@blissmo: The part with the anatomy doll was probably my favorite part of the episode as far as Murasaki cuteness goes.

@impz: Shinkurou could have indeed wiped the floor with those punks easily. But either because that's just the way he is or (as irem said) because he didn't want to put Murasaki in danger. Whether or not if it was the right thing to do (he did calm the situation down without any conflict after all) is probably up to debate.

After watching episode 4, I have a feeling Yuuno might not be so bad after all. She just seems a bit shady since we don't know much about her yet. I'm guessing Ginko doesn't like her because of jealousy since Yuuno is always spending time with Shinkurou.

@irem: I'm not so sure how often stuff like that actually happens in real life. In most place there would probably be someone there to stand up and say something (in this case Murasaki). Shinkurou may have been right to avoid conflict to protect Murasaki, but I still can't approve of his methods.

This episode was extremely good and funny, yes currently Murasaki is the cutest anime child for me.

That train scene was very interesting, and surprised me. I don't know Japanese culture either, in my country no punk can dare to act like that to an elder, the whole bus beat him for sure. But in the anime I think what Shinkurou did at the train is a wise, correct decision. He acted that way because he did not want to cause Murasaki get hurt. He is responsible for Murasaki's safety. While he beat one of those guys, the other one could hurt Murasaki. Sure it is not cool but very realistic.

I personally like the scene when Murasaki appears. It's just so cute when she goes bossing around. I do wonder about the last thing. Yes, Murasaki might not know about society's norms, but what kind of norms dictate that you can allow an old lady to suffer while you close one eye?

I feel that Shin is completely wrong on that count. Yes, it is perhaps wiser to just ignore it completely since it has nothing to do with you. However, how can you allow an old lady to suffer to protect your own skin.

It is perhaps true that I will not have the guts to do that in reality. How many of us will actually try to fight against punks. We worry about ourselves, but this is a different scenario. Shin can definitely fight but refuse to. Murasaki proves that she has true noble blood. I am proud of her for standing up. If everyone is to be a coward, who will be fighting for peace?

In addition, I really wonder why Yuuno is so hated. She seems quite normal. Maybe it's just a jealous cat fight?

This episode was extremely good with a lot of the cuteness coming from Murasaki, especially when she didn't know that the guy in half was just a doll.
