So lately school has been kicking my ass lately since I finally got the first of three required lab courses for my BS in Microbiology. I am sure that this post is horrifically late but seeing Marina again simply made me sick, sure I am probably beating a dead horse by now but by beating it hopefully Marina’s dignity will twitch enough to give a semblance of life. At the very least Gundam Jesus didn’t drag a cross through the Azadistani capital though Ayatolla Rachmadi is pretty much dead weight…

That’s Mahdi Marina peasant!

This episode was pretty much the Sunrise team going through the motions and creating a plot hole the size of a small galaxy. Ali is a twit he goes from pwning Setsuna to losing his Enact’s fore arms and fails to behead Ayatolla Rachmadi over the internet to really throw shit into the fan. Instead CB comes down pwns everything and Mr. Hong becomes the new Green Hornet. Now I agree with many others in that this simply breaks the episode, I expect bullet dodging from Gundams, but a mere mortal? Even Bruce Lee had the sense to never try and dodge bullets while charging over open terrain. If Mr. Hong were competent he would have not charged moving vehicles but simply waited for Ali’s men to make a pitstop and use stealth to close the gap. Uh, I thought banzai charges were placed under idiot tactics by now…well we can now be certain that Banzai Hong s really a Japanese pretending to be Chinese and doing it piss poorly.

I would have more respect for Sunrise if the just went out and used the Sunni-Shia split instead of reformist vs. conservative crap. They’re Japanese right? Heck they treat all gaijin like unwashed peasants any way they may as well be honest about it. Heck Capcom is being brutally honest with Resident Evil 5. Besides it would make a bit more sense, but then again bullet dodging is now normal in this universe. Billy Goat is a disgrace to the Union he’s so gullible it sickens me. No doubt he will soon be revealing state secrets over pillow talk with Sumeragi. Also what the heck is up with having glasses of water in the middle of nowhere? Honestly for a hard core mercenary Ali never heard of Camelbaks or even a canteen?!

Ms. Wang for all her looks is dull as brick for thinking that she is one step closer to ending war. Even Einstein felt that so long as there is man there will be war. Well if she weren’t insolent enough to think that she can achieve what humanity has failed since the dawn of civilization she would fulfill the arrogant and haughty perquisite for all Bond Villains. The whole unarmed Ayatollah Rassoud toss was awful, like CB is a in any way pacifist…

Azadistani sure make for a dumb people. The Reformists don’t carry guns and pray to Marina as some sort of prophet (Here I thought Allah had no more need for prophets, though if Sunrise does its homework they could make Marina the Mahdi). The Conservatives snuck in an assassin instead of a suicide bomber. I mean if your are going to strike a king you better strike to kill, but no you have to talk a bit before pulling the trigger because in Gundam 00 all guns require voice activation. Regardless of “politics” I hate sloppy idiots. No wonder why there is no hope, these people they don’t even know how to get shit done right. Speaking of useless people what kind of contract did the seiyuus of Saji and Louise get because for some strange reason we are never rid of them. All they ever do these days is watch TV. I don’t even think that they have even showered for the longest time too.

Uh, Graham the HRL and AEU don’t like you anyway and the remaining third that matters is the very Union you serve. Besides war is war and not popularity seeking so sayeth William T. Sherman.

So Marina then, well if I were Azadistani I’d sooner declare the weighted companion cube as first princess. At least that way the Princess of Azadistan would not be known for making stupid statements. It is clear the needy bitch is in way over her head and other than being Setsuna’s inevitable love interest there is little to justify her otherwise parasitic existence. At least Relena had the resolve to do things even if she ended up on the wrong side of a gun, Marina can’t even do that. There mere existence of Marina brings up the question if Sunrise can even create a strong female lead that can carry the day on her own or at least spearhead the effort in any series branded Gundam? I guess that emo teenage boys have become integral power source these days. What I wouldn’t give for Cornelia from Code Geass to seize the Azadistani throne or have Marina give the Nine Bestowments to Shirin to deliver Azadistan from its downward spiral.

Shirin, your thoughts betray your feelings for your country are strong. Especially for princess. So you are in love with the princess your feelings have now betrayed her too. Massoud was wise to hide her from us but now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the yuri side then perhaps she will.

In fact I want Shirin to seize the throne by marrying Marina to prevent a Setsuna coupling, as we all know the bloody emo bastard has need only for an Exia vibrator. Shirin can then be Marina’s savior and become Prince of Azadistan. If Marina is going to put out like the clueless bint that she is it may as well be for Shirin since Shirin deserves it for her loyal service to volk and fatherland. Seeing how Billy Goat is going to get some drunken barfly Sumeragi action and pedo bear Corner is going to rob the World Bank to pay for more Ms. Wang time I want a bit of tasteful yuri love compared to the awful 10 seconds of Billy Goat’s bare ass Sunrise has been gleefully animating along with pedo bear Corner’s bare wang near clothed Wang scene. Failing that God/Allah creating Mahdi Marina from the miserable mess that is Princess Marina is required since no Azadistani, save Shirin, has the chutzpah to save themselves from their own stupidity. Then at least we can a real Jihad rather than this backyard skirmishing.

Damn that was boring.

Sadly next episode looks like another parade of Ms. Wang and Sumeragi in even more skimpy outfits, no doubt by the end their swimsuits will consist of strategically placed ribbons and a thong to get those otaku loins aflame with excitement. I can only hope that this military exercise proves more interesting than CB pwns all yet again. Failing that Azadistani palace intrigue would make for better plot than CB world police. Well at least Soma is due for some more screen time though Saji is going to get his mandatory five minutes because Sunrise thinks that we all find him interesting and sympathetic, rather than hateful and useless.

Yep, because Sumeragi is really down there and no where else.

At least my favorite Leutnant will ride again to battle.
