Ahh but Kakashi-sensei aka Kazuhiko Inoue is Miyagi! <– Who makes me giggle.

The funny parts are a hoot ^-^ there should be more of them. And I have to agree with the fave choice of pairing. Hiroki in his glasses is yummy!

I agree with the funny faces issue. i was checking the manga, which had more less five funny faces parts, haha. Also they took off a pretty important part of the manga for me, hope they do a much better job in episode 6

@ Cherubium: True, it’s better than having a girly voice. I didn’t notice the omake at the end of episode 3 until I’ve watched episode 5, though, so I didn’t have any big reaction to the six years thing. It did follow the manga, I think.

And if it’s angsty, at least it was presented well (in the manga). I can accept that.

@ Issa-sa: I didn’t think their bad communication problems are ridiculous, personally. I think it was pretty realistic. Perhaps it’s just that I’ve seen too many couples who don’t actually communicate with each other and breaking up as a result. Episode 5 didn’t have a stellar presentation, I agree. But it wasn’t so bad that it was unwatchable.

Although I agree, somehow after watching episode 5, I’m more inclined to Misaki and Usagi after all, although I thought their relationship is probably the most shallow out of the three couples.

@ bamboowitch: Thanks for the enthusiasm! I’m glad someone like these reviews.

@ Nagato: I didn’t like the insertion of Usagi/Misaki in the Nowaki/Hiroki story arc either. Stupid presentation again. Unfortunately, the manga is based on three different couples, so I guess there’s no way the anime could be that different as to only focus on one.

@ bamboowitch (again ): Which episode are you referring to? If you mean episode 3, when Nowaki received the flowers from Hiroki, well, yeah, sorta. He rushed from the door to Hiroki sitting in the room. Does that count? It was a good scene. And a good monologue courtesy of Hiroki. I like it, anyway.

just realises- it took me ages to write a comment… and the most part of it vanished! O.o Why does this always happe to me Anyhows garh must rewatch episode 3 and watch episode 5…but I can’t find the eng subs *cries* Oh well

Did Nowaki jump from the other side of the room to hug Hiroki in the anime… I hope he does

I dunno, I feel that every time the story starts focusing on one couple, my mind starts wandering to another one. I guess it’s my cynical mind reacting to Usagi and Misaki’s jealous fits so I roll my eyes towards Hiroki and Nowaki… only I roll them again when they start having ridiculously bad communication problems and start looking forward to Mr “My Sweet Honey” in the hope that his coupling isn’t so incessantly EMO. JR seems to work best when it’s on whimsical comedy mode since the ‘romance’ seem to be a string of how-NOT-to-conduct-a-successful-relationship moments.

I agree, Itou has been other roles in BL anime. It doesn’t really work and it kind off screws the mood. Hey it could be worst with some girl voice.

I was like 0.0 and then T.T when I say the omake at the end of episode 3. 6 years later and Hiroki gets a msg from Nowaki just makes everything feel super angsty. Can’t wait till aarinfantasy subs it.
