The quality of the animation looks good, but the bishies…….umm wtf I thought some of them were girls. I get scared when that happens.

@ issa-sa: From what I’ve seen from the first episode of the 26 episode anime, I think this OVA is better. I thought the characters were completely soulless when I first watched it, and never did have the interest to continue. This OVA, though, makes me watch it through. And despite the less than complete story, what was said is enough to convince of the statement fans made of how Harukanaru 3 has the best storyline out of all the games.

@ Impz: Which OVA are you talking about? The heroine in this anime didn’t cry more than once, I think, and that’s for a reason that I thought was justified. And she certainly didn’t emo. But the bishies definitely sparkles. Much as I like bishies, I cannot stand bizarre hair and even I have my limits with regards to sparkles.

Still, it’s a good anime. If it is a full length, has a beginning and end sort of anime, it might even be able to match up with Fushigi Yuugi.

@ Seii: Oh yeah, I totally get what you mean. I have a heck of a time doing the review without spoilers (not being entirely successful).

@ usagijen: I totally agree with you; if there’s a full length anime, I will brave the bizarre hair and watch it. Strong heroines are sparse enough, as it is.

Lol, for all things, you are blogging this. Now, you are almost forcing me to my grave. I remember that 13sugars is trying to get me to watch the OVA. Now with this review on the blog, I shudder at the thought of going through yet another of the OVA where bishies sparkle like crazy.

I totally hate the heroine by the way, who cries and emos way too much for my liking.

Haha, I remember watching a few minutes of this (since I watched the first Harukanaru series *urgh* and the Maihitoyo movie), but when I realized it was a new set of characters they weren’t going to properly introduce (and that the OVA was more than 30 mins long), I just couldn’t muster the ‘interest’ any longer thinking it’s only for the hardcore fans of the games. Looks like the only thing I missed was an unexpectedly kick-ass heroine though, but hardly a pity it seems
