(grumble)

I thought that this show would have nice graphics due to the premotion ad, but it’s IMO quite second rate. The concept was good when I first read it, but seeing how things turn out, I believe that they (directors) wish to show/encourage the viewers to support this group, by showing the injustice in the society (evil designs on the wanted sign)

though the only good thing bout this is the fake animal costumes. Other than that, we’ll be having character development first before nething of importance happens.

The series takes a totally different turn than what was expected from the promo, art included. But meh, I will continue, still looks like a series worth following for me.

Wait, there were flamewars concerning this show or something? But it’s just an adventure anime. Either pick it up or drop it. I don’t get those who hover around some shows like vultures. If you don’t like it, move on. That said, this show is a step above Night Wizard and I think it’s a worthy watch.

    @Shippoyasha
Night Wizard was really trying throughout the first few episodes but somewhere in the third section, when they stopped focusing on “Go here, get jewel, learn lesson”,it got quite good.
Hopefully the same will happen with this show, but I’m not holding my breath until I see Kirie MAN UP.
