tanda and balsa love story is complex and somewhat weird. At times Balsa seems to be the guy and Tanda is like the girl..haha .. there's that part at the end..they were talking about Saya liking Tohya..and hoew they only realized it just now..then Chagum looked at them with the same meaningful meaning ..as if saying "huh? you guys have the same thing..you like each other and you don't even know it"

@Impz: C'est faux! Totally untrue. I am not fixated on them getting together, it is simply the natural way of progression. *whistles innocently*

Seriously, I do think that Tonda has already made the first move (long ago). Barsa is now the one who should make the next move. But like you say, she's distant to everyone, even to Tonda who is probably her best friend (or something more ;) ). I think she isn't prepared to move from the current situation -- ie she's content with the current situation -- and Tonda is content to wait for her to come to her senses. You know, it's almost like a non-comical, gender switching version of Otani and Risa from Lovely Complex.

Or maybe my brains aren't working again. :)

@Chu: Balsa sounds like ...you know, that thingy. I know it is somewhat of a typo, but Barsa really sounds much cooler, I guess. I mean, I don't know T_T

@Briar: I have a feeling that he has comparatively less use of the magical stuff since he sticks to healing, and perhaps that Torogai has not taught him much due to some particular reason.

Briar, you are WAY too fixated at getting the two paired up together already! :P. Silly you, but I felt that there is somewhat of a possible romance, but I am surprised the two (especially Tonda) did not explore anything at all. However, seeing the characters of Barsa and Tonda, Barsa does give a feeling of being way too distant for anyone to approach. She does not rely on anyone, only returns when she needs help and leaves once help is given. It's hard to keep someone like her.

Toya and Saya really feels more like siblings in a way. I am surprised that Saya even has a fancy but well, who knows. I am honestly wondering how they are going to push forth the plot but one definite way is when the egg starts to yearn for Nayugu.

Regarding Tonda's skills, I think he has always been strong in both medical and magical stuff. However, he doesn't really use the magical stuff a lot, which is why he managed to trap himself out of his body. So it's not so much growing skills and growing accustomed to them.

I totally LOVE that scene when Chagum and Barsa and Tonda walked down the moonlit road, talking about the relationship between Toya and Saya. When Barsa said how she sees that there's a little romantic attachment between Toya and Saya after looking closely, and how close they are (something like that), and Chagum just looked at Barsa, look at Tonda, and smiled knowingly. And both Barsa and Tonda looked away in embarrassment. I tell you, there's DEFINITELY something between them. More than friendship, more than decades of companionship. Romance. Definitely romance. :D

Toya and Saya is a great preview/hint of the relationship between Barsa and Tonda. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this. Initially, I really thought Toya and Saya have a completely platonic relationship, and in fact thought that Saya and Chagum have more chemistry. Personally, I would rather the two of them stay close as brother and sister, but that's just me. This works as well, though.
