After much anticipation I have finally seen the first episode of what I dearly hope will be a most glorious blood bath and turning of anime characters into piles of fleshy paste. I have never looked forward to these kinds of shows and try to avoid them like the plague that they are. However the promise of bloody brings joy to my evil heart. Do forgive me if I sound a bit disturbed, it’s all very normal…

We begin our bloody tale with the object of my undying hatred Makoto Ito, who is named after a politician; how fitting there is no lower life form on Earth. It appears that this scum has been setting his eyes upon some twit with a very full chest and apparently an empty head. Turns out this mere object has a name Katsura Kotonoha and she likes to read, however, I have a nagging suspicion that these “books” are heretical. He goes into the history that they share and his meticulous study of her habits and her figure. While he claims that this is mere infatuation I call it stalking.

So Ito remembers some silly superstition about taking the picture of the object of your desire with your cell phone and keeping it secret will insure success. Being one to beg God/Haruhi-sama/Allah/Buddha for such trivial matters of a most selfish nature he abides by the pagan ritual and walks off confident that he will get what he wants. While gawking at his low quality picture he is easily discovered by one very special lady Sekai Saionji who interrogates Ito over the picture and rapidly gains the information that she needs by passing notes in class. One of Sekai’s classmates leers at them suspiciously. We later learn that this young lady is in fact a potential yuri pal for Sekai and she must move quickly to kill Ito.

Turns out Sekai is a friend of Kotonoha and sets her plan to bring them together in motion. Some twit makes some remarks about how unjust anime writers are for favoring such losers like Ito fate has been very kind to Ito. Ito begins to suspect Sekai for telling every body about his not so secret crush. In fact when Sekai shows him her special place he assaults her by grabbing her and forcing her into the fence. While any other woman would have killed him where he stood, she plays nice and he backs off. Sekai arranges for a special lunch between the three and Kotonoha turns out to be quite the terrible cook. Sadly Ito did not die of food poisoning as I had hoped.

After this nearly fatal affair Ito resolves to confess his feelings to Kotonoha. Next day at their embarkation point Ito pours out his love for Kotonoha. She accepts his feelings and reveals to Sekai that the boy she was interested in was in fact Ito. Fast forward to the end of the day Sekai and Ito are at the train stop. Ito is so grateful to Sekai that he wants to reward her with something. Sekai takes him up on it and steals a kiss before fleeing to her train. So ends the first ep with nary a drop of blood.

Impression: Well that was fairly uneventful although things appear to be moving on track without delays of a ridiculous nature. I hope the anime staff realizes why many people are watching this and I doubt that it is for standard harem. The only thing that made the game remarkable were the “bad” endings to cut those out would be a crime against civilization, a treachery so heinous that it can only be sated with the blood of their families young and old, male and female.

Kotonoha-san I like you will you go out with me? Gomen~ne doormat-san, but I’d rather make love to this thermos than go out with you. See I told you that your Schwartz was small.

While I have never played the game nor ever plan to I am eagerly looking forward to see somebody bite the dust. Still between Sekai and Kotonoha Sekai is clearly turning out to be the superior otome. It is most unfortunate that her scheme blew up in her face but it was no less deliciously evil as it was devious. I surmise she even went through the trouble to have Kotonoha crush and curb stomp Ito’s puny heart so she could swoop in and piece it back together. Sekai also has a friend in the yuri closet so that is a nice plus from busty block headed sickly twit that has a like for reading. Kotonoha better show some spine and a Fairbairn-Sykes commando knife with deadly intent before she can make her way back into my esteem, other wise she needs to die just as badly as Ito. Making Ito sickly would be nice but it better be terminal then!

Look at his expression he’s definitely a rapist or at least wants to be one. At the very least this is assault and battery against a girl. Arrest that man!

Ito is really worthless in mere seconds I hated him with a passion with his attitude and his stalking methods his hand writing sucks too. Any one who cheers for this guy must really be something. Ah well I hope he dies a million times over because he deserves it. Next time it seems that Kotonoha is in for one really bad dayto, I can only hope she kills Ito for wasting her time.
