I agree with the bathroom scene 110%! When I was reading this manga a while ago (In a libary mind you) when I saw her open her shirt and say, “Drink from me.” I was like OMG!!! That is sweet! So I was compleatly hyped for this episode. (And scared, I thought they might censor it, so glad they didn’t! ^^;) I also had a compleate Fan-Girl meltdown when I accually saw it. Screaming, “OMG”-ing, the works. Yuuki offers herself in a way that’s cute (-^^-)and endearing, not trashy or weird(The scene could have been totally akward -_-;) So yea the sexy-but still edgy neck biting scene gets my vote-bar none.

LOVED THE BLOOD SUCKING. Especially when she threw her head back and her neck was just elongated as Zero chugged away. It was hot.

man! I’m so glad that blood-drinking scene didn’t get censored in the anime…I really thought they weren’t gonna be so graphic. I loved it!! (but..there is undoubtedly a much better scene than that in the future ><…can’t wait to see it!!!)

I know what you mean…Zero can be so emo…I just want him to start getting angry and start kicking Kaname’s ass. Uh…sorry to say but…this isn’t the end to Zero’s emo-ness….

The scene with kaname in the anime seemed a bit cold. I liked the manga version better…i ‘felt’ it more. But..who cares about Kaname anyway?!?!

I actually am really pleased with the development of Zero, Yuuki, and Kaname (coming from reading the manga). I’ll have to say that Kaname’s actions towards Yuuki and just his overall presence and reaction towards EVERYTHING make him seem so detached, but I think he truly is. (Just relying on everything before this point, so no spoilers) On the one hand, he’s loyal to his fellow vampires; but on the other, he’s so very loyal to and protective of Yuuki. He really showed emotion when he put out Yagari’s cigarette, I loved that scene. I’m a big Kaname fan, as I’ve said before, so seeing his character develop really thrills me.

I did love the scene between Yuuki and Zero, though. It was such a beautiful scene, but so so chilling at the same time. I don’t think I have too much more to add to that sentiment. Yuuki shows through these actions that she’ll go through anything to protect Zero.

I also really liked when Ruka jumped to defend Kaname against Yagari. Seeing some slight development in the other vampires besides some they have already featured, like Aidou, is really wonderful. I hope to see more of this as the story develops.

LOL.Did you have to ask? The bloodsucking scene of course :).2nd : Kaname’s meeting with Yuuki and Yagari. O, and I liked the chess part as well.I didn’t understand what Kaname said but I think it was (or something like):”Yuuki ,… she is very kind hearted…”
Damn, I enjoyed this episode :3.The moment Yuuki put her hand on Zero’s neck while he was sucking her blood was so romanticly sensual (more romantic than sensual XD), altough it was more a sign of trust and emphaty.
Both Kaname and Zero looked great in this episode.

@Blissmo: YOU HATER! Honestly, I really find that it feels really sensual when Zero bites Yuuki. It just seems sexy of sorts. I guess I am queer.

@Dan: I think that being emo is fine due to the amount of suffering that Zero has been through. However, for the people around him, his emoness is affecting Yuuki as well as Yagari. People who care for him are being pulled down by him, hurting them in the process when he does not want to hurt anyone.

Even though he is not physically harming them, their emotions are hurt quite badly. Nonetheless, we need him to whoop some good vampire ass and chill out. Oh, and rabu rabu with Yuuki if possible.

@Xias: it’s definitely worth looking into at least! I cannot wait to buy the DVD release when it does come out. Ho ho ho~

@Audishah: Hahahaha, I felt that the shoujo + action factor is much more vivid and livid in the anime version of Vampire Knight. STudio Deen has continued to impress me greatly in its attempt to tell the story. It has not changed it too much, but has added some additional details to flesh out Kaname in particular. I do not remember seeing that much of Kaname, and Kaname in the anime leaves a much deeper impression.

the anime brings out the action quite good; there arent much to imagine from the manga(so shoujo~~).somehow i cant wait when it’ll catch up wth the manga, then we can see some real vampire fighting i guess^^

This one time I will disagree regarding acting “emo.”

He realized that he will essentially die, he was turned into something that he hates and that something is alike the one who killed his family, he has hurt Yuuki, can kill her at any time, etc, etc.

I think he has the slight right to be “emo” for a long while.

Anyways Zero please start whooping ass.
