shana 2 rocks!! although the first episode.. was kinda disappointing, initially. i guess they made it up with the ending.. which i hoped to see in the beginning earlier -_-

I enjoyed watching Shana Second. Even though I couldn’t understand what they were saying, I still understood generally what was going on with the episode. Both the OP and ED (if I’m not mistaken) are done by Kawada Mami who I think does a very good job every time I hear her.

Stupid internet, got d/c just as I submit, and now I have to retype everything.

Anyway. I was playing FreeCell as I watch Dragonaut; I was totally bored with it. Just not my cup of tea. And that’s not considering the fact that I couldn’t differentiate between Kazuki and Jin for a good 10 minutes of the show.

Nope. Definitely nope.

Shana II I enjoyed, though. It was fun, and I like how Yuuji got to show a lot of that intelligence I enjoyed so much in season 1. I, however, suffered from a little boredom due to the repeated material. I do applaud the fact that the producers created a recap seamlessly without breaking the story flow, but it didn’t help that I watched Shana the Movie only 1 or 2 weeks before, and that was yet another recap of season 1.

Still, I enjoy the new bits, and next week’s preview make me very happy. Looking forward to more.

I’ve only seen Dragonaut so far, and what a let-down. I had only seen one picture before, and I thought it was reminiscent of Eureka 7, that’s why it was on my watch list. But man I wish I had done a more thorough research. During the show I kept having red alerts ringing in my head. And after watching the first episode, the only good thing I can say about it, is that the animation is fluid, and the two main characters look ok. Yeah, it’s that bad (to me at least). As you said they introduced too many characters, each with a blander design than the next one. The face design reminds me a bit of Tokyo Majin Gakuen Something (which was quite a pathetic show). A girl in a maid-like outfit, a butler, a scientist who would look good in a boys band, another scientist who has written all over her face “I only enjoy myself when dissecting humans (and aliens)” with boobs bigger than her head, a duo of girls one flat-chested one with boobs bigger than her head, an evil female (alien?) in leather and high heels and with boobs bigger than her head (are you starting to notice a trend here?), and I’m sure I’m forgetting some. I mean what the hell!!!!? Are you serious when you say that the fan-service is not distracting? You know what this show reminds of? Demonbane! Except that Demonbane was actually funny. And the preview didn’t do anything to alleviate my fears.
