Vi is not really the king’s son. He’s a fake, an impostor. Fake Vi is an orphan that the ex-maid took in and raised alongside the real son who’s about the same age as Fake Vi. Fake Vi loved his foster mother and foster brother. Six months ago, the real son caught the same disease that wiped out the rest of the royal family heirs. During his illness, the real son kept asking “When’s daddy coming to see me?” His mother lied, “He’ll be here soon.” This went on until the real son died of the disease. Fake Vi was disgusted that the king wanted his illegitimate son only when there were no other heirs left, so he decided to impersonate the real son in order to get back at the king. After meeting Rahzel, Fake Vi decides to continue to the kingdom, but he doesn’t want to do it for revenge anymore. He’s just curious to see what’ll happen next.

After all, you have to admire the guy for being able to handle everything with just his gun. And the fact that the only thing he uses his powers is to save the girl.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m fangirling helplessly over that.

Ya, it’s strange because they suddenly just threw it out at one of the last few episodes. Many of the little mysteries and history on the characters are all missing, causing it hard to empathize or feel for them.

Alzeid is a powerful magic user. He can do things that Rahzel can’t. Why the anime chose to not show his ability until this episode is something I don’t understand because it’s one of the earliest things manga-readers learn about him.

@Versus: Great. I mean, Rahzel is not the loli type but the bishoujo type, which means nice but not overly annoying fanservice.

@Briar: Ya, I know, but Studio Deen didn’t do very well in the few action scenes that are supposed to be the plot’s climax. It ALWAYS disappoints me with such poor action scenes. Nevertheless, Alzeid just upped the cool factor with his ability yes.

I am a bit disappointed that it’s ending so fast. There are so many things that I do not know, or wonder.

My favourite part in this episode is the Alzeid x Rahzel moment at the end. Wow. Simply wow. Love the scene both for the hints of vulnerability in both of them, and the sense of connection between them.

I’m also quite surprised at the sight of Alzeid’s magic wielding. Where did that come from? But yeah, I really do love Alzeid, but I’ve always felt that his abilities are a bit mundane when compared to Rahzel and Heat. But well, let’s just say that I’m now looking at his strength in a totally new and awed light.

And no, your not the only one who watches this for the Rahzel fanservice
