I am also in love with Impz- not the man in love with Sugars but the green-haired loli trap. Just like Midori-chan or Tsuruya-tan…

Anyway, I just finished the first episode and I couldn’t stop laughing. I love the deadpan sarcastic comments by Alzheid, Rahzel’s crazy spunk, and Heat’s flirtatiousness. Plus how gar is a name like Baroqueheat?

@LkK: well, for me, I am not too crazy over the requirements of the action shows since I am not really crazy over it in the first place. I do agree that the action scenes are lacking a bit of oomph and that clearly shows that Studio Deen does have a very tight budget.

Nevertheless, the banter does help to reduce that discomfort quite a bit with the quirky conversation from the three protagonists. The character designs are also generally happy and to be honest, the banter has been excellently hilarious. A sub will help much better, i believe.

I don’t know what to think about episode 2. I have mixed emotions. One of the joys of Hatenkou Yuugi (a.k.a Dazzle) for me has always been the banter between the characters not so much the fight scenes. Consequently, I really need a sub to judge the episode fairly. (For example, my opinion of episode 1 rose after I could understand the dialogue.) But even allowing for that caveat, I’m a little disappointed in how the fight in the cage was animated. Fight scenes are one area where an anime ought to be better visually than the manga. But it just wasn’t so in episode 2. I’m sure the banter among the three was great. But they could have, should have, had better fight visuals to go along with the banter. *sigh* Clear signs of a small animation budget. On the other hand, the show did have some good visual elements. The character designs looked fine throughout. I don’t remember seeing any wonky proportions, for example. I’m looking forward to a sub release in the hopes that my overall opinion of the episode will go up once I can understand the banter.
