I reaaaaaaaaally want the Zelda DS Lite. But I’m going to wait til my birthday in February and maybe put my old DS in exchange for some money off. I’ve waited this long for Phantom Hourglass I can wait a bit longer.

But YAY we got Mario Galaxy. Hubby-sama has gotten further than I have, but since he’s addicted then if he’s on it, all I can really do is be his wingman.

And we got our hands on Assassin’s Creed. Hubby thought hard about that one. But apparently both the PS3 version and the 360 version have quirks unique to them. So figuring that balanced it out he ended up getting that.

We decided to hold on Naruto Rise of A Ninja and Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution. We figure they can wait til they drop in price some. And I WILL get my hands on My Beautiful Katamari.

He got me InuYasha v40. Now my InuYasha anime collection is finally complete. FINALLY! Now if Takahashi would just finish the manga…

I want the Wii zapper for Link’s training game that comes with it. But have yet to actually see it anywhere.

Since his birthday was on the Sunday. I got him that Red Wings boxset he wanted and the special edition of Transformers that he wanted.

We’re still too poor for a cool t.v though ^-^

Overall, though, a pretty immersive, addictive experience. I hope they seriously fix the flaws in the next two instalments, because then it might become something truly excellent.

I am humbled by your mastery of finding tech equipment on the cheap. Thanks for the site I will look into getting the HDMI cable once I move back into my room. I might need to invest in a creiever down the road but at least with the HDMI cable I can use it in full 1080P for computer stuff.

Lastly, any tips on how to speed up recovery? It looks like I might need to put in some overtime for the post Christmas sales.

At least you had accomplices, mine all bailed on me and I had to stand in hours trying to hold it in. I planned for that day long before, cash on hand is great.

If you’re looking for HDMI cables, I would suggest monoprice.com. They have pretty much the cheapest prices around and was the place I went to when upgrading all my stuff 1/2 a year back.

BF for me wasn’t anything special, just picked up some clothes and a logitech harmony universal remote. Pretty much broke for the next few months so any “crazy” spending has to be put on hold for awhile ^^;;

Black Friday sounds stressful though. And expensive….

And Best Buy has the original Last Exile boxset with figure for like 31.99 if you buy it from the kiosk and have it shipped. I dunno if you bought that for less because it’s a different boxset, looks different from mine.
