I am wondering howcome Brera does not have the same connection that Ranka has with the Vajra.

I actualy felt kind of bad for the Vajra when Ranka began to sang and they stopped attacking. Alto massacred them. It felt weird seeing the NEW UN SPACY kick so much ass. I would not be surprised if Ranka changes sides.

well I suppose Galaxy survived the attack, I am curious to know why they are secretive. They have plenty of VF-27’s and they took a beating. I am not surprised to see Grace in her new body with bigger boobs.

I, LOVED this episode! Alto-hime was smexy, and so were the ships. All decked out with their nukes.I love that close-up you have up there of Alto’s Valkyrie with all his pack all open up and ready to tear it up. Its on Varja bitches!

Ahem sorry this one really got me fired up. You know its funny, being a woman and all I watch a lot of shows for romance, but I have to say I really, really look forward to the battles in this one. Maybe its because of all the pretty, pretty machines and their guns.

There were so many close ups of the gorgeous mecha’s.

Poor, poor Luca. He went out there all fired up and gung ho. But he was spent pretty early, the only thing he seemed to do well out there was get shot at. If he gets anymore girly then he must just have a chance with Nanase after all, all he needs is a green wig and he’s all set

And such is the power of Alto-hime’s prettiness that Sheryl showed absolutely no concern for poor Mikhail, whom she just almost got obliterated alongside herself.

I know she was only being true to her nature in taking action rather than just sitting back, but really what she did was bloody idiotic. She had a nice thing going since the enemy had no idea where she was, thanks to the perfectly executed Han Solo maneuver courtesy of Mikhail. Hubby keeps scaring me that he’s dead, that he will die of his battle wounds. Noooooooooo, he’s too pretty to die. It probably would have been better for her to hang around where she was at until help was closer.

And now, now the pretty VF-25G is in itty bitty pieces *cries* But I do have to give her points for bravery. Because what she did took guts even it was very stupid. But did she really think that after the pitiful amount of time she’d spent in class she could really fly a Valkyrie well enough to avoid enemy fire in the midst of a battle? Let us not forget the Ex-Gear in the school incident. Perhaps she might be better suited as a bridge bunny. Those girls are awesome ^-^ I really enjoyed all their banter.

But I do feel bad for Sheryl, since every time she tried to connect with her Alto-hime all he could do was talk about getting Ranka back. In any case though, she should probably stay out of Klein’s way… and take some more piloting classes so that she can better support her hime.

Brera has one heck of a sexy machine and Alto-hime has got to be dying to go all out in a fight with him again. I wouldn’t be too upset to see that myself.

Ahh what more can I say, except that every week I fall more in love with this show.

I agree with Halcyon that the Mini-aliens look like a warped version of bacteriophage, which, with the cells in the background, would suggest they’re going to multiply using Ranka’s cells to reproduce. Be curious to see whether they’ll only stay with Vajra Ranka-hime or if she can “infect” the others.

On a side note, poor Mikhail! He’s incredibly lucky that he didn’t get forgotten once he and Sheryl got ejected into space

Keep in mind that they still fragged Ramaria after Ranka started singing, now as for whether the bugs are willing to share a galaxy remains to be seen. If Brera was once a Vajra colony himself I am sure Grace took all of that out replaced it all with cybernetics assuming Brera was intact before she found him.

Diamond Force is and perhaps will always be a cut above the rest, even if they go un-named.

We shall see if Grace Mk II got an upgrade in cup size…

Sheryl will become a pilot sooner or later its not like she can jump start her career with Grace still mucking things up. She’s not combat ready yet but if she starts learning from Master Klein things will be very different in no time at all.

I don’t care how they are getting the money for it but I want more…

It’s not like this is the first Aliens ripoff, and women giving birth to strange things is nothing new in anime.

I still think Sheryl is going to be a pilot since there are no more free positions left. Klein-sama however just got an opening in her vic so… Let’s hope that Klein decides to take Sheryl under her wing and hopefully along with Alto-hime too. I have to say that this was at least on par with Episode 7 in terms of awesome battle and dogfights. The Amror Pack is my kind of pack, and hopefully Alto-hime will start using it instead of the Super Pack. Though Hime has much to learn if hime wants to get on Ozma’s level of rapid lock ons.

I think Sheryl made the fight choice in trying to get back into friendly lines, because we all know how quickly NUNS broke out the nukes. It would not have been good to remain hidden on an enemy cap ship when your buddies are trying to blast the your position to bits. Sheryl did get a ride with Alto-hime for losing Mikhail’s VF-25G…besides it wasn’t hers. I wanted he to at least get close to a friendly vessel but alas her kick to the cap ship tipped off the Vajra pretty quickly.

