Muraski is so adorable. I remember there was one ep where she snidely mimics a child on TV, which is strange since she's most likely about the same age as her. She's like an adult-kid. Which is kind of cute really.

I actually prefer the other love interest (What's her name? Ginko or something; she wears specs) just because she doesn't go all out like Yuuno does. It's annoying.

With that said, the main attraction of this series is definitely the interactions between the 2 main characters: Murasaki and Shinkuro. It's just so adorable.

@Impz: I certainly got a better impression of Yuuno now that we know a bit more about her background. I wonder if we'll get to see her fight more as she is certainly skilled at it.

I don't get any "sexual" vibes from this show other than Tamaki's remarks. I think that is a bit rare these days with anime and all the fanservice going on and all. Even Kaiba had sexual themes in it since episode 2.

I personally feel that Yunno is finally given some back story rather than the typical mysterious love interest. One thing well done in this episode is that despite being a mostly character development episode, it still shines. I am happy that Yuuno gets this treatment, so that we understand why Shinkurou is somewhat close to Yuuno.

Oh, the "eat me" part is definitely the climax of this show. The ability of the show to make Murasaki completely unsexual made the line even funnier and becomes more innocent than thinking like a lolicon. Great stuff.

@Calawain: You're right, not much has happened so far. All we've seen so far was a few random events and a little bit about mainly Shinkurou and Murasaki's past. But I'm starting to wonder if the point of the show is not what will happen, but the little "adventures" that Shinkurou and Murasaki have. Although, the next episode does seem to take a more serious tone.

Murasaki has indeed grown from the first episode. I haven't noticed much growth in Shinkurou, but I can tell that he has to mature in order to protect Murasaki.

@otou-san: Even if the rest of the season was like this, I honestly wouldn't mind. But I doubt that will be the case. For me, the main plot has seemed to take a backseat for Murasaki highjinks.

This would have been called "filler" on another show, but the dialog is so clever and the characters are so charming it's hard to go wrong. I love how uniquely jarring it is when they juxtapose the ultra-violence in with all the cute interactions between Shinkurou and Murasaki, but this ep. proves they can go without and still be successful.

Another amazing episode of Kure-nai. I mean, little has happened action wise in 5 episodes, but I could watch this show all day just for the dialogue and exchanges between the characters. It's fast paced, back and forth, and quite entertaining. But on the more serious side we have seen a huge amount of growth so far in Murasaki and Shinkuro, and it looks like it will continue.
