Now for Emily!

@Usagijen: Yes, Emily's love interest in Teddy sounds more like a shock how pretty/cute he looks, but I doubt that they will pursue anything seriously with it, considering he is actually very sickly.

I also wonder what IIse's father is actually doing. I mean, we know that he's a chemist and probably a doctor, but it does tell you a little about the queer peculiarity of the girl. What is she actually good at? Emily's good at writing poetic verses, Terry at drawing. How abotu the others ?_?

First the Seirei No moribito replies :)

@Briar: I am actually thinking of the hong kong moves without all the crazy CGs these days. You know, the good old school fighting that we know from ancient martial arts show in Hong Kong. Yes, that's the exact feeling that I felt when I saw it. It also made my pulse go a little higher for a while, to be honest.

I am not sure whether Jin is knocked out or dead, but considering that Barsa did not charge with anything other than a normal blunt weapon, it seems unlikely that he's dead. However, I have no clue honestly, but without a true death, I believe that he's still alive and might appear again. He's too good and having that kind of a backstory gives him some leeway to survive.

Hmm, hallucination, I have not given much thought about it but it does make sense since people who have lost enough blood generally has a bit of problem staying fully conscious. Yes, the girl looks like a younger Barsa by all means, but I guess the very fact that she's lying there with two master spearmen makes totally no sense. I must have required a bit more brain when watching it.

@Leon: YES, IT'S FRICKING AWESOME, GO WATCH IT NOW!

@bABEL: Gripping is definitely one of the words that can be used to describe it. It is 26 episodes and I believe with the pre-budgeting of Geneon on this baby, we are going to have a hell of a time. For once, I am hoping that this series will be fanboyed more about others but it looks unlikely without any English subs. Sigh, about the writing, I cannot agree with you more with Jin's appearance. Even with 1-2 minutes of flashback, we already feel that Jin's human rather than a cold blooded assassin. Few series can do that. Fewer series can touch you whole.

There's a word that describes Seirei no Moribito for me - 'gripping'. It's sadly not a word that can be applied to many series, but this one had me on the edge of my seat for the whole duration. It's entertainment with a real edge and is a show populated by very real characters. The writing is of such a high caliber that a character is introduced to us and within just a few short minutes we are identifying and sympathizing with him. I just checked AniDB and breathed a sigh of relief that this isn't a 12 or 13 episode series - something of this quality needs the full 26 episode treatment.

I haven't seen EP3 (sub) of Moribito yet (I will be in a few minutes though). But from what I could tell from the bits I've seen, it's looking pretty friggin' awesome.

And it's a pity that no one is subbing Kaze no Shoujo Emily. I really want to check it out. =/

I totally agree with Impz; LOVE the 3rd episode of Seirei no Moribito. Just quite simply love it. The fight scenes were so spectacular, so real, so beautifully chereography that it's a lot more entertaining than the popular animes like Bleach and Naruto. Because seriously, who wants to look at gigantic gadgets and deus ex machina-style special movements when there is down to earth and extremely exciting realistic fighting? It reminds me a lot of the older Hong Kong martial arts films, before the burst of the wire revolution and everyone gets to fly. -_-" Quite simply beautiful action scenes there. I don't think I've seen better this season.

Regarding Jin, I didn't think he was warped. I could sort of understand his reasoning. There was no way that he could let Chagum go without violating all that he is trained to be, and yet there is no way he could live with himself if he brings Chagum back and allow the emperor to kill his own son. I get the feeling that it's for both the emperor and Chagum that he decides to do it himself. And he is definitely going to kill himself after killing Chagum.

Which is why I really hope Barsa hasn't killed him, just knock him out. I would love to see more of him.

The two master spear-wielders fighting with the little girl looking on, I think it's a hallucination of Barsa's memories. The little girl looks a lot like Barsa (although I realize that in animes most characters look like each other), and I think that IS her when she was little, and one of the spear master is her father.

I also thought Chagum was very interesting in this episode. He displayed a courage that isn't shown in kids that age, and a determination and strength that I admire. I would be the first to admit that I dislike most kids, but Chagum is beginning to grow on me. The fact is, I don't think I can go through slippery slopes, dangerous situations and a stalking wolf with as much dignity as he has!

Yeah! Tonya appeared! Although I admit, Jin has pretty much replaced Tonya in my affections. *blushes* Yes, I think I'm fickle. :P