I think Ranka is going to have a really tough time now that her Alto-hime is out to frag her new Vajira family. Sheryl on the other hand I can see her getting some support from the Pixies and the Bridge Crew.

You say show, but we all know that you mean Alto-hime.

If they have a full Macross sized vessel then they sure are trying to keep it a secret though I suspect that Macross Quarter is the only one they got right now, if they had two it would kind of infringe upon the uniqueness of the Transforming Battleship. It’s probably like Highlander, there can be only one.

Who needs knives when they got the Falcon Punch? I think the Boys and girls and NUNS did pretty well they did end up fragging more cap ships as they had more nukes.

I guess Pilot-hime is the only one allowed to boost his power levels by yelling. Hopefully Sheryl will become a pixies and Luca gates one dayto and a kiss before he goes bye bye. Brera is going to make Pilot-hime’s live hard as hell. The fight is want to see though is Ozma vs Brera…too bad they have to play nice now. It’d be funny if Brera gets assigned to Macross Quarter from now on…

Awesome episode I love how Luca managed to get shot down twice in one episode without accomplishing anything while he was trying to show his badassness.
Really, serves him right. I mean how can you expect anyone to believe your talk about how muy macho you are if you do it while wearing those awful shota pantsu. When I watched the raw I could almost hear his shoes squeaking and my mind somehow translated the dialogue like this:

Nanase: “Luca-kun, you must be careful.Your confidence is disproportional to your abilities. You think losing is winning.”
Luca:” Heh? Uh, uh– Huh?
Nanase: “Wait for Alto, the Chosen Hime will be there to help us. I like him a lot, and–
Luca: “- Listen ! Shh. I see the way you look at him. I’m a man, too, you know. I go pee-pee standing up.”
Nanase: “Hmm. Mm.”
Luca: “I will defeat them on my own!”
Nanase: “Please, don’t.”
Luca: “I will…” - runs away - “defeat them!”

It was a great victory to be sure, but a wipeout like this almost seems to guarantee bad times are a coming to the fleet. Especially if Grace MkII has anything to say about it.

Hmm, if Brera were to join the fleet that could either pull Ranka and hime further apart. Since hime will have to get past Brera-nii, so Sheryl would be on hand to help calm him down and that would bring them closer together.

Or he’d be so focused in his rivalry, which would involve trying to beat Brera at spending time with Ranka that Sheryl would be forgotten on the side lines.

Either way it would be fun to watch Brera wind up hime, he’s pretty when he’s angry. Then again when isn’t the man pretty right?

I’m telling you if Luca either dies his hair green or employs the use of a fake wig, that dato with Nanase is guranteed!

BTW, just checked, her name is Raramia (not Ramaria). It’s bad enough dying like Kakizaki, but to get your name spelled wrong posthumously is just…

@d3v: Actualy the pin-point barrier punch was pionered by the SDF-1. The Deadlus Attack. Then Isamu Dyson tought it would be a great idea use that when he was fighitng Guld in Macross Plus OVA 4.

@Crusader: Poor Luca, I tought of out everyone he was going to go down first since he is flying in Kakizae’s colors. I dont think Shoji is going to give him a death card in this series. I speculate that Luca will finaly tell Nanase his feelings at the end of the series so by default he has to live in order for all of us to see what she says and us fans have a peace of mind.

Here are some random toughts=
I still dont understand how the VF-27 was able to go back in forth to Frontier without being detected. His aircraft would have been picked up by various ships. Even if he has active stealth, just the fact of him folding in and out would of been picked up by someone at close range. I wonder if the cannon fodder VF-27’s are in Frontier also hiding.

What does Monica see in Colonel Wilder?

I want to know more about Medic, it would be great to have a love square of Ozma, Medic, Cathy, and Bobby lol.

When are we going to see VF-171’s with fast packs??

Well the simplest explanation is that most flights follow a set flight plan that’s registered with the system, so only folds that aren’t scheduled or deviate from the plan cause alerts. GRace probably just hacked in and entered Brera’s flight plan in.

NOOOOOOO Someone else died and what was even sadder is that we barely knew her, but still she was awesome! Goodbye Raramia*Snif. Everything was kewlio but I wanted Hime-kun to save Ranka at least and not red hot stuff…..Grace is just freaking me out every time she comes back as if nothing ever happened….O_o But Sheryl was awesome since she took control and at least saved herself and Mr. Bloody head. It is super sad to know that Ranka is truly the Vajra queen and that she will have to suffer. I really want to know her family background, and how she is going to cope with everything, especially if Hime-kun isint there to protect her….dun dun dun ….I love the suspense! THNX^^
