@Shippoyasha: Well, being a NEET does not mean anything at all. Only if you start to be negative like Maria and give up on yourself, will NEET manifest its true feeling. Despite the fact that this is an anime blog, remember that there is no place in the world or anyone who has the right to tell you that you cannot move away from your predicament. People are often their own worst enemy, and if you know the issue, solve it in real life ^_^

Ouch, good point Impz. I'm a real life NEET and this show finds the right buttons to push. And it hurts. heh

@LKK: Arr, so the manga is still running? The situation with it being 13 episodes is that we probably have a rather incomplete series, with an ending that is likely to be hanging and the likes. That's usually the case with a decently lengthed manga but one that has not ended. It is the same case with Bokura Ga Ita, and I really wish that the ending is not as open-ended like that case.

@Azn: Yep, you always need a joker around that flirts at everyone to lighten up the mood. You really cannot miss any of the three protagonists because their connection with each other is sheer greatness. One less will not make it work that well.

I actually do not think that there will be any plot, or more accurately, any proper plot to end this story. I just know that the ending will make me go like ~_~ ermm ya.
The manga does have a plot proper and a very interesting one at that. But since the manga is still running in the monthly magazine Zero-Sum, the anime is sure to be open-ended. I doubt the anime will touch the big plot because there simply aren't enough episodes scheduled to do it justice of any sort.

@Polar Bear: Ya, I run out of thoughts space to actually point that out, but it is apparent that Alzeid is now more open in terms of feelings. In a way, I guess it clearly shows that he does have quite a bit of companionship with the other two.

That said, if I am answering that, I will tell them that they are dumb not to learn swimming ahead of time!

@LKK: Yep, typo mistake. It is rahzel. Actually, i do not think that any parent in the world will choose one child over the other. No parent who will save one child, will forsake any other. I simply wanted to bring both perspectives in the pictures, but it is clear that it is more of her inferior complex that is painting the picture in her mind. I am sure her parents loved her a lot.

Yea! the haristyle is horrible yes? I never saw such a bad hairstyle, makes rahzel's forehead look exceptionally big!

Alzeid creates a membrane of oxygen for everyone to survive in the water.
Alzeid creates the membrane? Are you sure about that? If so, then that's a switch from the manga. Razhel is the one who's supposed to create the oxygen membrane. When she starts to worry about not being able to swim, she loses her concentration. As a result, Rahzel's magic membrane disappears. If Alzeid had created the membrane, it shouldn't have failed like it did.

Moreover, her forehead looks queer.
I think it looked odd because of that horrible hairstyle. I hated the hairstyle they gave her for this episode. If they never use it again, it'll be too soon. Blech!

To be honest, I do not know whether a positive or negative spin will be accurate in this aspect since I do not know how the relationship of Maria, her sister and her parents are at the moment. In fact, with the rather negative character of Maria, it might be possible that her parents might have favored her sister more than her.
Maria is not a nice personality at all nowadays. She's bitter and makes no bones about it, openly opposing and arguing with everyone and everything. Her parents probably do favor the sister more now. I certainly would. What I can't say though is if her personality was that way before the drowning incident. She wasn't as pretty or as cute as her younger sister then. I suspect she wasn't as obedient a child either. But there's no strong evidence that the parents favored her sister more than her when the girls were young. Rahzel's theory that the parent choose to help the daughter less able to help herself is probably correct.

my brother always complains his girlfriend always throws the same question:Will you save me or your sister if both of us cannot swim and we are drowning? I say for question like this, just answer according to the situation.

Alzeid is getting more and more friendly. He actually talk quite a lot in this episode in my opinion.Hatenkou Yuugi is nice, but for a 13 episode anime they better have something good in the end.i foresee some sort of arc for the last few episodes.I prefer if it is like devil may cry, where the villain slowly finds his way to achieve what he wanted instead of coming out of nowhere during the last few episodes.I think i know what will happen in the end,if this follows the manga faithfully.I can assure myself these people will never die, something big happen in the end and after that, they continue their journey.I can't foresee anything other than that.If that happen,it is cliche,*sigh*.
