It wasn’t complete genocide. But a great deal of the Japanese population was being murdered by Euphie, good enough for me to be considered genocide. The point that was made, is that the true root of this genocide comes from Lelouch and thus Suzaku is not the night of the genocide queen. Kallen is the night of the genocide king.

lol… as for being Genocide, it is not like he is killing innocent people and to clarify Euphy was not a genocide either, it was just funny how they said it, so I pointed that out. But do u really think Kallen is killing innocent people?

And well abt Nunnally, she was and is in danger and wasn’t that the reason they were living under alias?… I am not sure in that part though.

Anyways, both sides have their good and bad intentions and actions, according to me… there is no all positive team, after saying all that I think I am on Lelouch’s side but his emo side and evil laugh still irritates me.

On a more funny note, I do like his tell-the-emperor-I-wan-him-dead attitude because that’s what makes his character interesting for me to watch.

You do realize all that shows is the degree that Lelouch has decieved the world? Kallen’s the real Knight of the Genocide Prince, and it looks like she’s become ok with that.

And its about time somebody pointed out that one leg of Lelouch’s tripod of justification for his actions has been blown up, retroactively. The only danger Nunally ever was in stemmed from her being the ward of her tell-the-emperor-I-want-him-dead-to-his-face older brother. Without him she would have been perfectly fine. Lelouch just admitted that to himself, hence emo mode.

Hopefully, Lulu is over the whole emo mode and is getting on some masterplan to get Nunnally back and crush the Britanians.

Btw, luved Suzaku’s nickname “The Knight of Genocide Princess”. It was tym they realized he was a traitor.

Also unfortunate for the Black Knights is that everyone aside from Toudou and Kallen is such a throwaway in a knightmare. Compare that to the three Rounds as well as folks like Guilford that the Brittanians have and they are at an even greater disadvantage. It will be nice if they find a way to bring back the Gawain so at least the Black Knights can offer a good fight in an ace vs. ace battle such as you suggested.

Anyway, whatever you do after the summary I hope you have fun doing it as believe it or not I’ve got nothing against your blogging style, just disagreed with some points. Honestly they’ve got a good balance of comedy to impression in them so I think you have a good thing going. Might as well continue in my opinion. Take that as some positive feedback if you will. Sometimes though I guess it is just better to watch an episode. Depends on the show really.

No, why would I ever read your blog? I don’t agree with just about anything you say. To be honest I only see you posting negative stuff here and on everyone else’s blog. If you have such distaste for my blogging style, or Crusader, or anyone else’s, why are you even here posting? Do you really have nothing better to do then read stuff you dislike and bitch about it? Hah, well the animation quality did take a bit of a dip this episode in several spots. There wasn’t much action so I guess they figured they could go cheap.

Well he did rescue the Black Knights, but yeah, aside from that he hasn’t really done anything decisive. He hasn’t won any battles, in fact they lost all their Knightmares except for the Gurren.

It has the stuff of a great series, but I do agree it’s just as fun switching off your brain and watch this like the next Michael Bay movie. I know…absolute blasphemy isn’t it?

also, i laughed when nina’s image popped up, it reminds me that lelouch doesn’t know she hates him with a passion. or rather, zero.

Oh man, I’m really not sure if it’s worth the time to seriously respond to this statement. Perhaps you should watch Gundam SEED and Destiny a few times and then maybe you will realize how laughable your statement is. Destiny is somewhere near one of the top grossing anime in sales and it is a steaming pile of laughable characters that are impossible to become attached to. I mean, how can you take it seriously after that?

Point still stands regardless. Perhaps you should watch something other than Seed/Seed Destiny (which I agree are poor on the character development front, but also feel that it has nothing to do with this series characters being likable whatsoever) and stop making it out to be the sole example of a Sunrise mecha series and maybe check out something like Escaflowne or Turn A Gundam. Then we’ll talk.

It isn’t a matter of translation, it’s a matter of making connections between seperate pieces of dialogue. C.C mentioned that V.V and Charles swore to each other many years ago and are very close and later he refers to V.V as nii-san. It’s pretty easy to make the connection between what C.C and Charles said as something like a blood pact because nothing makes sense any other way. Perhaps I can agree that it can also be interpreted the way that gg has it, but I also think that both interpretations apply.

I didn’t say it wasn’t “necessary” I said it wasn’t enjoyable to watch. Just because it’s required “character development” doesn’t mean it’s entertaining.

To me this episode is enjoyable to watch though. It’s not a case of enterainment, but rather a case of delving into the motivations for the characters actions and whether they are flawed or not, from Nunally’s decision to reinstate the special zone to Lelouch wondering if his Zero persona is even needed anymore. To me that is enjoyable and interesting stuff to watch, though if that’s not your cup of tea as I said to each his own.

And your comments provide an endless source of laughter for those of us normal people who are able to laugh at shows we enjoy and not see a show only with SERIOUS BUSINESS glasses on.

Whatever man, I’m just as normal as any person, but you’ve got to realize that I’m all willing to joke and laugh and have fun at stuff (In fact I’d describe myself as bit of a clown) like Lelouch and Rolo’s implied Yaoism and the idea of a little girl being a governor, but not at the expense of actually getting the most out of a show by taking in all it has to offer. I take it you’ve never read any of my articles as I lace them with jokes, quips and barbs to keep things interestings, but always make sure I bring each point back down to earth and ponder everything that has happened at some point to have the best of both worlds. I think that’s where we differ the most.

I actually enjoy the show because I feel no emotional attachment to any of them though I will be sad if Karen or Kaguya dies but any other characters… I don’t care. My emotional detachment may be attributed to the fact that this is not my genre of choice but I would like to see Lelouch going back to being deliciously evil once again. Emo *pukes*
