to all of you who hated episodes 1-3 because the plot was confusing, skip 4 (because four is a recap of 1-3), and jump to five. the story slows down so ridiculously fast, and you'll go WTF at episode 5.

After that, you'll finally realized that episodes 1-3 were actually rushed on purpose, and that all of the characters except the protagonist (and historically, his lover) in episode 1-3 don't matter.

@Chaco: well, the thing is that I got way too lost by Kissdum that I actually dropped it after the 4th episode. I eventually just told myself: "Hell, I have too much anime, I am too dumb to understand, let's drop it :P"

Something like that, hah!

Glad to know I'm not the only one being thoroughly confused by the plot. First episode was really confusing with all the rapid scene switches; second episode is a bit better but we still don't know all the backstory. It feels really fast paced.

Anyway, one thing that bugs me about this series is how the enemies are SO powerful that I feel hopeless. :| Sure, there's the Necrodiver but that's only one guy. I hope they will allow the rest of the group to somehow become powerful enough to defeat the aliens together.

I hope the storytelling gets better later though. The action is great and the art is amazing but I would like to know what is going on. lol

I do agree with you on the part of the lovey dovey section, but when the relationship of the characters are somewhat ambiguous and you are throwing in huge problem after another huge problem, I do want to know a bit more.

I guess to me, I always like my anime to have a bit of romance but I highly doubt this show has it, but it is all right.

I think that the whole part is that it is to show clearly that the Necro Diver has powers way greater in terms of sight, power and accuracy as the "messiah" of the human race. I mean, it makes it logical for the humans to beat the enemy by precision, rather than sheer power.

I personally like how they can only be defeated using an unconventional means rather than merely blasting the huge thing into oblivion. It works for me, i guess.

Actually I found it annoying that the enemy was built up so powerful and yet could be beaten by a single well placed bullet. And I don't believe romance is essential in all series. Some of the best ones don't have any, GitS SAC for one. Who the hell thinks about lovey lovey stuff while fighting aliens hell bent on destroying the human race?
