GAR is pretty much like moé. Your GAR may be not my GAR, and vice versa. i.e I am GAR for Dutch in the first Predator movie, Conan the Barbarian, or Raoh and Kenshiro. While I can understand why hot-blooded pilots are seen as GAR, they are not my GAR, and so on.

@Leviahan DarklyCute: First, no one trolled Moe; actually, there are examples of Garmoe, a mix from both concepts (a good example is Nanoha in the Striker version of the series or Miya-Miya in Bamboo Blade).

Second, I’m not GAR’ifying the site, I’m just explaining a concept that readers tend to have difficulties understanding most of the times.

Third, if you hate GAR, you can’t force other peoples not to make posts about GAR; if you don’t want GAR related posts, just don’t read those posts, there are several other authors here at THAT to read. But there are other readers who are interested in that subject. Anyway, there isn’t GAR related stuff to talk more about at the moment.

I really hate gar. Garfags always try to troll moe by saying that gar owns them and other retarded bullshit as such. Also I find “makes other males weep in joy and kneel in their presences” really pathetic. Why not being proud in your own presence and who you are? Why does this ego-driven “manlyness” appeal so much to you?
Please just go back to the old moe-format of the site. I don’t want to see any more posts about gar ever again.

I just want to chime in again and say that I too vote for GAR being a manly growl, or the attempt of some Japanese kid trying to make pirate noises. I don’t think GAR can really be associated with anything “gay”, or it automatically looses some of it’s GARness. This would include the background to it’s name.
