@Shokkeru: I have only read six chapters of the manga so far, so I can’t really say much. But while the main idea seems to be the same, some character relationships and their portrayal in general does indeed differ from the anime version.

@Dando008: I believe Renjou is the father of Murasaki as well as one, if not “the”, head of the Kuhouin family. He’s that old man that appeared in episode 1 and 2.

I was more interested in Benika’s story when she talked about Murasaki’s mom, Souju. She mentioned that she already had three children. And a guy named Renjou was either some gaurdian or maybe the father of those kids maybe. I am just curious to see the relations Murisaki’s family have.

@Myu: I haven’t read the manga or anything before watching this show. Did they wander off from the original plot? Or is it pretty much the same so far. I’m expecting the part of his past about the Houzuki’s horn will be at least a bit interesting to watch.

Yeah, the revelation was more effectively done in the manga, I must say. But maybe it doesn’t end here and we’ll get to see more of it, from different perspectives, perhaps? What with Ginko also being there too.

Yayoi’s rant, though, was thoroughly entertaining.

True, Shinkurou’s past was like … er .. “meh”
