    I would not blog H2O, Gundam, and Rosario. They are all waste of time and are generic crappy animes that are a pure waste of time.

    Otherwise hope to read good reviews.

    Crusader blogging true tears? Somehow this doesn’t really sync.

    Well, dan, I totally don’t agree at all with any of them. They’re good for whatever they’re trying to accomplish. I don’t see how calling out each show like that and call it ‘crappy’ is constructive.

    I thought you guys would start on Zetsubo Sensei or Minami-ke. oh well.

    Personally I’ll be following Rosario + Vampire, Spice and Wolf (at least until it turns angsty), maybe Hatenkou Yuugi if it gets consistently subbed, and Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

    Crusader should totally blog Overman King Gainer :P

    Those animes are generic beyond belief with a story that has been rehashed and rehashed and with characters that have been rehashed and rehashed.

    I see no merit in them or anything of particular value. I do not see any merit in them. Th reasons to blog them are minimal at best and I just believe those shows would be a waste of time, but that is just me.

    PERSONAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! And sorry I haven’t been updating. Too much workload and stress…. X.X

    And who’s to say that’s actually a sticking point for everyone? Not me. Only to you. It’s typically the execution that’s everything in anime. I’m not saying we’re seeing an Akagi or Mushishi in those shows, but they’re entertaining without pushing boundaries or being original.

    And to say that a Gundam show is ‘generic’ is laughable. Because a Gundam show will always adhere to its conventions. Being ‘generic’ by Gundam standards? Status quo. Modus operandi. Big hoo ha.

    @DKellis, spice and wolf will turn angsty? =0

    @dan

    It’s a good thing then there is very little chance those shows are going to change because the bloggers that picked them really like them ;) Things don’t need to be revolutionary in order to be entertaining, and not everyone likes the same thing. In fact I wouldn’t call any of those shows you mentioned generic at all, they all have a pretty odd premise or something vastly different from previous shows. That doesn’t mean everything about it is original, but generic is not how I would describe them. Doesn’t mean I like them all, but they have their uh, “unique” traits.

    @PS

    Yes I was surprised too, but he’s a man’s man and blogs Shugo Chara. He is quite secure in himself.

    @DKellis

    Hatenkou is going to be subbed, but it will probably be a week or so behind the broadcast, Shinsen is doing it. The first group that put out a sub I had never heard of and it was pretty crappy.

  15. Myu January 16th, 2008 12:31 pm

    Not going to continue blogging Ghost Hound, Impz?

  16. Impz January 16th, 2008 8:48 pm

    @Myu: Ya, i dropped it after a while because I just didn’t find it fascinating any more. X_X I tend to lose interest when the show does not seem to go anywhere at all.
