@bearzerger
Bah real men take whatever weapon they can get to gain victory. Ali is the most GAR and evil bastard in the series and he finds joy in delivering meister to their deaths with his new Gundam. Even Mwu took Strike when Kira got booted off. There is no Sazabi equivalent these days so Ali has to make do with what he can. Even if Super FLAG porves equal it is still powered by the GN-Tau drive. Besids Patrick pilots a cannon fodder suit so his near rape of lockon stands.

I still have no idea how Corner actually controls things (banking, industry, King maker?), but hey logic and physics don't count here much so we shall see if the UN is able to field more than a handful of GN-Tau equipped suits and how many fodder suits come end game. By the look of things Corner has a FORTRESS OF DOOM to be shown off...

@Crusader
Of course it's not fair, it's Gundam. And these are the most beatable gundams we've seen in a long time. Half a dozen excellent pilots can actually defeat one in "normal" mechas. You don't need other gundams or a ridiculous AI to pull it off.
Also the requirement to pilot a gundam is to be a total emo-wuss. A real man would never ever even consider piloting one.

As for the UN, it's definitely going to be a factor. Wang Liu Min, Ali Ali Sarshes and Alejandro Corner are so far the only ones against which everyone could unite and Alejandro pretty much owns the UN.

@Kaioshin

The Assault Container with Lassie and Kurdi Kid docked bears a similar silhouette to the megaship. As for being fair and balanced that's you job. I have an anti-terrorist, anti-emo, anti-self righteous Celestial Being bias. I don't have to be fair to such hateful people. I am a soldier I am the natural enemy of these blasted terrorists who fight for their own vanity rather than volk and fatherland.

@bearzerger
Oh and I suppose invulnerable plot armor and an uber suit that in the hands of novices can outperform squadrons of elite enemy pilots does not make things relatively fair? Patrick had to do it in an inferior suit.

At this rate the UN is not even going to be a factor and there will be lots more CB crying than any significant development for the rest of the cast in any significant way.

@Setsuna-san
You really think so? Now we'll get the dramatic finale of the season and if I don't miss my guess CB will be neutralized, without the Gundams losing the fight. And then in the next season it's time for the typical gundam phase of everyone switching sides as often as they change their underwear while everyone recieves numerous power ups.

@Crusader
I don't count almost succeeding when ganging up on someone with half a dozen fellows as an accomplishment.
Oberst Kaite treats him like a pet dog, teaching him how to sit, stand and so on. At best Patrick will be housebroken by the end of the series.

Well you might be right about that actually. There is nothing that can justify terrorism. He paid for his actions though so that seems like the ultimate and worthy price to me. Keep in mind to that the Japanese have a weird concept of culpability and justice too. They still haven't really taken full responsibility for all of the atrocities they committed against South-East Asia during WWII as you pointed out.

Will you allow the characters to grow and realize the consequences of their actions is what I am saying, before you pass judgement. Should not the greatest of sinners be allowed the chance to confess them. Whether you accept them or not is of course your choice, but what I think they wanted to do was allow the viewer the chance to judge for himself his merit.

As for what good his regret is at this stage....nothing. Nothing at all, and that's the point. He never asked for forgiveness or pity, he just gave his story.

And with regard to the ship, I don't see any resemblance between that ship and the craft from Power Rangers in Space or Megaranger as it's known in Japan. Are you talking about the Mega Shuttle which can be seen at http://www.supersentai.com/database/1997_megaranger/images/mega-mc-megashuttle.jpg ? Or do you mean the Mega ship at http://www.supersentai.com/database/1997_megaranger/images/mega-mc-megaship.jpg The only real resemblance is that both are blue and both are spaceships. You seem to be attacking the series on something that is really your own perception. I mean come on Crusader that's hardly fair.

well, i guess now that the plot armor has finally been shattered we will see more meisters getting pwned.

They had that but its the first time that the assault container was silhouetted against the earth ala power rangers. Besides color coordinated uniforms are nothing new, but looking like the ship from super sentai is a first for this series. The resemblance was unmistakable and a mark of a lack of creativity or poor homage.

Lastly I have a policy of intolerance to terrorists of all stripes Lockon did not fight for volk or fatherland he took it upon himself to enforce his will upon the rest of the world without consulting them or putting his Gundam in the service of the people of Ireland. Ali put his Gundam in the service of the AEU an elected government of the people and for the people. Don't be so arrogant to pass judgment on me saying I don't understand that he regretted his actions. So he regrets what he as done, but what good is regret now at this stage in the game? Will his regret bring world peace? No. Will his regret bring back all those he killed for so wicked a cause? No.

Lockon can take his regret and shove it up his ass along with Setsuna's dick. The only thing that scene proved was that Lockon believes that no matter how evil his actions so long as the outcome is good then all will be forgiven. Bah and Japan slaughtered millions to prove that the Europeans were not dominant during WWII, so should I sing the praise of the 14 class war criminals enshrined at Yasakuni for ending colonialism? The answer is simple Lockon only justified his actions to himself it does not make him right or honorable. He is no better than those tartish WWII revisionists in trying to justify the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere as a good thing.

The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist, the only thing better that is a dying terrorist who tells you where to find his fellow bastards.

Please tell me this isn't the first time you noticed that the Meister's have a Sentai colour coordinated uniform design...... :| You're kind of late on that one by about 23 eppies.

And you do realize that in his dying moments Lockon regretted his actions but believes there is a way to carry out his desire for a more peaceful world right? I think you need to watch that scene again because you seem to have missed the point. The Meister's are realizing now that their actions were naive and only made matters worse and thus they are being punished for it in a way.

@Gravmech
As moe as Soma was I still want her and Sergei to kill Haptism as a sort of father daughter activity.

@rollchan
Yeah I suspect that this will be the case, Lockon already has the lolicon bit down, unless he wants to be the child of a teenage prostitute. In that case we have Ms. Wang.

@bearzerger
Do not doubt the luck of the Irish, Patrick is the only wild card we hve in this blasted series, he occasional does something amazing. He did after all blind Lockon, and almost killed Tieria. Only the Lassie hack saved purple ranger from retribution.

Oberst Kaite said that she would make him a man, i do not doubt that mein Oberst will make a man out of him.

Patrick will never take out anyone. If there was ever a Wimp Lo in anime it is him. Ever since I saw his face to fist style and now his mecha to rock style I just can't wait for that colonel of his to say "I must apologize for Patrick. He is an idiot. We purposely trained him wrong. As a joke."
