Mx0 and Hatsukoi Limited going to be cut off from Shounen Jump…WTF?

These are sad days. According to Canned Dog, the usual Shounen Jump insider that lurks 2ch has revealed that 3 mangas are going to get cut off in 3 or 4 weeks. Those series are Mx0, Hatsukoi Limited and Poseidon.
While I don’t really care about Poseidon (random gag manga), I can’t really believe this news about Mx0 and Hatsukoi. Mxo is one of the best Mahou School mangas from the last years, filled with comic moments and mixed with a nice school romance plot. The unique magic system it uses allows for fresh ideas in a genre that had spent most of the general concepts you could devise.
And how is Hatsukoi Limited ( aka: Hatsukoi Gentei), a manga created by the author of Ichigo 100%, going to get shafted? This sounds like a really bad dream.
I only hope that the mangakas can publish their mangas in another magazine or editors, like what happened to Trigun in the past.
Me, Calawain and mike from Anime|Otaku are crying non-stop….

Wow, and just when I had decided to pick up Mx0 not even a month ago. It’s like how I felt with Jericho getting cancelled all over again. What’s next to get axed then, Gintama. Going by the trend of Shonen Jump cutting off serials I actually like I’m a bit worried that could happen.

Well I’m pretty sure they cancelled Andromeda because it was terrible. As for MxO and Hatsukoi Limited, this is truly heartbreaking. Those two are probably the best two manga in Jump right now besides Bleach and Reborn, now that
SasukeNaruto is terrible. What’s worst about Mx0 is that the story is only like 1/3 or less done. It feels like the main plot just started and if it’s really over… I can only hope it gets picked up somewhere else.@JohnG: for a sci-fi show in the lines of Star Trek, Andromeda was nice (it’s Gene Rodenbery afteralll…)
And I liked the concept of a sentient ship…and a female one to boot…
@Extrange It was ok/decent until Kevin Sorbo’s raging ego got in the way. The last season was an abomination.

Yeah L-chan, One Piece was EXCELLENT! I loved all those episodes and I watched them all 2 times. -It makes me feel a bit nerdy- lol.
But I hope no more of those get cancelled or we are all in DOOM!
Way to miss the biggest cancellation - Hunter X Hunter.
But anyway, I’m going to miss Hatsukoi Limited. Where am I going to get my shounen romance fix now?

I can’t believe such a funny, creative, exceedlingly well drawn manga like Mx0 is getting dropped. Lupus are you saying HxH is getting canceled too? After everyone wanted it to come back for so long?(don’t follow it myself)

OMG, not Mx0!!! Its one of the top mangas I wait for each week, and that last chapter had a great cliffhanger. The main lead is too awesome. Gonna really miss my weekly fix of Mx0, hopefully it finds a new home somewhere so that I won’t have to miss it for long, or forever

Also why does Rosario + Vampire get a second season after the mess it made of season one (love the manga, painful to watch the anime), whereas Mx0 doesn’t get an anime but instead faces termination, Kuzumi may be too GAR to be animated I suppose.
Well that’s shonen jump for you, the place to kill creativity, and where chash cows are born, for real every single manga that is somewhat out of the box in shonen jump standars gets canned, no wonder the authors in that magazine don’t even boder to change the formula since dragon ball run, it’s a shame thAT SUCH TALENTED manga ka get wasted in this magazine, it’s uttery surpricing that the clamore mang maded that far in the monthy run, or people just like girls with big swors lol, anyway if this turns out to be true i will give up this magazine at once, naruto(garbage), bleach(waste of my time)d grey man(somewhat holding on)sysren(it was interesting in the begining but a see it going the path of the n and b)one pice(to tiresome too long being reading it since chapter one but a’m tire already)mxo and hatsukoi were the ones to still keep me coming back, mxo was refreshing, and the romance part of hatsukoi was better than 80% of shoujos out there, to love ru doesn’t count for some is entertement for me is utter garbage way to waste a talented manga ka, with crapy story writing, well i should end may rant or i will end up having my week ruin lol.
Dunno. I can sorta see hatsukoi limited getting the boot. The story was a bit too disjointed for me, you shouldn’t have to wait 20ish chapters for a story to start developing any kind of real cohesion. Mx0 did kind of catch me by surprise though. There’s much much worse stuff running in jump >.>

Hatsukoi is not THAT great, but is not garbage like Naruto and MXO is MUCH MUCH better than almost all the Mangas in jump, I mean seening a “Powerless” guy having to deal with unreal situations in a magic school is very refreshing.
Naruto stopped being good since…. well Filer Hell destroyed the little interest that I had in Kanuto.
Oh well this rant is long enough, but before post.

I’m very sad about the news :(. I hope some nice mind editor grab the Mx0 to continue publishing it.
Please just erase chapter 99. or atleast the last pages.

Lets just boycott Shonen Jump for those who are ordering the englsih version.
Pretty sad days ahead. I always looked forward to reading MX0. It’s a more realistic Maburaho, but more importantly, I liked the fact the characters didn’t have to completely degrade themselves to get pathetic “fanservice” attention like what Maburaho had to consistently do. My two favorite mangas to read every week were MX0 and Fairy Tale. However, even Fairy Tail is starting to get predictable, and Bleach is satisfactory, but Naruto has been somewhat disappointing and all the other new mangakas or continuing ones aren’t necessarily doing it for me. It really is such a surprise when an editor makes a decision such as this to retain a series such as “To LoveRu” and “D-Grayman” over a stellar piece as MX0.
omg this sucks Mx0 was one of my favorite it was so good plus i always looked forward to reading it and the same for Hatsukoi Limited this is a sad day for all who were love Mx0 and Hatsukoi Limited
ur full of craps!!! Mx0 was really great and iwas really expecting more episodes to come and u just suddenly left it to hang their!! i hope u still contn. the manga even if it takes u half a year………..
