@Psgels: If you ask me, it feels that she is trapped in a world that she believes that Teddy is somewhat still sickly when he is clearly good enough to be out and soak in the sun. It's a very sad tale when an adult becomes withdrawal due to rumors that have hurt them so much that they become possessive and selfish.

The canadian president? What in...the world. I believe that he has the art of diplomacy then, but it will be amazing how someone that is of such low status is going to rise to that level. I will be curious considering that he admits he is illiterate.

@Adalmin: That bad? I mean, Lucky Star gave me less than 3 times the laughs I got from Oh Edo Rocket, Over Drive and Lovely Complex but it is not too bad still. However, with great shows all around, it is on the afterburn for me unless I get the cultural jokes. It's unlikely though, with my lack of knowledge of such information. Oh well, the show is somewhat lost on me, a non-otaku.

@Usajigen: LOL, just when I replied to Psgels, you made the same argument as me about Perry. I do not know about his ability of diplomacy since the ability for charisma generally comes at an older age. Maybe i am merely myopic but it feels more like a natural + experience thingy.

@Briar: Yes, Teresa is just very darn hot if you ask me, especially with that seiyuu who makes her really different. However, the past of Clare makes us realize that Claymore might have been normal humans before they turn into such women, and I wonder what the process is about that at all...

Lovely complex does have a good chemistry. I mean, it is so fricking apparent that the two are meant for each other. Even in squabbling, it feels more like a lover's quarrel than a true hatred for each other. You don't think Risa is pretty???? Risa is so pretty in my humble opinion but Atsushi does look boyish, even though he is really short.

I kind of find it amusing how the two will eventually go out. O_O;; Will be really queer, but still attractive in its own way ^^

Claymore is really interesting. I had an inkling that the girl was Clare, and when they reveal it I was understandably smug. :D Anyway, I like this indepth look at Clare's past, and by the way, Teresa has a high forehead. :P

I've also recently picked up Lovely Complex. Boy, the two main characters has more chemistry together than all other couples in the show. It's fascinating looking at them interact with each other. And instead of noticing how pretty Risa is (I thought she looks quite normal, not too good, not too bad), I'm more inclined to noticing that Atsushi is actually quite good looking. :P When he has those flower hair clips when playing basketball, I had a split second thought that he was actually a she. LOL

Guess we're but one of the few people who love Emily of New Moon~
^^

I also think Teddy's mother is overprotective of his health, but I wonder if there's some deeper connection between seeing Teddy's drawings and some sad memories in her past... like it reminds her of her husband or something...?

I can see Perry being a "diplomat" kind of guy, for some reason... but he'd have to cross the barrier of being illeterate or it'll be really difficult for him to achieve that :)

I was clinging on to Lucky Star like a feverish otaku clutching a full body pillow of Konata, but bloody hell, Episode 4 was horrendously boring. It actually made me ANGRY to watch it.

"I really adore Terry a lot."

The correct spelling of his name is "Teddy" ;)

"I do not know why Terry’s mother acts the way she does"

My theory is that she's become overprotective of Teddy, because of his bad health. I believe that she sees his paintings as an act of independance, or something similar.

"I do wonder what the talents of Perry and IIse are"
I think you can guess Perry's talent already. Remember how he said how he wanted to be Canada's president? I don't think he was really joking when he said that.

This show really is great. :)
