Yes, it probably fits the slightly loony and ridiculous mannerisms of Torogai to be honest. I do wonder how Torogai is that famous in the palace considering how she is in fact rather reclusive and in fact a traveler. I do agree that the Seidoushi will have a huge problem to succeed, due to pride taking over his decisions way too much. It's perhaps a crisis of sorts, and he's refusing to get help from others who might be more knowledgeable than him. A low wisdom count, if you ask me. I don't know. I think the relationship is a lot more easy between them because they have known each other for 20 years. Theirs is a friendship as much as anything else, but it doesn't mean that friendship will preclude romance, right? Although to be honest, I get the vibe that Tonda is interested by Barsa isn't.
