I just pick it up awhile ago and have to say it is way better than I thought. It may be the best anime for this season besides Baccano. I thought the art is kind of not attracting at first but when actually watching it , it suits the environment and atmosphere of the story well and beautifully. The medicine seller is so cool I think it's a good choice making him a main character ^_^. This is awesome. I just pick it up awhile ago and have to say it is way better than I thought. It may be the best anime for this season besides Baccano. Excellent first episode and can't wait for the creepiness to rachet up. Just a thought, if it were aborted children wouldn't you hear baby cries instead of happy children? It looks like Aubrey Beardsley stuff from The Yellow Book - granted, Beardsley & his ilk were influenced by Japanese block prints. Wonderful slow buildup of creepiness as the show went on!
