Ok, I do like this kind of characters after all. Though I'm not enamoured by the lame violence they inflict on the male characters. In an anime or manga you can easily tell whether someone is a tsundere or an arse because you have a god-like perspective. Like the so many ideas that work great in fiction, tsundere can hardly work unless you know this person for a long time. For example, it's often extremely hilarious to watch people having a verbal fight in fiction but the same real-life experience can be quite stressful and depressing simply because it does not happen for entertainment and "the next scene" won't resolve it. In a way, that's what fiction is all about: Enjoying things that just wouldn't work in reality. I'm not sure I've ever met a "tsundere" in real-life, what comes closest are choleric persons which I might be a bit of myself.
