As dumb as Alto-hime is about love it fits in line with all their interaction thus far. It was less romantic when Ranka and Alto-hime shared the screen more of a brotherly affection cord was struck rather than the intimacy that Sheryl was using. Ranka is taking her first steps into womanhood so it should come as no surprise that no one not even Ozma sees her as anything more than a child, but again Ranka is growing up and she will be a woman, the trick is to convine Alto-hime that she is there.

Ranka is just 15 , it would be odd to see her acting like Sheryl,and that would mean the loss of her childish side.She'll catch up in beauty , intelligence,sharm and chimistry with Sheryl, but everything at it's time.
