The origins of the spring onion song.

Fine, they are not the spring onion gang but a group called Loituma. Their song is called “Ieva’s polka”. I never knew they are the original singers of this strangely addictive song until now. I am sure that there are a few blur people like me who did not know this original group as well. They are the one that brought the Churuya clock.

    @Hinano: You know, I never know how to use niconico. You supposedly need an account but I am too lazy to decipher the moonspeak. Despite my lack of formal training with it, I can actually read it after spending a whole lot of time. It’s a pain though.

    @IKnight: I was ambushed by my female buddy with this youtube. The rest, as we all say, is history.

    @Korosora: Good for you, i only knew now.

    @Issa-sa: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, OWNED!

    @DS: Really? I feel less stupid now.

    The moment I read “spring onion” and “song”, it became quite obvious what you were talking about. Wow, I’ve always thought the leek song was a bunch of gibberish cooked up by some random voice/singing software.

    And damnit, this song just doesn’t seem to lose its power even after so long…

    And yes, I did know about them from before, since I read about it the very first time Orihime appeared with the onion in hand and singing… I didn´t like it then, don´t really like it now either.
