By this time next year it is my fervent wish that this will be animated.
So it’s been one year and 111 posts (not including this) and yet I feel as ignorant as ever though I guess I am supposed to offer a bit of wisdom, not that I have much to offer. I almost forgot it was today, and looking at the wiki entry for April 8th its about as dreary anniversery as it gets what with the start of the siege of Leningrad and the Japanese seizure of the Bataan Penninsula. Nevertheless, by Jove it really has been one year since Impz locked me away and chained me to his blog while I was stuck at my unit running support for a change of command. So have I learned anything, a bit, but still not a lot…

So I am a nerd of many years and I have to say as kamraden between fellow anime fans go we are possibly the worst of the lot in the nerd totem pole (we are way below the historical miniatures and warfare crowd). At least with AD&D you have to learn how to get along with real people. Well, unless you like being a dictatorial GM and even then with the gaming crowd there is at least a barrier of entry to ensure that the angrier persons among us have to at least waste money before they can fap their gobs, among other things. Given that there are so many genres and so many studios to fanboy it’s hardly surprising that there is no shortage of irate fellows lurking the interwebs. It still amuses me how far south some of my posts went, just goes to show that no matter the medium people will be people and people can be assholes, I know I am. As the barrier of entry for anime is decidedly lower given how much piracy we engage in it comes as no surprise that given the vast number of opinions that people will inevitably clash in wars of ideology for no real purpose other than to waste time and create spectacle for those on the sidelines. The prevalence of piracy and piracy through other means should not surprise you that within the anime fandom there is no greater hive of scum and villainy, you must be cautious.
So yeah don’t take this stuff too seriously. It’s the internet and gems like this are found everyday:

So laugh it’s not like you know all of these people personally.
Dynamics of Team Blogging
I still think it was a happy hiccup of fate that led me here to this blog. I am pretty sure that Impz was desperate to find some ignorant blogging slave and I answered his/her call like some unwitting creature caught in his/her trap. The great thing about being part of team is that the burnout is much more delayed and it’s always good to use your mates as editors to vet your posts before they go public. It also helps to have people literate in code when your dumb ass can’t make heads or tails of wordpress.
Yes, I am probably the most hated blogger here, quite why Impz, Briar, Calawain, Shokkeru, Extrange, Igunis, Rieuzedx, Lupus, and Reverse Vampire can tolerate my continual presence is still something that perplexes me. I mean after all they are generally nice blokes that are mild mannered, heck I only saw Impz get mad about ABA. Besides I think being the NKVD of THAT Blog might also have something to do with it, busy and dirty work disposing of heretics and spam. I think that by keeping a creature of pure evil around that they look all the more saintly. I know Impz looks way more moe.
Lastly be true to yourself. Each person here has something to offer there are times to compromise and there is a time to be tenacious, but always do what you feel is right. The worst kind of treachery is the one you inflict upon yourself.
