With Episode 14 hitting us with the climatic scene of Shuurei finally meeting the cult member, this episode deals with the event of meeting. It also brings us to the conclusion of Eigetsu, on whether he will actually survive or not. Be warned, there is a hell lot of spoilers that will keep you in your toes after the “read more” sign. This is definitely the winding down of an arc and a very disturbing end is approaching us. With my real life commitments that has reduced my Internet existence count to almost 0 all disappearing, I am back to the blog finally. This means more updates from me in the blog!

If eigetsu lives, i suppose Sakujun would live also (or “had stayed alive” might be a more apt term.) I dunno… just hazarding a guess. I feel sorry for Yougetsu though. It’s sad how one must go so the other one could stay. If only he could get a body of his own or whatever so both of them can live. oh well. Can’t ask for too much i suppose. Although… well, if you’d ask me, Kourin x Yougetsu has a lot of fanfiction potential. hehe. A possible tragic story of unrequited love … *gasp* sorry. drama queen mode…
I really don’t get the whole thing about the Hyou clan and those other things. baah. I seriously want to pout and shout JUST GET ON WITH SHUUREI’S LOVE STORY DAMN IT. Too many boys, too many problems…too little time. *sigh*
This might be too far-fetched, but i would guess the “kaa-san” is related to Shuurei’s mother. maybe she’s the girl with the rose on her head in the entrance song? after all, Shuurei’s mom from season 1 didn’t have a rose in her head, as far as I can remember, although she did resemble shuurei’s mom. ooor maybe she’s related to the kid,Zhuran (was it) since she seemed to be like shuurei… so they can be related…and gaaah nevermind? Or maybe they need shuurei’s body/soul/whatever for Kaa-san. Seriously, this is turning into an FF7 spin-off. Ok, i’ll stop myself from thinking before i get a nosebleed.
Anyway, thanks again for the update. It’s one of the things i look forward to in the week.
I agree that Shuurei’s surprised calling of Eigetsu’s name gives some hope that he isn’t yet out for the count.
As for kasaan. I wonder if it is indeed Shuurei’s mother since she is of their clan. But instead of doing what they are doing under her direction, they are attempting to resurrect her maybe? Perhaps that is why they were trying to take Shuurei’s soul?
I dunno, I’m just guessing here ^-^
And I have to agree Seiran blushing was do damn cute! I giggled stupidly at that scene.
@Briar: Heh, thanks for the correction. I am not too sure on the translation per se, and is glad that you corrected me.
I believe that Eigetsu dying like this is quite strange for a series that is placed in the all-ages category on the Saturday timeslot. I will be truly shocked if they do allow Eigetsu to die just like this. Still, I already have the copy of episode 16, and i need to have an answer.

@Uruz 8: The update for ep 16 will come on monday, since i am back! I believe that the logic that only one stays is definitely possible. In fact, I can actually see Yougetsu somehow asking the saint who probably created him inside to actually destroy him in order to bring Eigetsu back. Kourin x Yougetsu? NOOOOOOOOOOO, i want my dere dere romance of kourin x eigetsu!!!
HAHAH, you are funny when you go on with shuurei’s love story. However, I will go against you and say that they should revive eigetsu and have sweet love love with Kourin. Omg, i love that pairing.
The Kaa-san is alive, and we all know that shuurei’s mother died (or did she really die?) but when lian went “KAA-SAN, KAA-SAN, KAA-SAN, KAA-SAN”, i suddenly see a sword in my mind. I also wonder the actual existence of this mother. In my opinion, i believe that with the supernatural elements, the kaa-san might be a possessed version of shuurei’s mother, one that no longer remembers her past. She decided to die as a “rose”, no longer able to have any emotions as a human, in order to protect her daughter.

Perhaps, since we did not see the kaa-san saying anything, it might be shuurei’s mother, and they are teleporting shuurei’s soul inside? maybe @_@
Oh oh. just to clarify, I’m pro Eigetsu x Kourin too. However, the Yougetsu x Kourin thing has fanfiction potential. It can be a love triangle and they can never end up together. It’s like one of those hotohori x miaka type of things. haha. Now that i think about it, Kouyu x Kochou (as in the prostitute) kinda works too. but … that’s just me. (If you really think about it, and you make your imagination go on overdrive.) Ok, i’ll stop now.
and oh, I think i get your Kaa-san theory. It could also work. With a mind as open as mine (…) it could work.
Eigetsu might come back hopefully, maybe Yougetsu revives him, gives him his body back and becomes what he was before in order to let him live. I wonder why they really needed Shuurie, because Lian really wanted Shuurie for Kaasan his mother, and also maybe the Bara-Hime was truly Shuurie’s mom becuase if she was alive Rui wouldn’t be going after Shuurie but his lost one right? Yea Shuurie’s mother must have had a connection with Kaasan in order to tell Shuurie the story when she was little. Plus maybe Kaasan is related to Rui or to Shuurie’s mother the Bara-Hime. Maybe Kaasan is taking revenge on Shuurie by trying to set out to murder her because she was in love with Rui but Rui was in love with his Bara-Hime!See now I have lots of questions! They’ll clear up gradually I guess. But yea Serian’s blush was soo Kawaii!^^

From my point of view, Eigetsu and Yougetsu may well combine together. Yougetsu can fight! And if Eigetsu can fight… Kourin will be very well protected. I will not believe that Eigetsu is dead forever.

The Kaa-san is really speculative and way too out there for my liking. Yet, it somehow will link and be relative to the supernatural side of this show.
@Clari: Arrr, Shuurei’s mom is definitely without doubt having a connection with Kaa-san, considering how related the story is. If Riou came over to simply see Shuurei. there must be something to clearly do with the future leadership of the Hyou clan.
I do not believe Kaa-san is Shuurei’s mother completely, because she loves Shuurei too much @_@. Seiran’s blush is rather amusing.

@Yanlan: It’s simply to use the name of Senya, which will bring Shuurei over as it is a name that she is worried about. Hah, there’s no soul fusion and combining to have a new character, as much as it is a possibility in games.

about Hyou clan, it’s totally packed with mystery. and I too think Kaa san might be related to Shuurei’s mom, since the way i remember she was originally belonged to the Hyou clan, where Shouka sama (Shuurei’s dad) met her while on a mission as Black Wolf. so the heads of Hyou clan prolly want Shuurei’s spirit to summon her mom. just a thought..
@Mai: I definitely won’t spoil you on the future incidents of Eigetsu. Hmm, I personally think that they will definitely explore the Hyou clan much more since this arc seems merely to introduce them into the picture. I cannot wait for Riou’s plot to come over as the main one.
Hmm, that possibility might be true too, the fact that they want to summon her mother or perhaps put Shuurei’s soul into her mother’s body.
