My love for moe-mongering stems from Ranma 1/2. (Kasumi in specific.) Ah! My Goddess, Tenchi Muyo, and definitely Card Captor Sakura sealed the deal. When one starts watching anime has no bearing on what tastes one has.

@Tj: I thought it’s mike? Oh, I actually started watching anime quite early, just that it’s more intensive lately. By the way, I have got rid of my moe mongering addiction quite a while ago, since I have reached the stage of “I do not have time to watch many shows, so I have to be selective”.

The rest of Tj’s comments is giving me a headache because it is way too big in economics (yes, I study media economics, so seeing it makes me feel meh). Well, it’s a commercial world, and pandering to people like Impz is not a good idea. Misers, all!

I must point out that it is common consensus among most anime bloggers that IMPZ HAS TERRIBLE TASTE IN ANIME. This is partly because he started in the scene rather late and is only introduced to recent series, many of which are formulaic moe mongering works designed to drain otaku pockets to achieve short-term subsistence of the anime industry which was already taxed by over-stretching of budgeting, induced in part by overly high projections of the foreign market.
